[Q] problem with creed 3.5.1 pls help

I am having a problem with creeds rom 3.5.1.
When i flash this rom i am getting only 4 main dock icons. Whereas in the screenshots there are 5. Pls help %&--%+#+#%&*#* i love this rom.

You can change all shortcuts as you want there no problem

Dude wat do u mean . I am talking about the icons at the very bottom!! When i drag a shortcut ffor example the settings icon. When i drag it to the bottom the remove bar comes in between.

To be very simple: Change your launcher with an another like go launcher or launcher pro: both are the best for my opignon.

no, install another rom in recovry

nahh just go into app drawer then press menu button and edit then you can drag the icon of your choice to the ones below

First: Update to Gingerbread Here
Second: root your phone Here
Third: Install Custom Recovry here and then u can update to touch recovery here
Now u can install any custom rom

Wipe Dalvik
Format system
Install Creeds
Wipe Data/Reset
Reboot! Done

i'm testing the rom and it's fast and stable, i'm not sure if it really have android 2.3.7 (don't know the difference)
dont have flash in the rom (you can flash it by yourself), uses rafael baugis kernel and the only thing i dislike is the ying yang in the loading logo.
here are some screenshots.
btw, sorry for my english, i'm from Chile.

I checked. Im downloading it ryt now. I checked d firmware version on google. It said 2.3.6. Check it urself.

i've tested this rom..it works fine but i get a problem...
i'm unable to get root access, superuser app is not opening, and i cannot use titanium backup!!

i was using mobilego to restore contacts,apps and this problem got autofixed after restore...dnt knw how!

Oh look the same facebook group an same guy that copied the Retribution Beta 3.5 Release an probably others an not given no thanks or asked permission!!!
I wouldnt be suprised if this rom isnt even by Berk Şemsioğlu and its just the build prop edited to look that way on the phone info screen???

Yes you can. Just go here and download the bootanimation4u.zip and then flash in it CWM. Then add add any bootanimation.zip to your system/media

I tried it too but to no effect....turns out you need a KERNEL to change the bootanimation!

I'm on JB with stock kernel also tried with thunderzap and it works.
P.S. Did you put your bootanimation.zip in system/media folder after flashing the Bootanimation4U.zip

I flashed the one with Samsung in its name. I will try that one now.

It should work. Only the init.rc needs to be edited to add custom bootanimation support (maybe also a binary).!

I inlstalled that other file via recovery, but still no custom bootanimation. And I did put bootanimation.zip in system/media... I do not need it much, so I didn't bother more. :angel:

I have LQ4 and installed the bootanimation5u and then my custom bootanimation.zip and it worked

You can use this with fresh install or not. If you don't have fresh rom you must wipe dalvik cache in recovery

@OP:Would you update to another sever(i know google is good but cant download by phone).

this odex is only for cm7 and other rom with base of cm not for base rom of samsung. I'm working to create a version for samsung rom

you can use titanium backup pro to odex your rom... you can also de-odex... in titanium backup pro goto More> integrate sys dalvik into rom

Yeah if your on stock then just flash though odin. No need to do a wipe as your not upgrading it.

i realised that the only way you can recover your sytem ui is flashing through cwm or to flash your whole rom again i cant loose my data i made a backup for my phone if something like this happened but my cuzin deleted it my mistake

will i loose my root if i flashj the stock rom

Yes you will loose root but you can easily re root in less than a min anyway

System UI zip
I had problems with System UI dozens of time.I don't think that flashing rom again is only way.Somebody could make System UI xxemb5 zip , and we could just flash it via CMW.This will help a lot , cus we could install anything knowing that if we screw up we can easily recover System UI.Flashing again wil delete all your mods , root , and some settings, even if you have a backup.Correct me if I am wrong , but if I am not please help

I do see your point but as this is requesting an APK file I think it would be allowed in either section really mate.
I could be wrong but I do think it is boarder line as to where this thread could be placed.

Well it may be worth downloading the flashable zip just incase it happens again so then you know tht it will only take 30 seconds without loosing root to fix.
