I believe that many of the altar of Your Droid 3 friend is to brush CM9! Mobile phone unicom will prompt process "com. Android. Phone" has stop running. Here to teach you a simple solution.
1.again wipe cache/dalvik 2.*#*#4636#*#* Choose GSM (PRL) into the system Settings > wireless and network > > > more mobile network> wait back to dialing interface, the first time or process "com. Android. Phone" has to stop running.
Good luck!!!
Try a different build.prop.

Situation: unable to use data plan. Data option has been enabled, 2g/3g doesn't matter. Tried restarting multiple times and installing various apps. Including taking out the battery and sim card.

What fixed it for me
Hi There
I had fumbled myself to make a change to the APN settings to fix it
Go Settings -> Wireles & networks -> Mobile network settings -> Access point Names
Then I press the menu button and choose Reset to default
After that it worked again
Cheers
Kurt Skjold
Same for me.
I fixed it by creating a fake apn, switch to it and then back on the real one...

A friend of mine just got the revolution. He is brand new to any smartphones. I searched on here but came up with endless threads that didn't answer my question. His battery life isn't that great. We both work 12hr days without being able to charge the phone all the time. So I had him turn off various functions like Bluetooth and gps. Is there a way to turn off 4G? I can on my EVO but didn't see an option on his phone. Thanks

1) Go to the phone settings menu
2) Wireless & networks
3) Mobile networks (scroll to the bottom)
4) System select
5) Network mode
6) Choose CDMA Only
7) Reboot
That should do it...

The easiest way is to get the free apply DataSwitch. Just click it yo turn it on and off

Maybe i'm just a bit off topic but I use a combination of apps to get great battery life.
1. (Watchdog) keeps track of data hogging apps and allows you to decide how it alerts you and what to do with those apps.
2. (AutomateIt Pro) lets you set rules to decide what apps and services are active and when along with countless other options.

Both can be found in Android Market with far better explanations on how they work...

Good, thanks!
I have a Galaxy 9000 (epic 4g) that is running CM9, it has been flashed to cricket. I am trying to get my mms working. Where do I find in the menus the settings for the apn ? ? Thank You !
Setting > Wireless & Networks > More.. > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Go to setting > more > mobile networks > access point names > whatever your on" make sure you save with menu button before leaving.
Oh and my quick tip, remove the value in proxy field and you get NO ADS on mobile networks. You might need ad block paired with that, but try it anyway

I can get as far as Setting > Wireless & Networks > More.. > Mobile Networks >
but in that menu I only have the following options.
Data Enabled
Data Roaming
National Data Roaming
System Select
any more ideas ? ? ? ? ?
oh and BTW I am a noob. Am I missing something ? Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks again
Does anyone recall the setup codes like ###956### etc in order to enter a menu to change network settings like constantly lock on 4g etc
I believe the code you're looking for is *#*#4636#*#*

Not sure that works in ICS -- this app does it very well, however --
*#*#4636#*#* still works on ICS
When I try to change my "Preferred Network," it will not allow me to select: (GSM, WCDMA, LTE Auto); it remains on GSM, WCSMA.
Why can I not change it? I'm running Viperone 3.5.
Access Preferred Networks: Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Mode.
Thanks!
*#*#4636#*#* , go to phone information, scroll to the bottom and try selecting your preferred network mode from there.

I did that but my selection will stay - it will not save.

FYI, you're in the Sprint HTC One forum. Your previous posts are jumping around between the AT&T One and unlocked international One forums, which version do you have?
