When posting a bug-report, format is at follows:
1. (One sentence description of bug).
2. Affirm that the “Big Five” statements are true.
3. Instructions for reproducing the bug.
4. a LOGCAT output for the FATAL EXCEPTION (if the bug is an app crash or reboot), or ‘df’ output (if the bug relates to low free storage space). To get the output, run “adb logcat > pathtotextfile” or “adb shell df > pathtotextfile” as appropriate.
5. Any other useful information.

FAQ
1. Camera is not working? Why if is based in pre release 5?
A: its only a problem with macro focus... set infinity in camera options...
2. Themes don't work!
A: Of Course it works... only you need to create a folder in data/system/ called "theme" (REMEMBER... "theme", not Theme or themes or THEMES.... "theme") (in next version will be added a script for that themes works in first boot...
3. It is based in (insert your cm9 rom here), can i install it without a ful-wipe?
A: NOT, already tested by opera and boot but with a lot of crashes and FC...

Yeah but I'm not part of the mac team, he knows how to fix data and Mic in calls.... I've deep sleep... a collaboration would be great but he's busy with exams and don't answer when I ask he for how fix data and Mic

No, binary port, patch ROM not work with mdpi devices

I uploaded a wrong version :/ so bad, now I'm at work and have not the port here... It will be uploaded at 22.00 GMT -4

Porting PA / PAC from Triumph

Hi fih fb0 users. i tried porting the Paranoid Android 2.53 from Motorola Triumph ( http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...ranoid-android-ver2-53-alpha-1-01may2013.html ) by using this guide ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2232773 )
Rom is booting but stuck in boot loop. i can see PA beans boot animation.
i have got logcat (attached)
I request our developers to have a look at the log and help me in getting the working PA.
Just want to see PA JB in fih fb0 before it dies.

Have you changed LIBANDROID.RUNTIME.SO
2. if you remember elol shared with us a cm9 folder for porting
you can also try making same folder by replacing files from CM10 rom into that file.
I think Gundul and Lanhoter can help us also

finally got one reply after 80+ views
the above logcat is after replacing the runtime.so file
i googled about the errors and found out the problem is with framework.jar but not sure.

Just change BOOT.IMG from PA Rom from MT DEv from any kernel. It will boot definately( I tried and got sucess) but there will be a pointer as faced in gundul CM9 roms. Only he can help to remove that pointer

Open any kernel zip file and replace boot image into PA Rom from triumph
dont change anything else
it will boot to home screen but with pointer on screen

POINTER Problem is solved. working on Network issue. hope i can hit the target.

Network is not a big deal

What about reboots?
If this way is successful, you can also port PAC rom

Good news friends. after 69 flashes and n number of logcats. finally got the ROM which will not reboot on its own . Hold on
Still have problem with
Network (could able to get GSM settings but not showing the network)
Wifi ( Tried everything i could but not able to get it ) concentrated more on this
GPS (GPS Settings force close but this could not be a issue)
PASettings ( every thing works but after second reboot the UI settings will become default )
Camera ( could able to take pictures but screen is black )
Graphichs ( graphic glitches can be seen like in earlier ICS days. replaced the latest egl libs but no display )
Still hard way to go. but sure we are in the correct direction to get the PA.

Have you tried full guide of porting triumph rom by Aben
Or you can PM CK for any help
Compare Build.prop for ICS and JB. try to use max build.prop from ICS PA rom
For camera, try to replaceall camera libs from Lanhoter rom

If you got rid of reboot issue. Upload it in dev section with all the pros and Cons, we will try to update it or other can also have a look at it bcoz i think this thread is not getting visibilty here

hmm try this
set background proccess limit to "at most 3 process" and turn on force gpu rendering in settings - developer option
set Window animation and transition scale to .5x in settings - developer option
turn off icon shadow and change transitional effect (to whatever you likes) in launcher settings
turn off vibrate on touch in settings - sound
go to security centre folder - app control - and unselect application that you wont make it boot in background process.
Q: Menu key is not working, Where is the application drawer?
A: MIUI ROM Didn't have something like that. just swype homescreen to the right and there is yours app
Q: I Messaging app don't work, i can't SMS
Q: I Can't Copy in file explorer
A: Enable Root Permission - open Root Explorer app - Go to system folder - Open build.prop - and change ro.sf.lcd_density=240

You might want to actually make the system work at least 99% before you upload it.
Some bugs can remain but if its one of the main things you need specifically for the device then there shouldn't be a rom thread until it is fixed.

