I'm wondering if there some ones that is good on modified Nav bar !
I've seen somewhere here on the Xda forum that it exists a nav bar that has glowing effect pulsating.
Ive search if there is one for the Xperia V LT25i
But i have not found one.
So i wonder if there is some one or even more then just one that can make the following nav bar effects :
Glowing lights different colors for each button.
When button is triggered the icon moves/shakes/explode and when it is pressed down (Not pressed and released) it Pulsates in different colors beginning with the buttons color off-cores.
When buttons triggered it plays a sound (not when hold down) [Optional]
If someone just can make the first one then i really would be glad if you can share it.
but i'm seeking at least buttons that pulsates when holding down and glows when not triggered... :good:
Oh.. one thing more ! the nav bar/buttons must be transparent !
Admin/Moderator can you move this thread to http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/help ???

Don't waste your time. Nobody is going to make that. Buttons that glow when not pressed require the screen to be on, and that would drain the battery in short time. Pulsating light effect buttons when tapped on are sort of possible. Best visible with invisible fingers.

Well then its just to exclude that function and just have the other ones...

I'm an amateur at all this I've managed to get my nook color rooted, and I've installed a few apps. I've tried softkeys, but I'm not 100% happy with the result. First it wouldn't start on its own after a reboot. I reconfigured it following some directions form another user, and it starts now, but it's still too "busy", with bars and buttons popping up all over.
ALL I WANT is an app or some way to configure a "back" button and "menu" button in the lower black bar where the clock, bettery meter, etc are? Any ideas?
Either that, or is there a way to turn off ALL THE OTHER FUNCTIONS AND DISPLAYS of softkeys EXCEPT the ability to go "back" when pressing the physical "N"/home button, which is how I have it now.
In the end, I don't want any "back" or "menu" buttons on the actual viewable screen except the lower black bar.
THANKS a million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not quite what you asked for but i remapped my volume keys for menu and back. works great for my needs. i control volume with a widget now.

hope this solves your frustrations with hotkeys.

Well, if all you want is a back button on the notification bar..... you have one. Not talking about the back button that appears on there either. Just swipe left on the notification bar and it should always work as a back button.
Other than that, there's an app you can try called Button Savior you can get from the Market. It has a small launcher button that appears on the edge of the screen. You can move it around a limited range as you see fit. It's not as complicated or as "busy" as Softkeys.
If you find the visible button not to your liking, you can try this modded version of Button Savior. The button is invisible. You can see where the button actually lies by switching to the Sense UI theme. Then back to the default or Froyo theme to make it invisible once more. The modded version of Button Savior can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=897253
I suggest you try the Market version of Button Savior first.
I'm going to second Button Savior. It hasn't let me down once

You don't have Softkeys set up properly..

I understand what you are looking for. I would like the same thing, but I do not believe there is anything out there for us..
I may end up remapping the volume keys myself.

With SoftKeys you can put the menu and back buttons in the notification area, since ver. 1.0.8 I believe. Then, disable the popper, and you are good to go.
This would be nice for the xoom something small with color, size, and theme customization. I would do it, but I've never made an application before.
nevermind i just found volume widget and its tablet friendly
Which one are you using? I searched "volume widget" and came up with a lot of results.
Thanks!
Stupid design of Software, I found very difficult to control the volume, 2 hard buttons are not enough, motorola~!!!!!

I love my xoom to death but i wish they would have work hard on this the first time instead of trying to destroy the ipad so quick. If they took time and got everything together they could have blown the ipad out of the water. lol
xoom, xooom
I love how you can tap one of the hard volume buttons and then drag the volume up and down on the screen.
You do realise, once you tap a hard volume button, you can "grab" the on screen volume and slide with your finger to control the volume...
It would be nice if someone would theme it for us...
volume control widget is what I'm using its not that great. I'm actually looking more for something that maybe is in the lower notification bar always there. Root is probably gonna be required for this mod.

yeah I noticed the on screen drag after the hardware button is pressed. I also found another volume widget that you could touch and it would bring up the stock on screen volume control for you to drag

Just created an account so I could get some help with
[Rom] 8/23/2012 - LiquidSmooth *CM9* No-Kexec *V1.1* JMOD
Im running it but like angryjello the buttons at the bottom stay lit up killing battery.
also chargers dont seem to work if its a cheap cable and not very well if its not a wall charger.
also would like some more custom options like lock screens, menu background colors and notification bar colors also I liked the loading spiral thing from stock blur instead of the spinning circle is there anyway to implement that into the build?
sorry for all the questions and it being here but I have to get 10 posts
other than that I love this build thanks for all the hard work
Thank you
To get your bottom row capacitive buttons to fade off when the screen is off, make sure that your screen brightness is set to auto.

For some reason, the onscreen Back and Home buttons now appear in the lockscreen in the black space where the navigation buttons normally go. The Recent Apps button does not show in the lockscreen; only Back and Home. Before it was just a blank space when viewing any lockscreen. These buttons have no response and not even a haptic feedback when being pressed. It was bad enough that the black space was there in the lockscreen. How I have two buttons that don't do anything.
I have a TL with stock AT&T Jelly Bean firmware, but it also occurs on the generic .140 firmware.
Has anyone else seen this happen on their Xperia T/TL/TX? Is there some known setting or other thing that makes these buttons appear?
The back and home buttons appear when the notification panel is opened. Else it is just an ugly black strip. The functions are basically to close the notification panel after it is pulled down. As far as I know there is no way to remove it unless you completely disable the navigation bar and enable Pie Controls like me. (Or some alternate soft buttons).
If in your case the buttons are always displayed.. it could be a bug.
please

Do you solved this problem with the home and back buttons? I have the same problem with my two xperia Z, I've tried everything and I can not fix ...
inclusive, makes whatsapp notifications may not work properly.
Of course you can help please let me know ...
What's the last app you installed guys? I read before with a similar case and it was due to Sony smart key app(or a name something like that).

Yes, that is the solution. Smart Key app keeps those virtual buttons on in the lockscreen.

is there no way to keep the app and let the navigation bar remain invisible on lockscreen ..
or any alt app ?
Not that I'm aware of. Hopefully someone will discover a solution at some point.
Indeed I was the one who mentioned this problem, I also tried to address this problem to sony to update there app. But no response. Pleas all of you go to the play store and address this problem. Maybe sony will hear us this time.

I don't know if this is a bug or not.. When I adjust my volume (no matter what screen I'm on) the volume bar comes up and the phone shows the home screen. When I'm watching a video and adjust the volume, the home screen comes up.. When it finishes, home screen goes away. Any way to stop that?
I add pic's to show the problem.
