I got 1h45 with ~25% left watching youtube videos the whole time with 100% brightness. My phone signal wasn't the best though.
That would make about 2h10 all the way to 0% battery

If u are on GB try lowering brightnes to ~30%,turn off wifi and 3G, or set Airplane mode ON
If u are on ICS, even this measures cant help u much, I think, cuz ICS @ the moment is big battery drainer.
But also u can switch kernel.
I am sorry but u must figure that out by your self.
Good luck with that
Sometimes after a hour of display it's at 80%.....

Had 2g on with data but was on wifi 1h browsing
And games juste 2g with data on but ads blocked (better for batery)
Ow and yeah my battery does wierd goes form 50 to 20% and reboot irs back to 47% or somthing or goes out/dead and turn on and have 40% left

I dont think so. Every phone uses 2G.
Like cars with ABS. If ABS(3G) stop working car still can brake(2G).
So if u are at location with no 3G, phone must switch on 2G.
Phone also use 2G for calling, not 3G.
If i am wrong please correct me

ABS was a terrible comparison but I admire the effort
Anyway I get 4 to 6 hours depending on what doing. This is screen on time, browsing on wifi, 2g on to receive texts etc.

so i was listening to music. Using earphones ,after 3-5 mins later the phone got too hot to touch..!!!! I was thinking it was the the heat in india, as my friend's htc also got banged up and had to sent it to repair!!
I use stock 2.3.4 v20 b... do any app with push notification use processing speed and hence raise temp???. I have a attached a image of time frame during i was listening to music
My best guess to much battery is dissipated in form of heat..
Also i use at lowest brightness when not out door.(use manual brightness)

It just coughed out smoke
When charging and gaming with wifi enabled data, and also high screen brighness, mine gets pretty hot too.
I think its just normal, but keep in mind that li-ion batteries will die a lot faster if they are exposed at high temperatures (>30ºC) for a long time and fully charged.

Where you using stock headset to listen to music? If not check if using stock headsets causes same problem. If yes, better go for warranty. (if you got one)
The battery on this phone is the WORST ive ever used!!
Ridiculous!!
I know what apps and settings to use to reduce battery life, i'm not a noob,(screen brightness, bluetooth off, data off, short screen time out, locations off,gps off, disabled push notifications from all apps etc etc) but still!!
For example i used dolphin browser:exited>turned wifi off and put phone in airplane mode.. and after 6 hours DOLPHIN COSUMED 70% of my battery and went from 90% to 20% whilst idle doing nothing over 6 hours!!! Uninstalled that and put chrome back on..
So i NEED a good app killer that makes apps stay killed, tried BOOSTER, kills apps but when you refresh they all come back on mostly!!!!
no im not rooted, heard that makes battery worse .. Also im on 4.0.3 version V10F
Not sure my battery seems fairly well.

it needs root and the user has not a rooted phone.
I suggest to use the 'maxinum bacground running processes' option.
However It's better to check the downloades apps that may drain battery and delete them.
After doing this,I suggest to use fast reboot pro and activate the option 'kill process when screen off'.
The apps would start all the time... when he likes to close the apps permanently, then he needs root access.otherwise the apps will start again.
Or use better battery stats to analyse the drainer apps and replace with alternate apps. At sample Facebook is an very big battery drainer....

(But then, i did freeze all possible apps from titanium backup and put my cpu on my powersaving plan)
SPOILER ALERT! Lets go really of topic now...
Guess what. I have no wifi internet as my cable modem is broken(new is ordered) i have been browsing and posting here over the 3g connection for 2 hrs now. I am tired. The clock is 23:45 and i have to get up from bed at 6:45 tomorrow to be able to reach school. FML!!!!

If you didn't root you'r phone you can do this Solutions:
1.Go to "settings > apps > all" and disable any programs you can like weather , youtube , google search , etc...
2.go to "settings > developer options > background process limit" and set that to "no background processes" and check show all ANRs
3.install advanced task manager or task killer and set that to auto kill when screen off
Sent from my LG-P880 using Tapatalk 2
Rooting and installing titanium backup pro sounds like the best option. If you have used any of the apps you dont like, you can just freeze them. If you dont care. Uninstall them!
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
or you can use rom toolbox lite (if it works on lg o4x,I read that it didn't work some weeks ago) wich is free and has lots of tools inside.
another good solution is changing the OOM values and set higher values : doing this you don't have much backgroung running apps so you get more speed on your phone and you'll save some battery juice but you can't do lots of multitasking operation with this solution...

