This is my first contribution to XDA...
I made this kernel from source code provided by Samsung "Opensource.samsung.com" For Galaxy Y Duos Device.. source file "GT-S6102_GB_Opensource.zip" .Please read this whole post before you install this kernel in your device..
Source code link is in my signature.
My reason for this kernel is to have these:
1. A fine tuned kernel for my daily use.
2. compatible with all rom.
3. simple, compact, yet still customizable
4. more battery life (if possible..)
5. good performance

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
Copy these files inside SDCard.. CompactV1.2.5.zip (kernel), CWM-6102.zip (ClockWorkMod Recovery tool)
Note: Don't keep these files inside any "FOLDERS".. Just copy it to SDCard root (parent) folder..
Switch off your mobile.
After a small vibration (switch off confirmation) PRESS and HOLD 3 BUTTONS (VOLUME UP+HOME BUTTON+POWER BUTTON)
when samsung galaxy logo appears, release the 3 pressed keys..
After few seconds.. You will see Android system recovery (red text with 4 options lines)..
Select "apply update from sdcard"
Note: (Volume up+down for "scrolling" through options or selection of files, home button for "select" any option.. in CWM only: power button for "back" option)
Then Select "CWM-6102.zip".
ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.6 is loaded now.
Select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard"
Scroll and Select "CompactV1.2.5.zip" and select "Yes"
Wait till the menu appears again..
Select "Reboot system now" and you have successfully installed Compact kernel.

If you got problems or if you wish to have stock kernel back.. DOWNLOAD Latest Stock Kernel(My own DDLG1 update) Its a CWM flashable zip.. So to install go to CWM and install
If you want to revert back to your old kernel. just rename Oldboot.img file to boot.img and replace it to Compact.zip file and follow installation procedure to install it.. Thanks for reading this!

Please everyone.. Try to provide review/report from your side after installing the kernel.. It helps me to understand how many people are having issues/not if there are any.. Because if only persons with "Issues" report.. its hard for them and me to know whether others are having this problem or not.. You can try avast for firewall feature, No-frills CPU Control for setting the above features like Freq, governors, I/O schedulers.. CPU SPY for checking CPU frequency states usage.. Quick System Info PRO for checking whether they are working and what all are included features. All 4 apps for free and available at google's play store.. Or You can try any other apps of your choice like Set CPU, CPU Tuner etc..! Enjoy!

Also friends, kurotsugi has made a kernel for duos too.. So if you guys are fan of kuro's work.. or intersted to try the kernel.. Here i wanted to present kuro's kernel for duos.. [Download]
He is not going to continue work on it.. as he feels its not right or easy to develop kernel without device as testers may brick their device.. So i asked him and added his kernel here..
So, main question.. what it has?

i think these are there.. but not sure.. please check and report..

Please read this whole post before you install this kernel in your device and since its only for my needs i didn't add too many features in this.. But if anyone has same needs as mine they can use this...

I have tested it and running still in my device.. So its booting and working fine.. But still for safety i advice you to keep another kernel for flashing if bootloop occurs.. for ex download iDUOS 1.3.1.zip file.. its easy to install or any other of your choice...

error when i want to move, delete, or rename files n folders. can u fix this bug ? This bug like vM00 kernel v1.10.

I open root explorer n want to delete some files on /system/ but i cant. And there is a notification "delete failed".

Which option you choose? I choose option 4. Infuzion kernel with vM00 recovery.
Try to create a folder in /system/ using rootex. Copy build.prop into the folder. Then, delete the file again file. and delete the folder. it can be deleted or failed ?

i now see.. thanks for reporting that i probably will not notice that becuase i dont make xtra folders in /system/ .. now i have found whats causing that and fixed it.. i will update download link as soon as i finish uploading

Thank you for the quick response, I'll' wait for updates the kernel. Oh ya. One more, one of my friends who use this kernel says that he cant download apps from playstore. Always error when to download on PS. I have not checked but maybe you can try it.
But, overall, your kernel is good. Good job bro

bro i tried your kernel I think it didn't fit well with my ROM the status bar was gone. and even the USB mode. i'm gonna try to reinstall the 14 toggle status bar.

maybe you didnt sign all apk on the rom? they should have the same signature especially when adding modifications llike the 14 toggles.. try it. maybe that will solve the problem. that probably caused the problem but i dunno.hehe.cos that was the problem i faced bfore when i was making a rom and the problem was not kernel related. hope i helped

