Where do you get adobe flash player for the Note, it dissapeared from market. I guess after adobe stopped supporting flash. Is there any chance to get somewhere else?
Thank you for advice.
I got it installed from the market yesterday
Search it in the market using your computer

does anyone know of a good app that replaces the old iMusic app? I use to love downloading songs from iMusic but its no longer available in the market so I want to know if there any other mp3 downloading apps out there for our phones. Yes I know I can just connect my phone to my pc and move music through that but I like the simplicity of just downloading them directly onto my phone.
You can still get imusic from their website. Its just not on the market anymore. The site explains why.

Ive gotten a ton of free mp3 music from the "Mp3 Download" free app.
Seems to have as good a selection in hard rock genres I like as IMusic does.

i haven't had any problems with nay movies/videos...
Using MX video player (the free version) & it seems to play almost anything i want.
I think maybe cuz I don't have 1.7gb available but are all movies that large

Maybe the player is telling you that it can't use HW decoding for video???
Sometimes using MXvideoplayer is uses SW decode, but as long as i'm not watching a hd movies it's ok.
It's a problem when you try to watch a 720p movies without using HW decoding..
It plays laggy; but generally it's a question of avi's codec that aren't decoded by our cpu..
Download qqplayer and everything will be fine.

Flashing Movies and How? Am I the only one who doesn't know what a flashing movie is?
Surely you must know if you have enough drive space to copy a movie across.
I use MXplayer to play vids. Works flawlessly even when the phones got tTorrent running which is extremely taxing. I rarely use the phone to watch movies besides on extended bathroom visits. Usually stream them to WDlive player using Twonky mobile if I couldn't be bothered copying them over. (All free versions btw)
@itsbeertimenow I tried qqplayer and was out of sync on mkv's.
I'm still trying to figure out the "flashing movies" bit

Hello I have been looking everywhere on the internet and XDA but could not find this one small solution.
I've seen the question being asked but in desperate quest the answer couldn't be found.
So...
Where does one get adobe flash player for GT-I9000?
I've installed slimICS and that's got something to do with it. Adobe don't want any device running above android 4.0 to have it, right?

Have you... Tried on the Play Store? Cheers!
Been trying for about two days to get this working, was really annoying me that when i got the nexus 7, i could not use i player.
So here it is for the others that are having problems with it.
Install the two apk's attached.
If you have been trying to get it working with other versions of iplayer and flash, please go into app manager and clear the cache and data of these apps before opening them.
go to apps and launch i player and enjoy.
No need to use other browsers now.
just installed those files, working well. thanks.
Nice one cheers

I have installed BBC iPlayer and flash player and cleared the data like you said but when I open BBC iplayer chrome opens up and says I ned to update flash. What should I do thank you
Simple indeed but The picture quality is a bit crud with this method _ if u install flash and Firefox or dolphin mini and set to desktop user agent you can just go to the iPlayer website and select and the stream adjusts to your bandwidth and you can view the HD streams too! You have to put up with the flakiness of flash in a browser but you can still watch in glorious techno vision.

Works great, but couldn't get dolphin to work with flash and Firefox isn't compatible,so I'm really grateful for this until we get an official app.

Fantastic all working.

Edited: I meant to say use the Firefox beta from play and then set request desktop - then go to normal iPlayer website.
So far is most stable way to get high quality viewing and HD options. HD stuff looks awesome - other versions just look poo in comparison.
If u want to show someone iPlayer on N7 then the above is the easiest and best imo

Funny thing that, im no expert here, but when i wiped the Nexus and re installed the i player and flash as i said above, i got the same thing. Perhaps someone with more knowledge could explain. But also i Rooted the device and set the dpi to 160 for tabley mode before i installed. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I installed Firefox Beta from the play store, it works if before going to the iplayer site you set it to Desktop mode.
Nice one, works a treat!

That's because here in the UK we pay a hefty licence fee for the privilege.
I was using firefox beta + sideloaded flash, but will give this a go. Thanks OP.
......I finally got it to run on the default internet app. But all other browsers fail to run flash.
I installed an older version to get it to run on the default browser btw.

I just sent them an email asking about YouTube in particular. Dolphin plays the video, but no picture; I can only hear the audio. I've tried in many user agents same thing. YouTube plays fine on chrome....

Chrome doesn't use flash plugins so any videos viewed would be HTML5.
Boat Browser is another that still supports Flash Player.
~ Sent from my HTC One running ViperROM One using Tapatalk 4 beta
I'll try that then. The stock browser is to plain even tho I have the flash player working on there
Sent from my HTCONE using xda app-developers app
Right, but according to YouTube, everything has, or almost has been converted to HTML5, yet Dolphin doesn't play any video.... I can't imagine I've only tried the ones that are still only in flash format....
