Dunno bout solution, but turning 'Vibrate on touch' OFF in Settings>Sound lessened my woes...
It's stronger than in MIUI. But I find this to not be an issue since the vibration is on the weak side on MIUI anyways.

It ruined the vibrator

Every thng now works perfect with recalibration and vibration off.
Does anybody know a way to increase the strenght of vibration during calls or notifications? I usually use my phones in only vibrating mode, but with the z1s vibration strenght is so low for me that it is very hard to notice it. I cannot find it in the settings, so does anybody know where this setting is hidden, and if it doesnt exists, does anybody know another way to increase it other way?
Thanks in advance!

same question here: i find vibration not to be strong enough
Yeah.
Some custom ROMs can do this..
Or you can use the app "Vibration Config" from Play Store (need root)
(Sorry, I can't post links :'D)

On some phones (like Nexus 5) is likely there is an issue with the vibration motor..
Which phone has this problem?

Hello,
I am unable to set a custom alarm tone. I tried putting the ogg file in alarms and notifications, but just no luck.
Also the button backlights just don't seem to turn on.

Very stable, could be new FW forces higher voltage to WiFi unit, even the range is slightly extended. I noticed it because I get better signal in bathroom
@alray No keyboards support my language, so having swype or something like that is useless. But I will try with others, just for the sake of vibro

You are not forced to use the swipe functionally if you don't want, even if using swiftkey. You can change the vibration in swiftkey to what you like.

There is one thing you can try if your device is rooted. Not sure if it will work but if you go to play store and download keyboard backlight controller by deskangel, and then open it and tap lock on backlight it might work.

It works, but the buttons remain lit even after you turn the screen off.
Make sure "only when screen on" is enabled. I cant test it because I don't want root anymore
Since a little while I have an issue where if I leave my phone locked for a while (idle), and I try to unlock it, the screen doesn't show anything.
The device does still unlock but no image is displayed, the only way to fix it temporarily is to hold the power button and reboot the device.
I'm running Rooted Marshmallow atm, but the issue occurs with any ROM I have tried so far.
Does anyone know how to fix this, because it is really annoying.
Greetings
Does anyone have an idea??
I get this actually. The 'fix' is to swipe down from the top when the phone is unlocked but the screen is black.

Could it be due to Doze?
Everything ok with my device, never had this problem. I'm running official stock 6.0 non-rooted. Try to deactivate Moto Display and see if the problem continues to happen.

I've "disabled" Doze for 2 days now, and the issue hasn't been back since then.
So might be a doze related bug.
Still not certain

this also happens on my XT1093 5.1 stock...I can twist the camera on hit the home circle and that brings back the display....
I installed Oreo update and noticed that sometimes I get double vibrate feedback when pressing the capacitive buttons, home button or keyboard.
I also noticed that the vibration intensity is not kept and it becomes increasingly stronger.
I tried resetting (delete everything including storage) and sideloading oreo without recovering from cloud to exclude any apps interfering. Still as soon as I finish the welcome configuration steps I encounter this problem.
Because on the official Oreo topic everyone is keen on discussing installation problems (even though everyone is just repeating the same things) I thought to open a separate topic.
I'm having the same issue as well
Me too.
Issue exists since leaked beta 2, was never fixed. This release is basically a reskinned beta...
That's kind of disappointing
Same for me!
please raport to oneplus that we get it fixed!!
I also have it but it doesn't bother me. :/
Fingerprint unlock haptic feedback is also gone
I also tried that and can not determine the error.

Same here... Double haptic vibration almost all the time I press 'back' or 'recent' buttons
OOs 5.0 / Magisk 15
Not a big deal but still annoying, hope OP will fix that
