CM10 (JB) for LG Optimus Black - LG Optimus Black

http://www.xda-developers.com/android/install-cm10-with-google-apps-on-samsung-galaxy-mini/
The above link states that Samsung Mini is running JB nicely, but a little problem of lack of internal memory.
So, it means we can also use CM10 (JB) on our OB devices ?
Developers plz have a look at this, maybe it will become easy instead we are struggling with Icecream Sandwich.

Yes our device can run nicely JB , just take a look at the p500 forum ,they already have JB.

I'm running jb on my old lg gt540 and it is smooth

yes..our phone's performance allows jb to run on it.
however, it is easier for dev to port the jb with a stable ics.
that's why most of the dev are focusing on the ics now.

great...
any known bugs ?
I mean camera, sound, wifi, etc ?

Why don't you just read before starting two unnecessary threads? Everything is in the existing ICS threads.

you don't know the matter to which my question is related to ......my question is related to (I'm running jb on my old lg gt540 and it is smooth) on above post..

ICS or GB

Can somebody tell what is the difference between ICS and GB.
Secondly how can one install ICS if he is on GB.
Thirdly games such as modern combat, NFS HP, etc HD games and other GB Apps will work fine on ICS.
Lastly benefits of updating to ICS or disadvantages of Updating to ICS.

congrats on posting the the right section
http://waveboy2u.wordpress.com/2012...ngerbread-and-android-4-0-ice-cream-sandwich/
upgrading depends on what rom you want to use and if you are rooted or not?
your third part is not really a question by I guess you mean does it work? and the answer is yes they should work fine.
Benefits well you get all the new changes, downside is as there is no offical release most of the roms are still buggy
Thanxxx man but i know i posted earlier ques in wrong section but its not so serious matter how people r reacting they can simply tell to post ques in other section.

people get like that because it happens far to often its not a attack at you or anything just at people not reading the rules and posting in the right place
Biggest differences are under the hood. ICS uses GPU UI rendering where gingerbread is still using cpu. Other than that the theme as changed. Better stock launcher and more unified look.
Read this for a pretty detailed discussion of ICS (its a review of the nexus in addition to ICS, but gets into details about ICS and what's different)

NO ICS?

Today I search about some news on ICS for our Optimus 2x. But I saw a lot of people saying that LG take out the Official Update for Optimus 2x...Is this true???

Visit the ics source out in general section you can find it easily because it's sticky thread and by the way close this thread
All update and question about ics is discussed in ics source out and i remind you before posting their read 10-20 pages back because some people their is so annoying in people who keep asking same question over and over again without searching the thread

I don't know but the lg Optimus lte was supposed to get ics yesterday and we still don't have it

I hope so...I really want to try the Official Update...I'm from Brazil, but use the V20Q...It's any kind of problem?By updating for v20q?

Os upgrading

The recent update, v20s, showed that LG did not abandon us. So if GB is still unstable, could they be concentrating on clearing bugs in GB before ICS?? I know there is an ICS thread. But this is also related to Questioning.

JB 4.1 Sources Out - All discussions here!

Welcome to new thread....We got what we demand interms of ICS...now its the time for JB....
Lets rock
I was just thinking about this one. How to work against the (finally) positive vibe running through the O2x forum. Close it for now, we will work on 4.1 after we get ICS running on P990

But there won't be official JB for P990, so what is point of this thread.

And the only interesting thing about it - Project Butter - is probably not even portable for Custom Roms. But let's wait... it's too early.
I am pretty sure we won't be getting 'official JB' on our phone....even if LG claims to provide it

Here it is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699106
This rom is based on Stock LG Rom (without any changes to UI), don't install any Tweak packs just download and flash the rom.

Ice question???

Can devs at cyanogen use the Korean version of ics and import the drivers for tegra on cm9 so that we have a stable version of cm? I mean is that possible? Cause the only thing that is missing on cm9 is the tegra 2 drivers.....
Sent from my Optimus 2X using xda app-developers app
Let me save you, in an easy explanation it is really hard to accomplish. Keep to the sticky thread for ics, admin plz lock.

Thank you for the answer!!!

yes it can be ported as long as the official kernel source release developers can use it but for now there are no official yet so no stable cm9
why don't read&search before open new thread completely useless???
Don't post questions in the General Section.
