I'm using an application called ClockSync to fix that. You could try updating your time zone files.

I'm running V28C. Once or twice a day I have this problem of seeing that my sim card has been removed and have to restart. I don't know if this is related to one of the appz I have installed or the rom itself. Any ideas?

Doesnt happen to me at all... Try another ROM like v20s and see if you still have the bug.

This has happened on V28A and V28C. Another person I know has had this happen with V28A. Could it be a battery saver appz
well i dont think its a hardware issue
if you dont want to flash v20s as nooby said, remove the apps you think are causing the problem of factory reset and see
else try v20s as nooby said
Hey guys, I recently flashed the Cyanogenmod 10.1 Nightly rom onto my galaxy ace s5830. I tried to switch on the wifi, it said 'Turning on' but did not go any further. Everything else is working fine... Please help! How should I fix this?

Hello all, sorry for my english.
I was using asylum and cm10.1 for along time and there great but i miss the TW goodness so i revert back to ultimat 5.0 for now, and i have a problem with wifi stop working all the time, what i mean is that after 30 minuts or so the wifi shows that its still connected but no data is transfering, if i leave my torrent client open then after 30-/+ minuts it stops downloading.
I must say that in aosp roms the issue is not exsiting, and every thing is ok. If i turn off the wifi and turn it back on the issue is solvd until the next time.
Ps. Im on LSA and i flashd the LSO modem and the problem is still there.
Is this a hardware issue or software? What othet test i can do to eliminate the problem?
Thanks

I think the latest version of the ROM you are on should be 5.1.. Try updating since youre on 5.0, maybe that will fix your wifi issue..
Yeah but that another issue becuse if i flash 5.1 the phone stuck at the first screen of "galaxy note" and thats it.
I think the file is maybe curropted, but i cand download another one cuz my wifi is disconnecting all the time.
I think i dont have a choice and ill have to go to aosp agian and download from there.
I am traveling and dont have access to a normal pc.
You think maybe other modems will fix the problems?
Thanks.

Im not sure but shouldnt you do full wipe before flashing some other ROMs?..
You talking about 5.1? It doesn't matter if I flash over or clean install non of them are working, anyway I'm downloading the new leak now and we will see if the problem is there also.
Thanks.

Thanks Kreatonn & Superuser, will try to change my battery first.
My X8 works well without random reboot when I switch off my data connection.
Hello Members,
I have this peculiar problem with v30c, the date & time acts up with every reboot/battery pull.
With automatic time sync it sync with other time zone, whereas I am from India, so I have to do it manually every time.
I used to face this problem on Marvel ICS, the problem is persistent on GB ROM as well, any permanent solution for this?

ok, sorry i don't use Marvell, when you flash, before, you make a factory reset by hidden menu and in cwm recovery wipe all and format all ?
only with custom rom or also with stock rom ?
I have the same problem too when i pulled out the battery the date is 1 jan 2000

It always happens. Even on stock.

Im on slimrom V3 and it´s the only one rom when i have correct date & time.
That is the problem of the phone internal mercury battery. It used to activate the data saving or system standby when it is power off.
