Just created an account so I could get some help with
[Rom] 8/23/2012 - LiquidSmooth *CM9* No-Kexec *V1.1* JMOD
Im running it but like angryjello the buttons at the bottom stay lit up killing battery.
also chargers dont seem to work if its a cheap cable and not very well if its not a wall charger.
also would like some more custom options like lock screens, menu background colors and notification bar colors also I liked the loading spiral thing from stock blur instead of the spinning circle is there anyway to implement that into the build?
sorry for all the questions and it being here but I have to get 10 posts
other than that I love this build thanks for all the hard work
Thank you
To get your bottom row capacitive buttons to fade off when the screen is off, make sure that your screen brightness is set to auto.

I notice the brightness gets much brighter once I visit the home screen, and stays that way. Bumping the power button on/off will show my "owner message" with the proper brightness setting, then when it hits the today screen, its really bright....
Also, I noticed the brightness button in the app launcher won't function either...
this is the version I am using:
Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722.HTCHome.Dir.With.Brightness.Fix.Updated.01OCT2007-schen.cab.zip
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
hi all.. currently using one or two apps such as diamond tweaks, sensorlock etc, but havent found a way to do this.
What i need is a way to turn off the screen completely (ie zero light) instead of dimming it. I know standby will turn it off, but this will also kill my apps.
Is it possible? Any apps/tweaks?
Subscribe, I have searched alot myself to do this but with no success
DiamOff from Montecristoff will fit your request
I use SPB Pocket Plus v4.0.2 which has a screen toggle option. With the Buttons plug in you can use a hardware button to activate the screen toggle.

Ok so i've got a rooted Nexus One... had it for about a week... messin around with some roms and I like Cyanogen. But while trying out the Desire port I noticed when you use the trackball to move between home screens pretty easily. Is there anyway I could do that with Cyanogen?
Yeah I really love this in Sense roms too, but the simple answer is no.
Android 1.6 has the "AdvancedLauncher" replacement that can hide the titles on home screen shortcuts and make them essentially invisible to trackball selection. This way, there is nothing for the trackball to highlight and it just jumps whole screens. I have not seen that on 2.x yet.
HelixLauncher has the option to hide text label now but it still allows the trackball to highlight icons, and this prevents the jump from screen to screen.
So far, you can only have this feature on a Sense UI rom. Personally, I'm rocking the Desire rom!
I am on Cy 5.0.6 and I can use the trackball to navigate through all my home screen pages
Hold down on the app drawer button. Flash cards will pop up, you can use trackball from there.

Oh dang I didn't even remember that! I'm not fully proficient with the new UI yet, I haven't had my Nexus too long. So that's another alternative.
I, however, prefer not to have any orange highlights on anything on the home screen at all. This is why I like the Sense way of doing it.

After doing all that I might as well just use my finger and flip normally between screens lol
I was just hoping there might be an app or something that I could just scroll left or right without worrying about going from icon1-to-icon2-to-icon3-to-icon4 THEN to the next screen and doing it all over again.
Hey everyone, all the sudden I get a yellow twirl burst on my phone every time i slide to unlock on my captivate. I think it is slowing my home screen down because I try to slide to a different screen and i have to wait until its done? Thanks Let me know!
updated: Its a yellow sun thing that moves for like a second and then a white thing that flashes real quick along the bottom. It is hard to explain but was wondering if anyone knew how to turn it off

Sounds like some 3rd party app - I don't know of anything on the stock OS that does this.
What have you installed on your phone?
The third party apps that it could be is beautiful widget, or weather toggle widget. Not sure about anything else, but I don't know if there was any other recent update on an application??
It's probably Beautiful Widgets, as it has an option to animate upon unlock. Try turning that off.
I'm wondering if there some ones that is good on modified Nav bar !
I've seen somewhere here on the Xda forum that it exists a nav bar that has glowing effect pulsating.
Ive search if there is one for the Xperia V LT25i
But i have not found one.
So i wonder if there is some one or even more then just one that can make the following nav bar effects :
Glowing lights different colors for each button.
When button is triggered the icon moves/shakes/explode and when it is pressed down (Not pressed and released) it Pulsates in different colors beginning with the buttons color off-cores.
When buttons triggered it plays a sound (not when hold down) [Optional]
If someone just can make the first one then i really would be glad if you can share it.
but i'm seeking at least buttons that pulsates when holding down and glows when not triggered... :good:
Oh.. one thing more ! the nav bar/buttons must be transparent !
Admin/Moderator can you move this thread to http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/help ???

Don't waste your time. Nobody is going to make that. Buttons that glow when not pressed require the screen to be on, and that would drain the battery in short time. Pulsating light effect buttons when tapped on are sort of possible. Best visible with invisible fingers.
