hi everyone
recently i have bought a new sensation xl and it's updated to android 4.0.3 and htc sense 3.6
and i just want to delete the unnecessary apps build in my phone internally. so i decided to root ( i dunno what's the difference between s-off and root ) but i dun want to flash a new rom as my old phone desire s was bricked to burn the chip.
so is 4.0.3 possible to root and anyone would like to give a tutorial kindly?

I'm looking to buy an HTC one m7 to put a kind of pure android on it. I saw stock android on the Nexus 5 and I want to have something like that but with the m7. Is that possible? And what is the prognosis of future updates in the community for custom android versions? Pretty much wondering if it is foreseeable that I will be stuck on a version of android in a year or so?

You can get a Google play edition of HTC One or you can use custom Rom based on stock android
GPE edition updated within 15 days when Google release new update !!

I changed My htc one with stock sence 6 htc rom to google edition rom rooted one.
But yesterday i got anew update for this google edition rom .
After applying the update i lost the root.
How to root it again 5.1 android L?

There is no difference rooting a Sense based rom or GPE rom. You only need to flash the latest supersu version.
