Is anyone aware of Themes & Animation for LG O4x, My question is that can we create more themes for the original Home screen, like the LG has given us the 4 original Themes.

If decompiled a theme and the structure is really simple I will try to make a program to create your own themes. I can't exactly tell how much time it will take maybe it will be finished already later next week.

Update:
Ok, compiled my first theme, works like a charm
Now the only thing left to do is write a wrapper application that allows to easily create the theme. Shouldn't be that hard. Maybe already today, but definently at the weekend.

Sorry, had a lot to do so I had no time for the project.
But the UI is done and I will now start to implement the compiling. I'll work on it today and tomorrow maybe it will be finished then.

I just wanted to let you know why there were no updates:
I returned my Optimus 4X HD and planned on ordering a new one, but then I heard the rumors about the Nexus 4 and decided that I'd prefer a Nexus over a locked LG.
So I'm very sorry, but I stopped the development and since I no longer own a 4X HD I'm not going to resume the development ever. (I can't test it so the development is simply impossible)
If by any chance the Nexus will fail my expectations I may return to the 4X and will continue the development but it's very unlikely

Lol. We probably are not gonna see that! Just think about it, it took lg almost one year to adopt to gb, so eta for ics will be launche-date plus approx 1y... just saying....

I wouldnt bet on that... lg never fail to disappoint, imo, I'd just rely on the assortment of custom roms we have here in the forums
and why are post like this in the dev section?

One thing they are good at is getting source out quickly.
Those multiple and endless threads about GB official are boring, boring....
If you want GB root your phone, install either CyanogenMod either one of the 20e leak modded ROMS and you've got it!
The only interest of official GB is official GB Sources to enable our great community devs to cook better ROMs !!!

Why this's Important?
There must be a strong collaboration between LG and Nvidia to create an update IceCream Sandwich.
We want Nvidia to release the source for our LG Optimus Dual, that we would release the drivers from nVidia Tegra2.
We therefore call for a strong collaboration between the two groups (LG and Nvidia) To release this in a short time, not doing as Gingerbread release after months of agony.
Complete waste of time.

Well, problem is that Nvidia is sitting on their binaries and is not going to release sources. So there is no further development of new drivers/binaries for ICS.
I have read that you can build ICS with a lot of work and the old binaries from Froyo/GB but it will not have a GPU accelerated UI.
So kicking Nvidias' and LGs' arse is neccessary for a nice CM9.

Won't help in getting hardware acceleration on our phone.

I really want to believe to be true.
Maybe I'm naive.
That the LG Optimus 2X is going to get Ice Cream Sandwich eventually is something that we know already. After all, the company itself made the announcement of an upcoming ICS update quite a while ago. However, we didn't have much information as to when the said update was going to be released... until today.
As stated by LG Mobile Singapore on Facebook, the LG Optimus 2X Android 4.0 update will start rolling out in Q3 of this year. In other words, there will be no Ice Cream Sandwich for LG Optimus 2X owners for at least another one and a half to three and a half months. Or at least not for those located in Singapore and the surrounding markets.
So there you go, folks: more evidence confirming that Android 4.0 updates can be painfully slow.

This updates should have come in the same time with the 2x but I have serious doubts now. We got no leaked update, we got nothing to make us think that lg is working on this device
ya we got no leaks, that was the biggest issue, eventhough leaks shouldnt happen, but they always do, see other devices
In Slovenia is confirmed ICS update for LG prada 3.0 next week but also confirmed version v20s for optimus 2x,so no ICS for O2X till end of year.
May be i guess LG declared as prada followed by 2x followed by 3d.
May be I could be wrong. But they will provide for sure

You do, you just haven't got it yet. It creeps up randomly. There are people who report 30+ hours of calling without any problems and suddenly the bug turns up. The CM10 ROM uses SU660 sources and the SU660's hardware structure is a bit different from the P990's, which leads to the mic just randomly shutting off at times.

This. Took about two weeks before I noticed I had it. Then I had to make a few important calls from work so I had to go back to GB.
