any idea what happened?
UPDATE
It started but stuck on: Downloading... Don not turn off Target!!!
Get it fully charged.
Hopefully you can flash stock firmware on it. Your data are likely gone though.

At least 10 seconds - and once you're sure the device is off, connect it to your charger (wall plug) and visit it in a few hours and see if it turns on normally again, or maybe even check for the "charging" animation and see if it's charging/full.
After turning it off and charging, if you are unable to reboot, then flash a stable gb firmware.

Yes I'm not joking. This is the only way to use Odin with p1000. Don't waste time downloading those craps from the bull$hit hotfile.com thingies (I wasted more than half an hour Googling furiously.)XDA surely will help ya. Then after finding this it works like a charm, believe me. Tried it
, only prob is tab auto shutting down sometimes, look at my another thread in Q&A section and please reply to that.

That is not the only way.
I have used Odin few dozen times with P1000 pit file from overcome GB stock safe.
Never I heard using P1010
P1010 is a WiFi only device.

Sorry. I just doubt P1010 has compatible pit file.
It doesn't even have a radio/modem/baseband.
One of the partition we have is for baseband.
Do have in mind that yours is now acting funny, I can't say your using P1010 pit is solid.

That is just another download mode.
You can flash it when Odin detected it.
But make sure it is fully charge.

Why bother you can have up to 4 roms going at the same time in SS 3.05. In essence you can quad boot.
Sent from my BNTV250A using xda app-developers app
I believe that boot manager is not compatible with the Bionic due to the locked bootloader.
Theoretically they could modify it to have safestrap auto-flash something at bootup (or modify the safestrap config file), but all those solutions would still require Safestrap, and anyway they haven't.
Thought since it was for the RAZR with ICS (which by the way has a locked bootloader) it might work on the Bionic! I just went with SS! It works fine! Thanks!

don't use safe strap. unlock the bootloader, flash a real rom. change the boot logo to the stock one and noone will ever know you that you unlocked it.
Which would you suggest? I do have unlocked boot loader currently.

Well you don't use safe strap with am unlocked bootloader. Get cwm.

Just download the cwm file and place it in fast boot folder or platform tools if you have SDK.. Open command window there by presssing shift key and right clicking simultaneously... Type the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery_name.img". Replace the name of your recovery To recovery_name... Then "fastboot reboot"

This happen twice on me both times I had to hold power and volume down than the phone just wakes up. Also both times this has happen I was riding my bike from work listening to music and it just shuts down. I'm wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problem or if anyone knows why this is happening. I'm considering calling sprint and swapping for a new phone.

ViperRom is solid, I have been running it with no issues at all since the phone was released. Maybe you didn't wipe properly before flashing or maybe just a bad flash, last thing I would consider is hardware. Try downloading the Rom again (don't flash the same download again) wipe and flash and see how you get on.
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
I agree with volk and try a different rom. Just remember no 2 phones are alike, What works well on mine may not work at all on yours. Odd, yes but true.
I flashed cleanrom last night, and just a few minutes ago it happen again. I'm starting to think it's a hardware issue

Have you tried locking the boot loader and then running the RUU and starting over?
Not yet haven't had the time but this weekend I will be able to. My plan is to unroot, undo s off. stay stock for a few days see if the issue disappears. Than root again and if that fixes the problem than I'm keep my phone if not I'm swap phones.

Running RUU should not affect s-off but it is known to fix many issues people have had where flashing new roms didnt fix the problem. I would try it over anything else at this point and then root again and flash away and see how you get on.

boot into download mode using vol dwn+home+power.(even though the screen is off keep pressing the buttons for 15 secs).. then after a few seconds press vol up.. connect the phone to pc and open odin. check if it recognizes the phone., if the COM port show yellow or blue... try flashing a GB rom which has boot loader....
Good luck. I hope you have success.
