And when I power on device with external power supply it shows the booting screen and then slowly everything fade
I let the battery die once then put it on charge suddenly it booted up and worked for an hour after that dead again

GT-P1000 suddenly switching off. Must be some sort of hardware battery controller problem. Had the same issue until yesterday. Openned the tab and disconnected battery as per youtube video. Connected it back after several minutes. Now problem is gone and tab is functioning perfectly.
Best regards from Russia.
Hi!
I've had my phone on a custom ICS ROM for quite a while now and for some reason the phone was giving me problems so I tried to go into my Safe System but the screen is just black. I'm pretty sure I installed a ROM on it a while ago but there is a chance I did not.
When I plug the phone into the computer I can't turn it on all I see is the white light.
When I plug it in to the outlet then I see the Bionic Logo and then I see the Safestrap Safe System Enabled. If I touch Search or Menu (or nothing at all) the same thing happens: It goes away to a black screen. The only way to turn It off is to take out the battery with it unplugged from the wall charger or hold down the voume down + power button for a while.
It won't turn on any way other then being plugged into the wall outlet charger..
How can I fix this / start fresh and reinstall a rom? I can't do the thing where I boot into the options by holding the volume buttons and the power button, either. Nothing happens when It's not plugged into the wall outlet (or white LED when plugged into the computer)
I also left it on the black screen for a few hours just to make sure It was charging, If it was at all.
Thanks for any help in advance..
What version of safe strap are you using. Try version 3.05 if your not using it. I had the same problem before and this fixed that issue on ICS.

How can I do that.. (I can't get into FastBoot)
You'll have to install it on your custom ROM if you can access safe side.

Sorry to sound like a noob but, I installed all of this a long time ago and followed a specific tutorial.
So I don't know what you mean.. on the SD card?
I went to a Verizon store and found a lady who worked there with a Bionic and she charged my battery for me, and then I could get into recovery.
Thanks for your help though!

i hv noticed this in every pacman rom that it takes too long to boot...i have to wait for atleast 2 minute to completely boot...after that also it takes 1 or 2 minute more to load the homescreen...is there any fix for that.???
Is there anyone who is facing the same problem..???

Everyone will face this issue with this Rom. The time it takes for it to load depends on how much crap is loading when you start your phone which as you know pacman has a lot of mods like viper Rom . There are a couple of things you can do to speed things up providing you know what you're doing. You can disable the splash screen, overclock set on boot (don't recommend ), make sure you're not dexing on boot, uninstall any useless apps that fire on boot and free up any internal storage you can. Otherwise I might suggest not restarting your phone as up times of several weeks are easy to achieve

I don't think you can disable Splash screen lol. I think you mean disable the bootanimation??
also after disabling bootanimation it takes almost the same time to boot
Sent from my Incredible S using Tapatalk 2
Yeah I meant boot animation but you prolly shaved a 4 seconds off the boot time. Try the other items mentioned.

Booting Problem
On my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 (YP-G70) after flashing the ROM and the US kernel and GApps, I left it overnight and it was still booting. (approx. 8 hrs.) Any fixes? (I flashed it back to CM 11 due to lack of patience)
Thanks,

Hello,
I've got a HTC One s-off with Inside Coin cfw and touch recovery.
Every now and then my phone shuts completely off without shutting down, its complete off.
If I press the power button it boots mostly correct but every now and then it shows the loading rom screen or just the HTC One screen and shuts off again.
Could this be an failure of the phone/battery itself from falling down or could it be a software problem?
Right now it doesn't even starts if I press down power for over 10 seconds - need to wait some time or put it on the loading cable.
Have you had that issue on other roms? Are you running a custom kernel?

I didn't tried other roms yet, no custom kernel so far.
Right now I don't get a light on the screen or the orange loading light on the loading cable.
Computer did find an Android device for short time but black screen on the phone.
You should test another Rom to see if your battery is faulty. But before you do... I need to know:
When you manage to boot completely, what does your battery meter or stats say?

I had 31% and I just wiped and installed the newest version of Inside Coin
While in titanium backup the phone shut off again and won't start right now.
I put it on the loading cable for the night and will see if I get it going tomorrow.
It could be the battery. If it happens that it goes from 100% to nothing within jus 20-30 min, then it is broken. Happened to me.

Okey just fully charged, plugging out, shutting off my alarm clock and browsing through sense - phone off.
Short push on power and right after HTC Inside it shuts off again, but with power button and Vol- I can get into recovery, Hboot 1.44 without anything happend.
/edit
What does it mean when back and home button are blinking?
You are doing a hard reset / force off the phone. If it means anything other than that I don't know.

I finally got my phone on again (after 6 hours) and battery says 80%
Should I try CM10.1/CM10.2 instead of Inside Coin and/or maybe another bootloader? My HBoot is still 1.44 and CWM 6.0.3.1
Any you like. Remember to check md5. If you wish u can upgrade hboot too.
