So instead of putting pictures up you should have a look at this review because there is a lot more to it Pocketnow review of SPB. It's not of the streak but just imagine the bigger screen.
I will just add my two bits. I like utility in a gadget but one of my major pet peeves with technology is usability. A good program should have the ability to be usable without a good deal of instruction.
I find this launcher very intuitive and, contrary to the couple of mentions in the video above, sometimes going a little extra on the eye candy without much utility is what it's all about. I really like this, the way it looks, the way it feels and also the way I can show a couple of simple animations that really dress up my tab even though they may have no real utility. After all, what do you think the competition is doing?
Original Post:
Just tried out this launcher. I've ben waiting for it to come out on android because I thought it would be a good tablet launcher.
Just so no one wastes their time or money; it says not for tablets. It its woefully under-res making it look ugly and their is no landscape mode.
If these two things were fixed it would be perfect. It was very nicely layed out, smooth and practical. I will keep my eye on updates and post if there its anything worth downloading here. A for now, I am not a visual snob by any means, but only spend the money on this if you have severe eyesight issues. It's definitely not something that will make your friends jealous of your tab.

Just got an update. Looking good now! I'll put some pictures up soon.
any update on those pics lmao
Will it fuction in landscape mode with the new update?
No there is no landscape view but I have found more and more that I am using my streak in portrait mode and it suits me just fine. Just posted a video, see OP.
i dont understand you have not said if it supports tablets also , you speak as if your running this on the streak 7 , if not what does this have to do with anything in GENERAL about the streak

I've been looking at this software. The web site says it won't support tablets, but the Streak uses similar resolution to a high end cell phone, and Android 2.2.2 is actually a cell phone OS, so I imagine it may very well install on the Streak. I believe that is what the OP meant.
But it wont...without cracking the app open and editing it ...

Please see my updated post above. I got this for my captivate but have found out that it works GREAT on my streak (after an initial update). I find myself using my tab in portrait mode most of the time so lack of landscape view is not a big issue to me at all.

15 bucks for a launcher though??? that's just crazy

It is not a launcher, it is a shell. It incorporates weather, clock, etc. It is pretty similar to SPB Mobile Shell, which I used on my WM device before I got my HD2.
Im tired of this guys lies how did u get it running on streak when there is no tablet support there was no update for tablets I bought it just to.see then refunded you are a liar it doesnt take 2 weeks to post one pic you sir are what we call in the hood a attention whore

What exactly was your experience? Did you try and install and it would not install?
The Streak is using a phone OS (2.2.2), and the screen resolution is the same as my HD2 phone: 480X800. And the S7 supports OpenGL. I sent an email to SPB asking why it would not work with the S7. I'll post the reply.
EDIT: Those pictures in the OP certainly look like a Streak 7, and that is definitely SPB 3D...

You are really getting my blood boiling. You hijacked this thread when it was first put up and you are trying to hijack it again now.
You are seeking attention by contributing nothing but hurling uninformed insults.
Your comments originally were all deleted and I hope a mod can come and clean it up again.
I don't live on xda or on my tablet so yes it does take time for me to post pictures. I just wanted to start my very first contribution to the steak forums because I have been anticipating spb since ces and I am really happy with my purchase.
It works without any hacking, just download from the market. True story.what further proof could I possibly offer?
Post a video and shut me up I post those pics because you seem to be the only person with a working tablet period with spb on it I dont care about the phone screen size when I downloaded this it hanged for 5 minutes then told me device is not supported and force closed show a video because that could be a screen shot from your captive

ADW incorporates all that stuff too it's still a launcher. lol
I tested it on my mytouch4g. It doesnt even go into landscape mode on a phone..only portrait.... major fail.. I really liked it on my phone but the $15 price tag and no landscape just kills it.
And your own words that after an update it worked checked again no tablet support no update so share more than "i got a update now it works" how did you get it to work and nobody else did

Look closely at the photos in this promo . . .
Nook Color Promo
Yeah I saw that and did a Double take. A few minutes later I saw Android Central had a "Staples Photoshop Fail".
Bad bad editing. Love how Staples is getting all of these tablets though....

Yeah, I just stopped in to my local Staples today and they had the Nook Color, Dell Streak, Xoom, Kindle, and the Blackberry Playbook each with their separate end-of-aisle display sections. Kinda cool, actually. They'll have to expand the store when the Acer and the Transformer come in to town.
that is funny...
Haha, that's to funny. Also what's really funny is that they still haven't noticed the mistake and fixed it yet

That's extremely creative. Can't wait for it to come out.
A few years back, google bought bumptop, a desktop replacement for windows, but they didn't do anything with it. Its amazing how well this takes the bumptop interface and implements on a touchscreen!
I don't like the looks of it but these gestures are awesome. Definitely looking forward to this.
I am looking forward to this!!

This is what SPB Shell 3d should have been, its a shame they did not get as creative as this new comer
This looks pretty amazing. I wonder how intuitive it is to use.. or how steep the learning curve is. Also, what type of minimum hardware requirements for a smooth experience.
Nice to see some fresh ideas though.

"TSF Shell Pro 1st edition demo

thats the description of the video
so it would lead us to believe it was ran on a desire hd?
This is awesome... Like that flag waving and the lasso selections.. This would be awesome .....
And then your battery instead of 8H will last only 2......
They really need to do sth with that! Old Nokia 6510 could last even up to a 10 days!
And now Nexus can't even pass one day....

wonder what the price tag is gonna be. I bought MS for 15 thinking eventually the product would grow and have been sorely disappointed in SPB.
It works nice man, but uses a hell lot of ram.. so makes other apps laggy.. so decided to wait for some updates. Don't spend money on this (for now!!)!

its out today, costs 16.70, and does eat a lot of ram. runs smooth though.
As a backer I'm very excited to see that they posted sample video of Chameleon running on the Nexus 7.
Can't wait!
Hopefully they add a bunch of different widgets moving forward as that will be what makes or breaks the product I'd think.
I pre ordered this app with my nexus =)
Any word on release date?

same here i learned my lesson with launcher pro i had paid for the key before they got it in market place later on some of those feature were not there for people that bought it earlier dont want to make that mistake again.
I want to buy it but I don't want to buy a separate phone version and a tablet version. Anybody know if it's all going to be one product or are they launching 2 separate purchasable versions?

It's made for tablets... not for phones.
I'm a backer as well. Supposedly they'll be setting up a way for people to download it via the Play Store if you backed them. I'm not sure how that is going to work.

Something to that effect it was in one of their videos/emails

I don't know if this is stupid or not but since we have this great watch with TWRP and all the goodies this community has provided, could there actually be port of the Gear Live's ROM to our smart watch or an original build of the android wear source for ours? I was just thinking how sweet this would be while watching Google I/O today. Please post thoughts and proposals if any of you have cool ideas. This would be such an awesome thing to have done rather than having to buy a whole new watch when we already have this great one.
