I ask this as I installed a new kernal hydrocore over cm9 kernal (LATEST) and it seemed to work fine but Today my phone so slow and sluggish. It said I didn't have to wipe anything but can it help to wipe anything? Some people say it does.
Cheers

hi guys i'm on 2.3.4 JVQ dedoexed custome from darky's webstie
i tried order and choas(it lags and glitch) and nova2 hd ( little lag ) alshpalt 6 (lags alot ) all the samsung galaxy s gt-i9000 user i asked they told me (nova2 and order and chaos works smooth with no lags )
i really like the rom its fast but it just seems not good for games
so guys i really want to play order and chaos with out lags
what is the best rom for games (for samsung galaxy s gt-i9000) ?
and also i dont want to overclock i want to stay on 1gh i dont like oc at all
so what is the best rom for games ??
waiting for ur replays
thanks in advance
The most games shouldn't lag even with 800MHz. Have you already tried a factory reset and wiping cache and dalvik cache (all three things via CWM)?

yes already did that
And if you reflash a Gingerbread-based stock-firmware with Odin including bootloader, but this time with PIT-file (512) and 'Re-partition' ticked?

How do you want to flash JVP and JVQ through CWM??
Or do you mean the kernel and Darky's ROM?

Hi did you guys find the solution already ? i also flashed darky's rom but i can play order and chaos from ver 10.1 not smooth but playable. then i flash H&F rom the game is smooth but theres a lot of time memorys being drained even if i use advance task manager if i click kill still the memory stays the same the only way to run the game is to reboot the phone. now im back on darky's 10.2 and flashed darkcore 2.9.3 jvq i think the game becomes very laggy and unplayable. ano one got solution or any other roms they might recommend thats fast like darky's btw did the wipe delvik, cache, even try reformatting the SD
i found the solution just flash the 10.2 RE darky edition and flash kernel 2.9.3 dark core everything smooth now = )
I'm using Onecosmic's Rc4.2 Rom, with Semaphore 0.91 Kernel, the phone is rebooting whille I'm in the middle of the conversation with someone on the phone.
Is there any soultion ??
Are you overclocking? I don't overclock and have been running that combo of ROM and kernel, with nova launcher or stock launcher since they were released with no issues. Even switched to several other ICS roms but always come back to this as it seems to be the best for me. If you aren't overclocking, don't have a different launcher or dialer I would try flashing again and make sure to do factory reset, clear cache, clear fallback cache and clear batiks settings. I usually do all of these before and after flashing just to be sure.

So I should cancel the overclock?
without it the phone is running a little bit slow, any soultion to cancel the overclock and keep the Sgs running fast?
Hi guys,
I was a bit confused about flashing and many questions stormed my mind.
Ok my current situation is like this --> I have a rooted galaxy note.
I am on stock ICS 4.0.4
I have kingdroid v3.0 and cynogenmod 9 with me.
I know basics of flashing and will be able to flash them.
My question is that,
Is kingdroid rom safe from the emmc chip bug?
Which method is safer- flashing through ext storage or through odin?
If kingdroid is unsafe, then is it really worth flashing CM9?
Thank you in advance.

Kingdroid is based on CM/AOSP right ?
In order to flash that you need to be on GingerBread, GB is safe from the emmc bug so you wont have any issues.
flashing through CWM or ODIN are at the same safe / risk level, Theres a chance you can brick your phone using either.
However, You will only get the brickbug if you are on a Stock ICS kernel, You shouldnt encounter this as you will be flashing from GB.
Just follow the instructions on the ROM thread and you will be fine.

I agree with the azzle.
Steps:
-Dowgrade to GB
-Flash the abyss kernel [which will also "install" CWM]
-Wipe and flash a rom...
-\0/
I dont know anything bout this Kingstuff, but CM9 is great, or paranoid rom if you want the tablet/hybrid mode stuff.

Anyone has any suggestions for any good roms...i want a good interface and a kernal which supports OCing.

Title says it all. I'm currently running CM9 rc1 and want to return to Samsung ICS. The last kernel I flashed was Abyss kernel, and I've reset my binary count with triangle away. My main reason is, as stupid as it sounds, I miss touchwiz and I haven't seen much improvement with cm9 over stock.

Here you go.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
I'm a newbie in this forum. and also newbie with android, especially with samsung galaxy note.
accidently, i succesfully super bricked my new smartphone, which is samsung galaxy note i bought about 2 weeks ago, samsung galaxy note officially ICS stock rom LQ2.
i'm not quite understand with this kind of rom.
after met samsung service center, and thanks to my "sweet" talk, they agreed to replace with new phone even though i got exclamation mark.
-----
and thanks to dr ketan, i rooted my samsung galaxy note once again using fast way + notecore v12 .. and thanks to chainfire who make triangle away.
-----
after i read some threads in general. i'm kinda intrested with custom rom such paranoid from imilka.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662802
but after i bricked my note last week, i'm kinda affraid to custom my note once again.
so I need your advice ..
i'm not understand with
DON'T flash FROM ANY SAMSUNG ICS OR ROMS BASED ON SAMSUNG KERNELS (my CM9, AOSP, etc) Flash any stock GB rom with odin / or any GB kernel [instructions] root device [instructions] and reboot into recovery once again before flashing this
Install Rom: http://d-h.st/I9m
Install HYBRID Gapps: http://www.paranoid-rom.com/index.ph...pps-hybrid.zip
Wipe caches, factory reset is a must if you're coming from another rom than CM9
If your statusbar is gone after the first reboot: longpress Powerbutton > Toggle Statusbar
Reboot and edit your Apps Dpi under Settings/Paranoid Settings/P.A.D. Hold the powerbutton to see the new fullscreen-togglebutton
ok now i want to ask :
my rom is official samsung ics + notecore v12 kernel. do i need to flash my note into stock gb rom? so if i need to flash into gb, which gb i must download ? dr.ketan give us an option to choose, directly rootable and non rootable directly. what is that mean?
which one should i choose ? and how about the kernel ? do kernel change after i flash GB stock rom ? or i need to change my kernel too ?
and if i need to flash other kernel ? which one is a good one kernel ? especially for custom rom like cyanogenmod9 or paranoid.
sorry for my bad english.
i need your advice.

And being a newbie, i HIGHLY SUGGEST you stay away from experimental roms.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:
Experimental ROMs are those ROMs which are not stable i.e. which are very buggy and have (sometimes) major issues.
Eg. Here and here
They say clearly that many things are not working.Don't flash these as a noob. We'll help if you run into troubles,of course, but its better to stay away until you learn more.
Anyways, I'd better say this before the lynching party gets here:

This is a PREVIEW : CyanogenMod 10 is nowhere near ready to be used as a daily driver (lots of features still have to be merged)""
