Have you tried to flash another ROM to see you still have problem?
ok, will try.
Have you installed any battery saving apps, that might be the problem?
No, but as i guess , the problem connected with apps which want to connect to internet, because I turn off internet connection on my phone..
i have other problem with mic, when someone call me their hear me after 2-3 seconds. As I found out, this problem is very spread, but no solution is suggested.
Haven't u updated to 2.3.6? It may solve your voice issues.
Can you figure out apps running in the background that make screen turn on/off?
I installed 2.3.7, but no change, Yes I found that app- it is compass.
Check the settings of that compass whether screen is on/off? Are you using stock or CM ROM? Check also the display settings.

Try lowering your display brightness...that worked for me.
I use CM 7.2, and uninstall that app and everything with display is ok, but mic problem still there is.

Lol. This is very normal, the light sensor is also the proximity sensor. When they call you, and it feels that you have the phone in the ear, it turns off the other speaker, because you dont need to listen it in your cheek. But if you activate speakers on function, it will sound on both speakers

willing to change rom and lose all data? follow this guide and choose the ROM you want...
[GUIDE] Solve Bootloops and no OS on phone!
Or copy the rom from the pc to your android and install it with the custom recovery you installed the way i explaned it in the thread mentioned
---------- Post added at 09:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:59 PM ----------
Maybe make a backup in the recovery of your current OS and copy it to the PC

It will fix your problem if the problem is related to the OS or settings or something software related... what you could try prior to that is a factory reset from the cusom recovery. This doesn't delete your internal storage... but all apps and app data setting etc...

Dunno bout solution, but turning 'Vibrate on touch' OFF in Settings>Sound lessened my woes...
It's stronger than in MIUI. But I find this to not be an issue since the vibration is on the weak side on MIUI anyways.

It ruined the vibrator

Hello,
I am unable to set a custom alarm tone. I tried putting the ogg file in alarms and notifications, but just no luck.
Also the button backlights just don't seem to turn on.

Very stable, could be new FW forces higher voltage to WiFi unit, even the range is slightly extended. I noticed it because I get better signal in bathroom
@alray No keyboards support my language, so having swype or something like that is useless. But I will try with others, just for the sake of vibro

You are not forced to use the swipe functionally if you don't want, even if using swiftkey. You can change the vibration in swiftkey to what you like.

There is one thing you can try if your device is rooted. Not sure if it will work but if you go to play store and download keyboard backlight controller by deskangel, and then open it and tap lock on backlight it might work.

It works, but the buttons remain lit even after you turn the screen off.
Make sure "only when screen on" is enabled. I cant test it because I don't want root anymore
Morning. I hate automatic light mode, i always turn it off, but on my p30 pro it cames ON alone everytime i turn off and than on my phone, so every morning i must change the setting again. Someone had the same problem and know what to do?
I made a reset 2 times.
Finally if the light of the screen is not setted at the the top the screen is flickering(the light became slower) with some application like chrome or whatsapp.(i turn ed off "sunlight reading mode from "developers option")
Someone can help?
