Hi,
After searching the forums, I have found no solution to my problem. Let me explain: I wanted my rooter Galaxy note, all went well until the end. He turned back into download mode. The recovery mode does not work and I can not restart normally, I try to re-partition "Q1_20110914_16GB.pit." it took time over 15min so I unplugged and I are extending the phone after that it turns more
sorry for the spelling

Pit files should be used as a last resort, never a first. There's a chance you're bricked, although I doubt it.

I had the same problem, my phone was completely dead! does not care, does not go into recovery mode and does not go into download! The only thing that remained was to send warranty and see what happens!

Take out the battery for 1 minute.
Put it back in and then try to start the phone in download mode
Even if the screen stays black, it might still be in download mode...
Start pc din, connect the phone and see if the PC odin port goes yellow.
if it does then flash a complete rom with original pitfile nd bootloaders, since you seem to have screwed up your partitions.

All you did was root your phone. You didn't flash a ROM or anything? If you have already read how to flash to stock I would suggest doing that. Make sure you read and search the forum because there is so much information that can help you get out of a bind.

So rather than help the guy in the Q & A section, you tell him in both of his threads not to double post? Great help there bud, but when it is you that need help you get mad when others call you out for not paying attention. Start helping others, and I don't care what your thank meter is at, that is not an indication of you truly helping people.

Regardless. If Heimdall got stuck try using from another usb hub. If on desktop one from the back of the tower. If that doesn't work might want to try another cable (also rebooting your machine isnt a bad idea.) Are you on a Mac or a linux machine?
Sounds like a good idea. I've read that plugging your usb cable into a usb port directly attached to the motherboard works best.

Sounds like another case of the dreaded superbrick. You need another motherboard which if you've got warranty is free, if not, big bucks. You can repartition, but you'll lose about 3gb of space and it's likely stock roms will no longer work.

If no download mode, the they will not be able to see if it has counter or not. If it's not booting then they will not be able to see root. They will just swap motherboard and flash a stock firmware and send it back. Hopefully.

Sorry to tell you but you're screwed. The modem you flashed is not for the i957. Never flash anything that's not specific to your device. If you're still under warranty Samsung might repair it for free. Flashing the rom has voided the warranty, otherwise, they can repair it at a cost. Those are your options. You can't fix it yourself.
Edit: does odin recognize the device?

The download its a zip file. You probably have to extract the .tar.md5 file out of it. Use 7-zip to do that. I know you have to do that if you are using odin. Not sure with the way you ate doing it.

Hi guys, few months my girlfriend dropped her LG P880 down the toilet... anyway now I have managed to get it to work, I had it in rice for like 2 months.
I had to re-flash the firmware to bring it back to life. If i reset the phone i need to re-flash it so the phone boots up (I have rooted the phone and then I can reset the phone, turn it off and back on and it works), but the minute I take the battery out or when the battery dies it will not come back on. All I get is black screen and BACK / HOME / OPTION is glowing without me pressing the power button and thats it.... Now for me to get the phone back on i need to flash it every time. After rooting POWER + VOL DOWN does not load up the recovery.
NOW IM STUCK Any ideas guys?

If you still having problems after flash with LGFlash Tool ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38838927&postcount=7 ),
my only guess is that you have a hardware issue. Can be caused by some water remains and with time disappear or its some
permanet damage, in that case only LG Service can deal with that.

This is more complicated but, if you have problems with port comunication, try this:

If you still having problems after flash with LGFlash Tool ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=38838927&postcount=7 ),
my only guess is that you have a hardware issue. Can be caused by some water remains and with time disappear or its some
permanet damage, in that case only LG Service can deal with that.
Toilets can be a sh*ty thing...

Manual selection is to let you choose the .dll. You can leave the connection as UART, then select the USB port on the port settings.

My tmobile note 4 is stuck in a bootloop, shows galaxy note 4 and then reboots over and over, I've tried all of the T-Mobile note 4 firmware with no luck, my question is, if I check on the partition box in Odin will it hard brick my phone

If you check the re partition, it will absolutely brick your device.
Did you follow the guide I made?
If so, make sure you factory reset before your first boot.

Def sounds like hardware. Just replace it.
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I've had this happen to me a million times. Turn on your phone in recovery mode (assuming you have the stock kernel) factory reset and wipe cache. Phone will start right up.
