what is coffeemaker driver? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I found some guys discussing about coffeemaker driver on a thread... I don't understand what it means. Can anyone tell me what it is? And what if it is included in a build. How is it used? I'm a noob and unable to post this question in that thread... Looks like I need to have at least 10 posts before posting in some development thread.
Thanks,
Kiran

OMFG! You really don't know? This driver makes your sgs do cofee for you.
Common you didn't get it? it was a joke!

Höhö.
This is real humor! Real.
You don't deserve to have a smartphone.

if this guy isn't trolling a triple facepalm pic would suffice
or his sarcasm meter needs replacment

I'll clear it again, coffee naker driver a special driver laser for Samsung galaxy range phones (except the one which don't run cm/cm10) and some HTC phones. This drivers combined with the 'coffee or toffee' app that is being worked on by cm team can enabled functions like making coffee from our phone. The toffee function will come later this year when toffee driver is complete. If u want the support of these drivers on our non supported phones then tweet cyanogenmod team.

thanks

@Others who promptly replied and showed they are good enough in sarcasm, facepalm or whatever, thanks to you guys as well... God bless you guys

You guys who are laughing do come around as a bit ignorant. As it is possible for Android to connect to pretty much any adapted appliance you can think of (yes, the apis are there, you likely already know that too when you think about it), the funniest part of this is actually on those of you who think this is a good or even great joke.

Personally I look forward to the day my coffee maker can alert me (by sending a ping to my phone) that I need to fill up the water, or that I have an old capsule I forgot to remove in it. It's not something that will change my life, but it will be convenient.

And sorry to the OP if he felt bad, we guys like to do this stuff here on xda. Was just a joke, didn't wanted to make someone look stupid.

The story is like this: I decided to finaly root my HTC DHD. I came to work, turned on my computer, surffed to xda and on the front page, second post was "How to Root the HTC Desire HD".
XDA knew what I wanted and brought forth the relevent link.
So basically what I am saying is, Thank you XDA.

I suggest you first make sure it works for you too.
close your eyes, wish really hard and press enter to go to xda site. if you got what you wanted on to front page, you can upgrade your wish to silver star and buy the winning ticket.
I passed the trials, so I am shooting for a mega yacht now.

If it wasn't for his bulging forehead and her ugly face, that could actually be Brangelina.

Not to hate, but what is it doing here?

XDA is known for being the place for anyone who has enough brains to customize and tweak the Android or WP phone in order to make the full use of the phone, and not only use stock stuff and wait for updates.
Even when you press Ctrl+D ( bookmark the site ) it says Android and Windows.
So it is odd for me to see a forum for Icra...*clear throat*phone on XDA, and even being the first device forum on the list.
It does take you to another site and not stay on the XDA forum site as the other device forums, but I can't wonder as to what this supposedly phone... device... thing ( you get the point ), has to do of being shown on XDA's forums?

Shouldn't it than be on the bottom of the list instead of the top? or have a a link from the portal?
I'm just being petty about it. plus I'm bored of the internet.
And I have a co-worker here with me who has an Iphone, so I'm trying to make him mad for wasting money of such a thing.
For example, when he was not looking, I switched his SIM card to a blank T mobile SIM (we don't have that company here at all, son't ask where I got the SIM ). he didn't understand what is going on becasue when he checked for a SIM he saw that there is one installed. Iphone users... not bright.

*SPOILER ALERT*
Johnny Depp is a novel writer and that guy (i always forget his name - the "very very sneaky" guy from Mr Deeds) comes to him and claims Depp stole a story from him. Turns out Depp is schizophrenic and the guy is a personality Depp created that Depp eventually uses as a tool to murder his wife when he caught her cheating, and has no knowledge of any of it. Or something like that, it's been years since I saw it.

Searching Rom HTC port to X8

Hi all!
About 1 month ago I was looking for new Roma here in the "themes and apps" and I came across a very nice ROM and it was the HTC .... port for the X8.
I remember that it was Android 2.3.7 was only in English. Any of you remember him? I sought him here a few times, but none of it;/ been removed or what?
And notes, please do not write "search and find" such a thing to me is not needed if you do not know what's going on is not contagious. I would like to find such people who have seen the answer or the Rom ^ ^ I can even answer the same author of this rom
Thanks in advance.
No, it wasn't a port. Just an HTC themed ROM.

About me but gave me the answer after all;/ I am writing this port was not the motive, etc!
Can not you read? ehhh;/
hmm...., Porting ROM HTC to X8 ?
Soo you learn about Android Development and Kernel Development and you fiddle around with the kernels and it should work. ~.~
Maybe I would "read" better if you knew how to speak English! You know, there are better ways to solve a confusion than "Can not you read? ehhh;/".
Oh and guess what?! I used the search button and I found this ROM whos maker is exebreez. Maybe that's the one you're seeking. There was also another HTC themed ROM but it was deleted, I think.

IncS developers without IncS handset

We had lost lots of developers like Nik, l0st.prophet because of their handset upgrade. These guys are willing to work on IncS development but unfortunately they don't have handset. I have seen many people willing to donate money and even spare their handset for development work.
Looking all these, I have got one idea.
Can someone take initiative and provide remote access of his PC and IncS for development work to these incredible developers?
I am not software guy or developer. So, I don't know path forward...somebody needs to explore.
but if it is possible, we will be back again in the era of development.
Just to clarify, we have not Lost Nik he is just waiting for new device to arrive .Thanks again to the amazing fjordell.

Sorry guys,
I am also not aware how to access boot screen remotely.
But, I have seen many technical support with remote access, so I just wanted you guys to think and respond if feasible.
If you feel not possible, we can drop this idea.
If the phone is in fastboot and hooked to the computer, you could give full access to your computer, so someone could use it as if he was at your home. But, I fail to see the greatness of this idea.
I have an IncS and I like-it, but I'm a realist. This phone as had better days, and, soon enough, it will be time to jump on newer and better technology.

Geez, if you are trying to root a phone, which is hooked to a computer 3000miles away from your home, how the hell are you going to be able to press vol down + power to go in fastboot mode?
As for the howto root a monkey, I would have to ask my ex-wife.