Hello guys.
I wanna change from a Galaxy S3 with 3000mah battery to HTC One (probably One Max?).
So I wanna ask you how much ScreenOn Time you get if:
-you use it all the time without Standby until 20/10/0% -> Do you get upto 5/6h or more?
-you use it normally a day
-you let it all the time in standby/deepsleep mode
--------
Is the battery life good?
Thanks for your answers!
Greeeetzzzz..
Hi there,
I'm on Elegancia v6, using RomCleaner and Greenify to hibernate apps.
My batt life is about 2 days on average use - heavy Whatsapp useage -.
Screen brightness set on second lowest level and wifi on/ mobile data off when possible.
Just switched to ElementalX kernel, comming from stock, and increased batt life again.

Hehe, yeah..believe me...I'm in Elegancia group chat and that one is online 24/7
If counted I'll have about 700 messages per day in WhatsApp, daily a one hour call on my way from work back home.
But it depends on your use. I don't use facebook or twitter for example but I have two mail accounts syncing permanently.
I got 1 day and a few hours with moderate use and power saving mode. Screen is on for approximately 4 hours (70% with brightness at minimum).

I'm running ARHD 12.1 with the original firmware from 1.29.708.x.
Im usually connected to WiFi and operate the screen on auto brightness, often in the dark. As such the cost of LTE and backlight are minimised.
That particular run had an hour and a half of wake locks related to WiFi that I haven't accounted for yet.

I really like the black variant of the One. But I've heard that it easily gets scratches which are more noticable than on the silver, is that right? What do you do for protecting your One?
And I wanna know if it is hard to s off, unlock bootloader and root the One, because it could be possible that I want to flash a custom ROM.

Hey, thanks for these theme! It's really nice, except for the quick toggle of the rotation of the screen, it has no icon, just the label and a blank white space where the icon should be. Is it supposed to be like that or it's just a bug?

Hi again! Don't you think that the icons in status bar are too little? Especially the wifi and the vibration ones.
Inviato dal mio A0001 utilizzando Tapatalk
Can I make a couple of small feature request? Right now the signal strength icon doesn't match the icon in the quick settings tile. Can you make them more similar? In the same vein, when the statusbar is themed the wifi and signal icons don't show the exclamation mark in case of lost connectivity (I think it's just a missing asset).
Thanks a lot!

A guy from Android Headlines who reviewed it got 7h SOT.
it really depend of your usage, brightness, signal strength etc.
Still sucks, cuz Mate 7 got also over 9h.

Until Android 6 its going to suck anyway, as there's a bug in Lollipop which drains battery. In Kitkat its ok, and most likely fixed in 6 also.
Last review i saw on youtube: 42h use (6h SOT) and still 45% left. Holy s...

Im consistently getting 6-7hrs of SOT on ZUK Z1. also the 2.5amp charger is so quick
Ok, now I got 4:43h SOT and 50% left. +8h with CoC

Is this considered battery thread? If yes I'll will like to see some screen shot for amount of time on and sot. Thanks
Apart from the screen, Google play services was draining a large portion of my battery. I have disabled 'Google location history' which seemed to have done the trick. Google play services no longer appears to be in the usage. Fingers X
If I just use screen all day I can get 10h/11h sot maybe more if low brightness.
Normal usage is closer to 5h-8h over 40h-60h obviously depending on various factors.
In short the best battery life I have every seen.
With root and xposed I'm sure I could make the idle drain much better and possibly even more sot if I start messing with kernel settings.
I concur with your opinion: awesome battery life. You can stay away from your charger for a day (intensive use) or two (light use). Note: I just use one nanosim for the time being.

Well, anyway my battery behaviour is quite strange.
It's barely 11pm and I'm at 10%, and for half a day I had the phone in lollipop power save mode.
At 6 pm I was at 50,% then I switched the phone on balance.
I have to try removing one of the 2 sim.

Just the minimum possible, 320.

I don't think it can affect battery life. At the end pixels are the same.
Yes very Italian! [emoji634] [emoji634] [emoji634]

It was just a tricky question to remain in topic ????
Anyway, I know that in some devices the dpi setting affect battery life.
