Hi,
I am using Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) model since one year. Recently I have upgraded from Froyo to Ginger Bread (2.3.3) in Samsung service center. Before I can able to see my SMS messages in full view using 'View Message' option from 'Select Action' after tapping on any message in the thread. Now when i tap on the message, it opens the pop-up window 'Select Action' with link text (number or web link) which have in message. But 'View Message' option is not appearing in 'Select Action' window which works before upgrade OS. Please let me know the way that how enables the 'View Message' option.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
RGNath.

If you received a new sms it will show you the message on your screen. I know you can disable but how?
Go to:
Settings -> Sounds&Notifications -> Notifications (Tab)-> Select "Messaging:New text message <-- and now you can uncheck the box "Display message on screen"

Here's my advice: read the manual or do a search.
Settings
Personal
Sounds & Notifications
Notifications
Select "Connection Established" from dropdown menu
Take tick out of "Display message on screen" box
Having the same problem, "Connection established" notification "display message on screen" option unchecked.
Lost me then! Worked on mine.
Perhaps try checking the display message box, see if it still gives the notification, then uncheck and once again check for the notification.
that type of thing has worked for me on other problems.
Other than that, sorry, don't know!
im using m2d and whenever i get a message the default wm6 sms notifier pops up with the text message. is there a way to disable this as i would just like to see the message when i go to the message tab.
Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications. Notifications tab > Event > Messaging: New text message > uncheck "Display message on screen".

Has anyone else had troubles getting the sent sms notification to go away? I am runing wm 6.1 and I can't get sent sms to go away..
I cannot create new events in the stock calendar app. If I try to add an event when I select save the following message pops up:
"Loading Calendars"
>Insert circle that rotates similar to an hour glass
And that message with the rotating circle will stay there indefinitely if I let it.
Any ideas on what would cause this? I also have Yahoo, Outlook and Google calendars that I cannot get to sync with the stock calendar app.
All set. The issue was in the "All Apps" tab "Calendar Storage" was disabled. My first thought was to go into the app and select enable but that button was missing so I went to the 3-dot menu in the top-right cornet and selected "Reset App Preferences" which enabled Calendar Storage. I then launched the calendar app and it works fine now
Hello, i have a problem with my p10. All the apps that have that popup circle with a number in it, the number isnt there, only a circle.. What shall i do?
Close the thread, i found the solutin.
Thank you
Pinch with your fingers on the home screen.
Go to settings, then Badge app icons and select the option in the right top corner Unread message.
Then select the option Unread message instead of notification message.
