I am with official Rogers V20C ROM, never flash unofficial ROM to P925 but want to, Questions to experienced Rogers V20c users:
1, Where can I find a list of Rogers V20c compatible kernels? which one is best?
2, I already rooted and installed CWM recovery. To flash ROM, is it correct that: first use CWM to flash ROM zip file, then use CWM to flash V20c compatible kernel zip file?
Thanks.

i install the jvk rom with the bootloader but now i want to install miui.To do that i have to be at froyo.Am i have to downgrade my bootloader for froyo and which versions of froyo have bootloader?
No mate, you should be able to flash your desired rom as it's compatible downward. Use Odin, or flash a kernel with CWM and do it that way
But if you find it more comfortable that way, XXJPU and ZSJPG roms have bootloaders as far as i know on samfirmware.com.
thanks man.
i am going to flash EZbase as the base rom.
I'm currently using MCR FR19 (Fear Kill) with NeoBlaze kernel which convert system partitions to EXT 4. and I have flashed baseband to latest with SmartFlash.
Now I wanna install latest stock rom using LGMobile update (with all stock basband, rom and kernel).
How do i do that ? Do i have to go back to EXT 3 and flash basband to old one ?
BUMP. No answers ?

if you're Europe then you should flash Europe open. it's good stock firmware until wait for GB
On a custom rom, wouldnt update OTA, just use smartflash. You never know the outcome with FOTA on custom roms, i think FOTA should even be disabled on custom roms? At least on Cyanogen it is disabled.
I have LG-P999DW from Windmobile in Canada, can I use the Europe open P990 stock rom?
The smartflash utility seems to work fine flashing baseband , but won't recognize any of the stock roms in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041 .... ? any help .....

How to install this ROM and Kernel? Can anyone help me?
I have 2 tar files but I don't know how to install to Optimus 2X"
Tahnks Guys!
Hi. I have my SGSII which is really easy to modify and install firmwares and ROMs, but my fathers X8 is messed up. All I could find is ROMs but not firmwares for download. I can't install 2.3 ROM on 2.1 fw, right?; At least not on SGSII, so where can I dl GB firmware?
Maybe I'm stupid, but what's the difference between ROM and firmware? SE doesn't support x8 any more and left xperia owners with official Eclair 2.1 ROM, so all You are able to do is root Your father device, install recovery and flash a ZIP file which include GB 2.3 ROM for stock kernel (Like GingerDx f. eg.).... OR unlock bootloader (if You can of course, manufacture date here is important), flash custom kernel and than flash custom ROM (like GB MiniCM7 or iCS MiniCM9).
Well while I was reading on SGSII subforum tips I saw that you cannot flash ICS rom on Android 2.3, you have to install first ICS firmware, then flash ICS ROM.
Thanks I will try flashing GB ROM.
Hi, is it possible that someone with Lg L90 D405n, running Stock rom v10d, would make a rom backup in cwm, and then upload it for me to download? I'm looking for this version, flashable via cwm. Thanks.
Hi, I am currently use SOKP (5.1.1) rom on my t mobile note 4. My baseband is still COD6 (I guess bootloader should be in the same version as baseband). My TWRP is still 2.8.0.X.
I want to switch to Touchwiz based custom rom. In the meanwhile, I think I need to update the baseband (bootloader and etc) and TWRP for a smooth experience.
Can anyone advise an approach to do it? I am thinking to flash the latest original N910TUVU2DOK2_N910TTMB2DOK2_TMB.zip rom via odin. Can anyone post a link to the instruction? I want to make sure what I do via odin is correct.
I assume this flash will automatically update bootloader and baseband to the latest version. and I need to re-root and update TWRP per the instruction here before flash the TW based custom rom.
I figured out that I could just load the stock via odin and go from there. So far so good.