Stock JB 4.1.1/4.1.2 ROM: Using a slim version of busybox (from gokhanmoral's ramfs for siyahkernel-sgs3), bash and nano binary, sysrw and sysro script removed. GPU clock @ 384MHz + 2D GPU rendering, stock ROM really need an overclocked GPU.
CM/CM based ROM: As usual, change ro.sf.hwrotation value from 270 to 0 in /system/build.prop will transform your device to landscape mode, a workaround fix for boot animation graphic glitch. GPU clock @ 307MHz + 2D GPU rendering + 16bit transparency + disabled dithering + purging assets allowed
/system/etc/init.post_boot.sh is yours kernel tuning template. But remember, do not force your system too much until you are sure that your device is able to handle it.
Flash this using the latest CWM, CWM Touch, Philz Touch, or TWRP at your own risk!

Yeah, android reserve RAM for itself, driver and co. Its the same thing with internal storage, i mean, when you have a 8 GB Tab than you have only 4,5 GB for yourself, the rest is for the system.

After installing such kernel.. Open any root explorer.. Go to system.. Change the permission.. There is a file with name BUILD.PROP.. open it in text editor and accordingly make changes..

OK guyz tested on slim from and it works very smooth.played temple run 2 and it lags to very negotiable extend.tablet doesn't gets heated.gonna try battery life.once again thanks ketut sir

yes I know that sungsonic is based on stock ROM, but developer modified, so I was not sure if flashing this kernel will break other stuff in sungsonic ROM. that's why I asked

I tried It with PSN>> Stock Rom >> and it's running good for now ... keep the good works

My feedback:
ROM is running smoother now, I'm using CyanogenMod 10.1, 22/04 nightly. All animations seems to be a lot smoother, powering the screen and turning it off feels a bit more responsive now, aswell touchscreen. Can't say about battery life because haven't used the tab a lot, but I can imagine that is better than never.

Installation Guide
I Recommend to have a nandroid backup and
use fresh stock firmware before flashing
Install A-DROID ROM:
Download A_DROID_ROM_FOR_GT_S6102_By_Wawan999_XDA.zip
Download ClockWorkMod (CWM)
Download iDuos Kernel 1.3.1
Put them in the Root of your SD Card not a Folder just ROOT
Switch off your phone
Go to Recovery mode by pressing Home+Volume up+Power Button
Use the volume keys to scroll Up and Down
Wipe DATA
Wipe CACHE
Choose Apply Update from SD card
Choose CWM-6102.zip
Wipe DATA and CACHE again via CWM
Go to Advance
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe Battery Stat
Go to Mount and Storage
Format Cache
Format Data
Format System
Mount System/Data and Cache
Press Back Button
Choose Install zip From SDCARD
Choose zip From SDCARD
THEN Select -> A_DROID_ROM_FOR_GT_S6102_By_Wawan999_XDA
Choose “yes”....
Wait for installation to be finished
After that Reboot your Phone
Install KERNEL iDuos:
Switch off your phone

I present to you Vivo ROM v3 ported from the Galaxy Y by PureDevs Team!
It is a mix between KitKat and Holo Blue, unique UI, Good Looking and has the speed of CM7.2!
Based on @biel.tv Unofficial Cyanogenmod 7.2

Requirements:
A Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i/M/C/9i
CM7 Specific Kernel
Installation:
Do a Backup in CWM just in case!
(RECOMMENDED) Be on a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner
Download THIS EXT tool, the Kernel and the Rom.
Flash beil.tv's temp. CWM.
When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so whole system will be converted to EXT4. (Stock filesystem is RFS)
After the installation, the CM7.2 Specific kernel you have downloaded before.
When the Kernel is installed, go, on the CWM, to advanced --> reboot recovery (this will reboot the device, and turn it on on the new CWM of kernel)
Wipe data, cache and dalvik
(IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and make sure system is mounted (will show unmounted), if it shows unmounted, click it twice, to make sure!
Go to install zip from SD Card, choose zip from SD card and install the ROM. (MAKE SURE installation last more than 5 seconds, if is less than 5 secodns, your system is unmounted! repeate step 8).
After installation, go back and reboot system, if you made it good, ROM boots, so no problem on it

Screens provided here is the same of the Original ROM for Galaxy Y.... It's not from Galaxy Ace-i running this port. OP, Please provide the screens from Ace-i. I'm the member already ported this one to Ace (Cooper) and I've faced LDPI-MDPI resolution issues with Statusbar. If such issues exists we can solve it together.... :laugh:

After install Gallery can't open, i find and install Gallery.apk in system/app-> it work. But when istall Jellybean keyboard in system/app it get force close
