I read a while ago on Twitter that gave broadcom drivers for the GPU and IV videocam .... then came out 2 update for Galax y ... which probably means that Samsung released drivers .... Message from Broadcom [Looking for our drivers for Samsung Galaxy Y? They're in the Samsung release. Go to http://bit.ly/JZSR9I, search "GT-S5360" prajforbroadcom] .. now only needs to bridge drivers from Galax Galax y to as "I"
i think this not is the GPU drivers of broadcom...

then goto mobile phones from the list
then ctrl+f and search for GT-S5830I and u will find 5 results with samsung open source releases for gt-s5830 i................
but i dont think that these are gpu drivers................
I guess so......i think broadcom has released drivers for galaxy y.....accrding to their tweet on twitter.

Dude my phone is also armv7... like i said above that i got tw 4.5 workable only issue is that its for hdpi phones not for mdpi.. so i want mdpi version of Samsung galaxy mini 2,,,

Yes, I flashed cwm and retribution on a Galaxy Ace s5830m. You can check this seeing that in download mode you'll see it says "i"

Don't get your problem. You don't need chainfire3d to run it. It doesn't make much difference in ace. Just get a armv6 compatible version of the apps, you won't get them in these forums cuz they're warez.

S5830 and S5830i uses different chipset...
5830 and 5830i/c/m have nothing in common...
5830 has qualcomn cpu and a saperate adreno 200 gpu..
while 5830i/c/m uses broadcom bcm21553 and bcm2763 gpu(for which drivers are still not available)...!!
may be that's the reason our phone doesn't support recording at 640*480 resolution even after 2.3.6 update !!

hi there. I flashed a custom rom from right after i bought the ace and it has 640x480. i don't if there is a hardware limitation, i would say it's probably the .apk file like SpaceCaker said. i'm not an expert though :angel:

R: s5830m camera issue
Install LG camera to record @30fps 640*480. I used to use this apk on froyo. I know you've got a 5830i but I think will work fine Leave a feedback when you got it.
