Hi everyone,
I hope this is the right place to ask -- maybe someone has the same problem and has maybe even found a solution.
The problem is that when I try to post photo on a Facebook timeline or group using the official FB app, then choose to add a location, I only get the message that no locations are found. When I use the location checkin feature instead of taking a photo, I get a correct list of locations -- thus in general it works, but just not in a photo context. Curiously, when I clear the FB app data or uninstall and reinstall it, it works for a short time before showing the same issue again.
The problem only seems to occur on CM9 (the nightlies and now 9.0 final). On CM7 it worked fine and again on CM10 alpha.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks,
S.

Hey guys,
Everytime, I reflash or lose everything on my galaxy s, I have to punch in my gmail account details, and every time in my photo gallery there would a a "folder" called drop box. I do not really remember if I did create a drop box account, but yet there seems to be photo there. Is there any where I would be able to check my settings for my dropbox account?
Piccasa also shows up and I know that is linked to my google stuff.. but is drop box linked to google as well? Because I tried to log into dropbox.com using my google account and it says that there is no such account yet, my gallery shows a picture, I supposedly put into drop box?
It's probably a folder on you SD card with a picture in it and the media scanner has found it and the gallery displays it.
Yeap just checked.. the folder was named dropbox and it was on my picasa account of all places.. sorry to have wasted xda's time.
Help
Hi, I am facing the same problem. but i unable to fix it. and i couldnt find the source of the photo. please help
Wow... was going to post something like this...!
But this time its on my Note 2...
Would really appreciate if someone could explain more about this...[ im surprised this issue had already happened more than 2 years ago]
I want to know how it appeared all of a sudden...
and im 100% sure I do not have a dropbox account.
well this isnt a problem to me...i can just delete the album.im just curious how it magically appeared all of a sudden...any chance this is a bug?
Would someone please re-post this in Kaijura's dev thread for me?

I would post this on the thread but since I'm a new member I'm unable to do so.
I have a strange bug occuring since trying out the latest ICS.8.3 after a full wipe.
This video demonstrates the issue.
When scrolling in Gmail, on any message, the content will disappear.
Apologies for the sideways video, the filehost forces letterbox on their playback tool. You can download it to view it vertically if you need to, but I think you get the idea anyway.
Same issue here
I feel your pain bro. I had same issue. I have 2 gmail account linked generally . tried removing one, even then face the same issue. Moved to We want ICS ROM.
i have it sometimes, normally it helps to close the app with holding the back arrow (remember to activate this feature in rom control) and also kill it in your recent app (holding down your home button).
i even have this issue sometimes in the facebook app
give it a try, icecoldsandwich is a really amazing rom
Hey guys,
once again, gallery app issues. Even on JB, my gallery does not display my Google+ albums - and I have no idea why. Right now, I also have a Nexus 4 here, which does this without any issues and right from the start. I don't think I'll swap it for my Razr i, cause the battery on the Nexus is much much worse, and (compared to the Razr i) it's huge.
The weird thing is, the option "make available offline" in gallery settings is there, so it seems like Google+ albums *should* work.
Am I the only one with this issue?
Is it possible to try the vanilla google gallery app, or is that a no go because of the different hardware architecture (x86 etc)?
- hendrik
AFAIK we already have the vanilla Gallery app, just compiled for x86 but the app itself is the same vanilla app as on ARM.
Thanks for the info!
Am I the only one with this problem, or is this regular behaviour on the Razr i? If I'm the only one, it's probably not because of the app itself at all. Anyone?
I noticed the current Google Gallery APK to be much bigger than ours, so it might be quite a different one - why can't I just install that one? Does anybody know? It says "couldn't be installed" when I try.
Nope, I have this issue, too. I haven't really looked into fixing it, but I'll keep an eye on this thread.

The MegaPack that is offered in the development thread fixes this by installing the original gallery app and camera app. Unfortunately it's not working for me yet as I'm using the home made fastboot that already incorporates the SD card patch. With the MegaPack the storage manager crashes because it is trying to find /storage/sdcard1, which isn't there.
Hi,
When I start Google goggles the screen gets stuck on the first frame the camera sees. This is without me taking a picture or anything, it sticks to the first frame when the camera starts. The rest of the app works fine, I can close it, open settings, ... it doesn't completely freeze. When I open the settings window and close it again, the screen sticks to the first frame after closing the settings window.
All my other camera apps works fine, it's only related to google goggles. I didn't have this problem with the CM 10.1 20130707 build. I tried to reinstall the app, reboot my phone,... I searched for similar problems but didn't find anything helpful.
So does anyone has the same problem ? Is it a bug in goggles or a CM 10.1 bug ?
and what's wrong with posting in discussion thread?

Me not seeing the most obvious place to post my question... I will make a post in the appropriate thread, sorry.
Hello
Since updating to LineageOS 19.1 I no longer receive notifications from the calendar app. The notification only appears after I open the calendar app. Does anyone know the problem and can help me solve it?
Many thanks
Found this thread, says apps such as cleaner master can cause such an issue.

I have the same problem. One thing to try is long press on the calendar app and tap the "i" to see the app info. Make sure that alarms are allowed (at the bottom) and also try changing Battery to "unrestricted".
I have the same problem in a Pixel 4a (sunfish). I was going to open an issue at Gitlab, but haven't been able to narrow the focus. Last week I got a notification (right on time), while I was on a phone call. However, I can't figure out when it works (almost never), or why.
As you said, sometimes I get old notifications (24+ hrs old) while working on the calendar app.
There's another issue with Calendar. It crashes when you try 'search'. I saw this on Gitlab. That can be fixed by installing the FDroid version of Etar 1.0.30. However, notifications aren't fixed by using that version. I tried.
I just changed Battery from 'Optimized' to 'Unrestricted'. I don't have much hope, though.
I'll post if that helps.

Changing battery to "Unrestricted" made the difference for me. I've not missed a calendar notification since the change. Thanks for this.
However, is this a bug? Should it work with battery 'Optimized'?
BTW, you might consider having this discussion within the official LOS19 thread.

Yes, this method seems to be working for me as well. May be good to mention it in the LOS19 thread. It is sort of a bug in design if anything. Since the calendar app may not be accessed much or have constant reminders, it might not be given high priority in the optimization.
Thank you for that information. Will try that with changing battery to "Unrestricted".
Thank you! Everything now works perfectly!
