Split it with Split2FUS take the pda rename it from tar.md5 to tar open it with wirar extract system.img you can open it with DiskInternals Linux reader.
Lockscreens are in android.policy.odex or android.policy.jar but you need to deodox it.
Why don't you just take the file android.policy.jar from a custom rom ? you can then extract it with backsmali.jar with the command java -jar baksmali.jar android.policy.jar -o nameofthefolder .

If you have cygwin on your pc then do this
cd <to whichever location you'r rom files are in>
tar -cvf blablabla.tar <file1> <file2> <file3>..........
md5sum -t blablabla.tar >> blablabla.tar
mv blablabla.tar > blablabla.tar.md5

I had downloaded a rom with removed bootloader from annson08 thread, by opening the .tar archive i noticed that he did just removed the arm11boot file from the package nothing else.
so maybe removing this file from your ROM and flashing it like usual will do the trick

i know that he just removed arm11boot but when i did that with many method i didn't succed to add it to "odin multi downloader" it crashs every time when i add the new file without bootloader i think that is not just unpack, remove and repack there is something special to make odin fish a fish not a shark

yeah i used cygwin too but i failed to make the output file work on odin!!!
i used this method from yagya:
Code:
cd firmware_directory
// Goes inside firmware directory
tar -cf firmware_name.tar amss mibib oemsbl qcsbl boot.img recovery.img system.rfs csc.rfs
// This will create a tar_file named firmware_name.tar containing all the files mentioned afterwards. You'll need to check if all files except arm11boot are included or not and add (or remove) to or from above list.
md5sum firmware_name.tar >> firmware_name.tar
// Checks md5sum of the tar file.
mv firmware_name.tar >> firmware_name.tar.md5
// Renames the firmware file. The outcome of this is your flashable zip file.
[optional] gzip firmware_name.tar.md5
//zips the firmware_name.tar.md5 file as gz format. It is easier while sharing the file since it reduces the file size by almost 50 %.
you did everything correct but the problem of Odin crashing is its a md5 file then you remove the arm11boot md5 of file changes which makes the Odin crash
steps to correct it:-
1. extract everything from package
2. delete arm11boot
3. then download a software which can create a tar package
4. with that software create an empty tar package
5. put all the files in that tar package
then then you are ready to flash

Make sure you use Notepad++ to edit the updaterscript. If you have problems. Take an updater-script from a working rom and see if it flashes successfully.
---------- Post added at 09:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:33 AM ----------
Copy the entire META-INF folder from any rom and paste it in your rom's zip.
EG- If your rom is based on cm7, copy cm7's meta-inf
I copied META-INF from Adrenaline ROM
And it didn't work
assert failed:raw_boot_img
Could it be a kernel problem (boot.img)
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Which boot.img are you using?
You need to use a boot.img from a custom kernel, stock boot.img wont work.
Mate Upload Your Rom and PM it to me and i'll look at what is wrong if u like.
Are you sure you never used any of the Dsixda kitchen tools?
Because they are not compatible with the Ace.
Plus, I hope you never converted it into update-script.
Is your rom CM7 based, or stock based?
Im using stock boot.img
I thought it would work... I don't like custom kernels like nims or CF-Root.
As soon as I get home I'll send you ROM.
It was originally update-script and changed with dsixda kitchen to updater-script.
Stock based

Dsixda scripts are not compatible with the Ace.
did the stock rom u are basing this rom on have a Meta-Inf. or was it from a system.img

After creating zip usi.g dsixda kitchen. Extract zip and copy meta-inf folder from.other rom and replace. Stock kernel wont work. Extract the zip of any custom kernel, copy system folder and boot.img and paste in the root directory of extracted files of rom. Zip back everything. It will work.

So I just replace boot.img with a custom kernel and start building from that?
or after creating the .zip I also have to copy the META-INF from another ROM?

Just replace META-INF in your rom with META-INF from Blackhawk(if stock rom) and make necessary edits.Your rom will work perfectly.I personally haven't had any problem by using stock kernel.

Ok. Read carefully.
After creating the zip via dsixda kitchen. Close it and dont touch it at all. The follow the steps from my last comment.
Buddy.
Just upload your meta-inf..
and i'll look into it.
Got this problem before , it's because the assert command in updater-scripts do not support boot.imgs larger than 4MB .
Just remove the assert() and replace the commands in the proper format (replace commas at the end of command with semi-colons) as well as grab a proper update-binary , your boot.img should work .

I'm working on a Samsung Galaxy GT-B5510, having the same problem trying to install custom ROMs and kernels. All failing with the same error you describe here. However, when I edit the script and rerun it, it does not throw an error but it looks like the kernel is not replaced. The only thing I didn't do was change the update-binary. What do you mean by a "proper" one?
Thanks.
