HELP i cant recieve calls after flashing new kernel !!!

hi today i flashed FXP new kernel and for some reason i cannot recieve any incoming calls :S i can text out and get texts and i can call out this is wierd i have checked the kernel and it should allow me to recieve calls but its not nothing to do with kernel as its fine. i cant flash with SEUS or pc companion or flash tool i have flashed over 10 diff back ups and nothing
okay so i finally got flash tool to flash stock rom. But after flashing it just refuses to turn on not even charging it works nor if i take battry out and plug it back in whilst holding the power button. and it will not go into flash mode. from my side of things it has bricked no way back for it now unless blagus or fxp can enlighten me on a way to recover

It seems you have the first bricked phone due to bootloader problems..
If so, as of now only SE can help you..
Try taking the battery out for at least 15 secs.

Try to reflash baseband,maybe it'll help

Truer absolutely everything refuses to turn on fails flashing because it has no flash mode no power nothing
Refraze that I'm gana try something ill post progress very soon but it goes into flash mode but for like half a second a d even if day flashing starts it fails even of I keep hold over bk button

Was the battery low when u flashed it back to stock by any chance?

Paul1989, can you charge the battery in another phone? It seems it's discharged and the phone is not charging it.

Buy another x8, use it's battery and when u r done return it

okay so i finally got the phone to turn back on after about 3hurs of trying to flash anything i could ,baseband,kernels stock rom, nothing worked for hours untill i gave it 1 last try and it turned on but !! it does not get pastr sony logo. i have flashed new basebands kernels roms the lot and NOTHING i do can gt it past this f**king logo :'( i will update with progress later but it seems because i unlocked my boot loader and then straight after i unlockerd with the omnius tool that something has gone seriously wrong
OKAY people my friend got my phone back on but it cost me just under £30 lol but im glad

The fact that the phone is on is a good sign have you tried restoring the bootloader to its locked state it may fix your problem just have to make sure you've got the original kernel just have to go into s1tool and press restore

have tryed this i get only ERROR. think it because i dont know what the last thing i flashed to it was lol. i have tryed to restore so many times. just will not work but i have got a friend with riffbox so i have called him and he has picked it up to see if he can get it on again. hopefully he has because i need to see if my kernel has bugs ect and check everythings working on it . will let you all know tonight when he brings it back.

Hard brick?

I want to know do i have hard brick?
I flashed alfs8a gdx and stuck on bootanimation....i take the battery out put it back and then no sign of lives....battery almost empty....later i tried with friens battery and nothing.
So i am interested in:
How much is new battery for x8 and how much for repairing(changing motherboard) ?

If the kernel logo appears then its not hard brick.Reflash the kernel or the other kernel.Might work

Bro,
I had similar issue before.If u still have vibrate or LED flashed(green or red)after push power button then its not hard brick.Its batt mess up & its not gonna to work even exchange with other battery.What I do is>put it on charging>go to sleep>wake up next morning & tadaa..its normal again.

charge the cellphone for a while and see whats happen,maybe your out of battery men,it cant be a hardbrick only for flashing a custom kernel

How about putting the USB connected on the phone pressured upwards...
Maybe the cord of the charger is broken...

Today in school i tried to turn it on with another xperia x8 battery and nothing....
EDIT:I think i have either Coma brick or Hard brick

Its coma brick, connect charger and wait one day

Try it & u will know the result

I think its not a hard brick cz flashing kernel aint bick you phone..
Try to plug your phone with charger for one hour and see if the led is working.

Try to get your phone in flash mode using your frnds battery and if it is possible then flash it using a stock kernel available in xda(ftf file) o using PC companion...
Then it will work completely and you can charge your battery if its working..

I'm pretty sure you can use SUES without a battery present to flach back to stock rom/kernel. Give it a go, it will either work or it won't but if i recall I have done it before.

yesterday i try to uptode my LgP990 to 2.3.4 but i failed.
phone locked on s/w upgrade please wait while upgrading.
worse my telephone ran out of battery and it wont open again how much i try to charge it.
what should I do???

Just plug it in wall charger...or to a computer. It will charge.

if you think ur battery is charged enough...first try to enter into CWM(if your phone is already rooted)by pressing power+volume down buttons and you can restore if you have a backup.if not, flash a custom ROM or try an upgrade with LG tool one more time
incase nothing is working...try this...it is for devices which are bricked....

I tried but did not.i could charge it before update.Whatever happened after that was. AND I AM NOT A DUMB !!!!!!

i tried it before battery ran out but i could not.The thing that i do not understand why I can not charge it.i didnt broke sth in it or fall on the ground.Is software failure does not charge it? :/

my desire C is pricked i was using facebook when it ran out of battary so i put it on charge and went for like 10 minutes came back the battery icon was not there thought my charger is broken so went to work put on the other charger nothing i tried to fix the hardwere nothing is wrong with them .. i connect it to the pc u can hear the connection sound but shows as unrecognized device tried to go to recovery mode didnt work im super lost and super pissed please can anyone help i repeat its not a hardwere thing ..

His device is giving black screen and hard keys and soft keys are not responding when battery removed gives same symptoms no life when connected to a pc it reads it but not recodnize it please be kind and post a soloution here

There might be something wrong with the phone as it is not rooted.. If you still have warranty why not take it to the center..?

Have you tried hboot. If that works flash a custom Rom

He said his display is gone. He cannot even get get to recovery mode. So flashing a rom is not possible. His computer is not recognising the phone so something is definitely wrong.. And it's not his fault as it is not rooted. These things just happen..

Sorry for the wrong section but i want a fast answer because my phone is almost gone
I have a problem with the charger ... it connects and disconnects frequently ...
I need to put the phone in a bizar pozition for it to charge.
Whatever...
I went to the store where i bought the phone to fix this problem.
But , it has cm10.1 installed and they say they can fix the problem only if i have the stock installed and 0 counter bin..........
I come home and try to flash stock via odin...
The USB works the same way as charger.
And while flashing I move accidentaly the phone...
And now is 0% battery and is not charging.......
I can't even open it...
What should I do?
Is there any chance to return it to stock?...
If not what mid-range phone did you suggest me?
I look for a s2 plus or a nokia lumia 520...

I have a problem with the place where the charger is putting...
And while i want to install 2.3.6 via odin and remove the usb at 65%....
It couldn't charge... because it has teoretical no software..

so.. you can use odin or not?

As i said... nope..
The phone doesen't turn on...
When i flash 2.3.6 via odin it fails
And the charger (the place where you put it) is massedup.........
I was thinking if i can give my battery to a friend with the same phone to charge my battery and then trying to flash again...

Okay, the problem is the horrid usb port some sgm 2 series have, just go to the shop, tell them to replace your usb port. Its not a charger problem. Then feel free to flash cm again, because its the best

Dude, its completely fking irrelevant whether you have official or not, for usb port replacement it doesnt matter. Go to another service if they keep telling you bull$hit

It is relevant because guarranty does not apply if you don't have the official software, it doesn't matter what needs to be changed, you need to fulfil all the requirements for the guarranty to apply.

So.. i'm back !
I bought a new usb cable and a battery and flash 2.3.6 but with no wipe (via odin)
So the phone does not turn on (stuck at samsung logo) because i had 4.2.2 (cm10.1)
And I tryied to go to cwm (flashed via odin) to wipe and flash again 2.3.6
But it won't open.
Not even official recovery turned on ...
I tryied cwm / twrp but no chance.
Any helps how to enter into recovery??

My guarranty is back !
