I have upgraded my set to latest LRK kernel ICS 4.0.4
but I notice if I do contacts backup by exporting contacts to SD card then restore it, the pictures inside the contacts become unclear.. I was on GB before and it was fine... any suggestion or help
Never mind I solve this problem with a third party prog.

I think 2.3.4 is buggy when you restore your old apps
I guess 2.3.3 is better for now, as 2.3.4 still has many bugs but its up to you weather you want to run it or not.

Did you sync your contacts with Google? Or did you export your contacts to the external sdcard?

As soon as you assign your gmail account to the phone it will import your synced contacts. If you exported to an sd card just import from sd card.

The best kernel and/or modem is the one that best meets your needs. Look at the specs of all of them and pick the one for you.

Exactly, this happens automatically after signing in.
I was using Titanium Backup Pro and was integrating updates into system apps and i lost my messaging app. Titanium backup says it is still installed but i cant open it and i cant uninstall it either.
I'm currently getting by with Handcent but i want my stock app back.
Can anyone help me get my messaging app back or do i have to stick with Handcent?
Any help is appreciated.

Only thing I think of is flash a new rom or reflash the one your using and your messaging app should show up

I would have tried that but i'm scared ill brick my phone. i have bad luck when it comes to doing things like this. i pink screened my iPod once.
Download a custom ROM, download "File Manager HD" from Market, enable root access in the settings and push Mms.apk from Custom ROM Zip into system/app

If i do that will I lose any of the data on the internal SD? I was thinking of doing factory reset but I'd lose all the stuff on my internal SD

Factory reset only deletes the apps, system and accounts. If you are still on Froyo, I'd recommend you to flash a Gingerbread ROM, or even an ICS one. You can backup your apps with some file managers too, but you'll lose all user data from them.
But as long as you don't wipe "sdcard" you'll keep all your music, photos and documents stores on your internal memory, even after dozens of flashes.

Hi all, i'm newbie, i got problem with LRQ touchwiz,when i move the application to sd card by using App2sd software or titanium. And then i arrange my application. The problem are when i restart my phone, my application will go back to default place. I need to rearrange the apps. Before LRG i using note base Touchwiz that is no problem. Only S3 Touchwiz will coming this problem.

no ppl help me:crying:hopes eybee1970 see my post, cos i using roket rom begin til now. prefect rom!
Are you using a 3rd party app to sort ur apps or the built in one...I have problems with the app pictures disappearing but not rearranging themselves..I think its a known vault but u could try wiping both caches in recovery to see if that helps...I'm also on RR v11.

it should work using titanium backup. the mobe to sd card is just a useless placebo with no effect