It´s booting,
Camera works.
No Problems with the Apps (only quick tested).
SystemUI-FC only if i tab on Nitification- or Quicksettings-Bar.
Mobile-Data need´s to be removed for P311X,
Messaging-App and Phone-App need´s to be removed for P311X too.
I´ll try your new Patch right after work and report back (mediafire is down).
I´ll post some screenshots to.
I tried it myself and i faild to port MIUI Someone told "...porting MIUI is a nightmare because it´s not OpenSource.... " i know what he mean

You can over come system ui force close.....
Congratulations for your new miui port.....
If you need v5 3.19 build let me know ....I have two ports with some bugs.....
Due to some other work I have stoped the project.

Forgive the glitches, first time developing for a multi-base with a firmware like this-
In a perfect world I should be able to hit every moto_msm8960 device but for now I've split up resolution for simplicity :x

P.S. Now ROM have one more issue - dialer FC after first call.. I install exdialer, but it can`t make call too..
P.P.S. Few bugs is nothing for alfa version! )))

Dirty solution for aplying themes: unzip the .mtz and place the file you want in /system/media/theme/default.
To change lockscreen wallpaper, rename an image in 540*960 resolution to lock_wallpaper and place it to the same folder.
P.S. MiCloud doesn't work. After signing in force closes. @St.Noigel are you signet to MiCloud? That might be why contacts and dialer doesn't work.

Sorry the way I worded that doesn't make it a bit confusing what I meant to say was I'm not reporting a bug like I told tqr I would but that I found doing a factory reset from within the ROM actually works unlike team gummy or cyanogenmod on this phone.
P.S some bugs I have found are SMS works sometimes but not all the time and contacts refuses to open no matter what I do.

Sorry the way I worded that doesn't make it a bit confusing what I meant to say was I'm not reporting a bug like I told tqr I would but that I found doing a factory reset from within the ROM actually works unlike team gummy or cyanogenmod on this phone.
P.S some bugs I have found are SMS works sometimes but not all the time and contacts refuses to open no matter what I do.[/QUOTE]

Thing is people get annoyed when you don't post your work so I threw up this alpha more as a way to say "Yeah this is in the works, yeah it's possible" more than anything else.
The best builds of this firmware are done in PatchROM which was really not built to be used with multi-bases; because of this I've had to get creative but I really feel that maybe tonight or tomorrow I can have a completed patch build done

even with the few minor issues it has at the moment its one of the best alphas ive even used and i will gladly use test ever release you post.

Considering this is kkbl build, are the issues like other kkbl builds having like microphone and speaker etc present in this? If it is present can we expect jbbl build?

Nice ROM now I'm testing battery. has few goodies like PAC but only few and nevertheless I will be checking the battery life of this rom

First time I have installed a ROM in about a year, and what a great ROM. Thanks for making a LBL version for us locked owners, installed flawlessly. So many options, I'm totally lost with what to do!!!
I have one issue though that might be solvable and that is that my screen seems over sensitive, scrolling jumps a fair bit as though im touching other areas of the screen and also when typing, swiftkeys is adding strokes i'm not pressing or jumping words in as though ive finished and hit space.
This issue was only on first day of use so i'll keep an eye on it as it may settle but thought best to flag it up just in case

Try installing glove Xperia from play store.I guess the sensitivity issue is caused by glove mode. Just give it try.

I know I do not have glove mode on via the rom but will try Glove Xperia and disable it, might help things, never know until I try

I had somewhat same problem of touch screen accuracy on another rom. I installed glove Xperia and enabled it then disabled it and then rebooted my phone and after that no problems.
