[REQ] GAPPS

Can someone running the 4.0.3 OTA pull the gapps and related libraries/config files out (see koush's ics gapps as an example http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/gapps-ics-20111128.zip)
I've built a 4.0.3 rom for the gnexus but there appear to be issues with the older gapps.
thanks

Stick to it.
Just keep this in mind:
1. You can use the kittenlinux's mebitek's deodexed variant (They are both built from Pure CM) in case you want nightlys or weeklys, they are almost the same (I actually flash Mebitek's original build without wiping data without trouble on top of kittenlinux's)
2. I haven't tried the gps on mebitek's latest release (version 1.2) but it was fixed on kittenlinux's mebitek's deodexed latest weekly in case you want extra fast sat fixes.
3. Adding slaidy's scripts has been great for me (it's extra smooth, somehow better than Adrenaline's).
So: Use Mebitek's (1.2), add Salidy's scripts, in case you have gps problems try the gps.conf from kittenlinux's (they are different).
Im currently using mebitek's cm7 (1.2) it works just fine

Bummer...I wonder why? The SGH-T499 and the GT-S5570 are supposed to be the same device. Too bad they seem very different from each other. Thanks for the reply!

Agree.Cyanmobile is all about functions and tweak but it a bit less stable than cyanogemod (at least for me )
If you want to port a rom yourself, there's already a tut in the dev section.. you might want to try it.

Just try cyanmobile. It is very good rom, with so much different tweaks that cause that phone can be less stable but sometimes it works much better than others roms.

I tought about it, I wasn't sure about including stock "ROMs" rightly because after all, these are original FWs and not alternative ROMs. I think it's better like that.
what do you think ?

I used CM7 last nightly (05-27) and it was really good, the only downside was battery drain, i lasted only for 7 - 9 hours, I really can´t wait for Tant's CM7 based on RC3

[Q] Galaxy Mini to Android 4.0.3

I have galaxy mini 2.3.6 & want update it to 4.0.3
so plzzz post me the download link....
and I also waant to know that if this doesn't work
then can i go back to my gingerbreed 2.3.6...
plzzz help me...
Reading won't hurt you.. at least 5 to 10 threads below this are discussion threads that will give you the information about ICS. And don't expect too much.. ICS for our device is messy and not everything works..
We don't have any official ICS release for galaxy mini.. ...IF you want ICS you must have a custom ROM flashed (CM9/AOKP etc)...
And why don't you google any thing before posting it here ?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Hit thnx it will take your only 1KB..
here is ICS or better than ICS
CyanogenMod 9 - CLICK HERE
FYI, ICS for galaxy mini is available, but there is still plenty of bugs... one of them being the camera itself. Search the forums first before you post.

Need some information about Official CyanogenMod 7.2

Hi. I just wanted to flash the latest nightly of Official CM7.2 for Cooper and I just wanted some clarifications.
1) How stable is the rom?
2) What are the bugs?
3) Is it better than the unofficial builds?
Thanks in advance!

Asking for the bugs of a rom before using it is like asking for a torn dress to wear and not bothering because the hole is not anyplace significant.

1. Even though the release is tagged stable. In reality. It isn't stable.
2. BLN doesn't work out-of-the-box(works by adding a few files from unofficial release), GPS fix has issues, notification volume has problems, not as fluid as unofficial builds, and no OC support as far as i know(not sure about this), and a few more.
3. My recommendation is to use vo-1's latest unofficial RC3 build posted in the development section.

Well if you're looking for a stable, fast cm7.2 this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1360889 will take you to it and don't ask if the official cm7.2 is good or bad or does it have bugs or not. Why is it so hard to see that it's a nightly build ofc it has problems. I tried it, its lovely and thanks to the devs but at the end of the day its not completed yet.
Long story short mate cm7.2 Cooper by vo-1 is the best cm7 for ace so far its a finished job and everything is working. I gave you the link to it above so check it out. I have switched between hundreds of roms but as a friendly suggestion that
Is the best so far to me. (I'm not saying its perfect though)
