I believe you flashed it over GB (2.3.6)... dont worry... just go back to recovery and wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik and flash the rom again.
It wont ask you the password again.

Just copy them to efs folder and you will be all set...
1. Delete your efs folder with root explorer
2. Reboot
3. Copy imei folder and nv_data.bin to /efs. Override if necessary.
4. Delete nv_data.bin.md5
5. Reboot
6. Profit

Omg people to avoid losing your imei first from GB (if you're coming from it) flash CM9 from their site, and THEN flash any jellybean ROM! No problems will appear there.
DONT JUMP FROM GB TO JB -_-

Thanks for your help guys, imei is back and jelly bean working fine now

Then use root explorer or any other similar app and copy files nv_data.bin and nv_data.bin.md5 from your efs backup file and paste them in the folder efs.
Efs backup is in the sdcard folder and efs folder is in the root directory.

Hi there,
Are you still able to go CWM? if you are still able to, make a Nandroid backup, wipe dalvik cache and cache partition and reboot recovery and system and check if your phone's able to bypass the Samsung log after. Give it a time as well to wait.. perhaps 10 mins or so.
By the way I'm just curious, what did you do to make your phone stuck to it's samsung logo in the first place?
still same prob
Thanks for the quick reply yes im still able to go to cwm 1. wiped dalvik 2. wiped cache partition 3. rebooted recovery and system
still phone's unable to bypass the Samsung logo
i just flashed call recorder zip from cwm after that im facing this problem pls help me
Can you post call recorder thread link you tried to flash?

Try installing the main rom you had without doing "wipe data/factory reset", but with dalvik cache and cache wipe.
ok, I am not pro enought to figure out what's happening in zip.
Id recommend factory reset on safe kernel, or reflashing rom, then reflash safe kernel.
Considering I have no clue on zip, a clean install might be called for. On safe kernel and safe kernel recovery a format system/data might be needed to fully clean this stuff out. But I am not sure about that.
Why do you need call recording anyway?
edit: all at own risk ofc

Hi Guys,
I wanna delete everything from my phone but I've got some questions. I know you can use the factory reset but if I do use that method, will I loose root? I don't wanna go through the hassle again of rooting my phone although it's quite simple. Reasons for why I wanna delete all data from my phone, I wanna delete all files that I don't even use, small datas etc. So is there a way? Yes I know I'll do a backup first before anything else

In recovery format cache data sdcard system and preload .
Phone now wiped clean but not root/ recovery .
You have no OS and will need to flash a stock rom via odin or your custom rom .

This is simply a restore from TWRP backup, so I think it will only affect /system, /data, /cache if you don't check others. Sdcard and External SD should stay remain. Anyway I'm still downloading...

No,it won't boot since you don't have LP bootloader. LP rom won't boot on KK bootloader.
Warning to users- You may brick your device if you tinker and flash LP rom on variants other than C . Experiment on it if you have proper knowledge because a user already lost his imei flashing it. And yes, just wait for day or two,LP will arrive soon to every varaints. Don't risk your device in over anxiety.

Go in recovery, wipe data and cache, then go to "mounts and storage" and format /preload. If it fail to format it, then unmount /preload and try to format it again and flash cm11.
Did you try this?
Go To Download Mode,
Flash Your Mobile Back To 4.1.2 make sure you repartition )
Root it , & then install CWM,
Format system, cache, data, dalvik
Go to advanced format, & then format everything except SD card & USB Storage.
& then install ROM )
It would defo work, sometimes your data remains in your mobile, which makes error )
If need any other help,
Feel free to PM me )

Md5 mismatch mean that the file is corrupted. Search on google for " md5 checker" and check the cm12 size and compare it to original md5. Then try to flash it again (repeating the correct flashing procedure, wrote in cm12 thread) , or if you want to go to stock jb 4.1.2 use ODIN program to do that, there are guides in general section of our phone forum, i don't have much time to write it or to search it and share it, but you can find it for sure.
