what is the best android app to download youtube video - Galaxy Tab 8.9 General

what is the best android app to download youtube video for offline viewing? name some.

I don't know of any but I believe there are none on the play store as this violates googles app policies. I dont think google wants people pulling videos off youtube. Seems like I've read this somewhere else. Maybe others will home in.

i'm using tubemate
it is perfect
( there is another one named tubemote it is not working)

Not currently on the Play market so you have to go to their site to grab it. Use your Tablet browser and there should be a download link when you view the site:
tubemate.net

Most imp tablet specific app needed?

Hi guys,
I really want to love the Xoom, I like android a lot and the hardware is too good (at least at this point)
But I not in place where I can drop my iPad for good. The reasons are pure app specific, if I get these decent on Xoom... it's bye bye iPad.
So this is a quasi-'need help' thread. to double check if I'm not missing anything
1. Magazine app - Something like Zinio, I depend too much on it and couldn't find even an ETA on when Zinio will be available for Android
~ Solved. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11939617&postcount=5
2. Comics reader - I know we have the Comics app but I need a cbr/cbz reader. I tired AVC but doesn't seam to work on Honeycomb
~ Solved. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11939617&postcount=6
3. A UI-nice IM app. I love the Gtalk app but need facebook and skype IM app
4. Netflix app.
5. Tablet specific twitter, facebook, foursquare apps. I know iPad doesn't have FB or FS apps but this would be nice
6. Now the big big deal... I consider all these tablets as a 'consumption' devices, and the biggest thing I 'consume' is movies and tv shows...
The best thing about iPad is, I just launch iTunes app then rent a movie, wait for sometime and then enjoy the movie...
Is there a way I can get this experience on a Xoom? I know that right now most of the HD formats play on tegra but is there any hope to get this?
~~~~~~~~~~
Disclaimer: Please don't pounce on this post and call me a iFreak. I'm not trying to diss the Xoom or Android. I did search and try apps to see if I could get all this... but couldn't find a way. So before I make a decision I just wanted some opinions.
thanks
Don't forget the completely absent Google Docs app! Someone please tell me its in the works....
If you download Spare parts and unselect Compatibility mode AVC works great. i have been using it for days now with no FC.
zinio
Zinio works great. I use it on my Xoom and Galaxy Tab.
Have you tried jj comic viewer for comics? i cant confirm it works on 3.0 but it is the best ive found pre HC
A Market app that works...
Searches properly so you can find those Apps you want that may exist but you would never know.
Recognizes applications that have updates properly.
Doesn't randomly open other app's.
Actually installs Apps the first time you ask for them.
And why Google is at it, Tablet Section - more direct support on the Web Market while the programmer who is assigned to the tablet market app figures out how to code - bug fix.
(yes I am frustrated with the market today)
I don't remember if manga watcher loads cbz and crz files but in general it is really good app. It was recently updated to load local files from sd so it might be worth checking out. I know the dev does alot of work and updates it frequently. You might even write him and ask if he plans to add support for these files if they aren't already supported. I bought the full app and have been happy with it ever since.
All I have to say is Samurai Executioner.
I have been doing the same without issue. Much better experience than my old e-reader with 800x600!
I tried Zanio on my Xoom and it just FC on startup.
HTC WATCH (fix requested)
Could someone take a look at the attached xap file and tell me why it isn't streaming the videos? It installs perfectly on the rom I'm using (TIGER-WP-Stock-(HD2)-V5.0.0-Final) but the videos won't stream. I've been trying to find this out for the longest. Could use some help
I think you have to install connected media first.
I was able to create an account and even able to use my free $10 credit from Tmobile to rent and download a movie. Can't play it though as it seems like they have license issues which I'm trying to rectify.
My version of HTC Watch is just the one I downloaded from Marketplace.
I have the exact same problem. I'm not able to stream trailers either
Is no one clever enough to at least tell me why it doesn't work?
Well, I managed to get the Tmobile Tv app working...I think it's a licensing problem thats occurring with HTC Watch. Some help would be appreciated....At least a response
1Mobile Anyone?
Just found this http://www.1mobile.com
Anyone with any experience from it?
I cant find any info about commission and stuff, but it seems to be a pretty large site?
Or, other better alternatives to Google Play?
Alternate Stores
Like with any store the results are mixed based on a number of factors. I like Opera, Mobango, Mobiles24, Amazon, Aptoide, AndroidPit and Yandex but it all depends on the quality of your app and Google Play will still likely drive the majority of your downloads.
google play store is must the primary one, others are all alternative to end users.
I'd still stick to Google Play. I've been using it for a long time now aside from Apps Store.
Well, I was checking 1mobile myself, as I have read elsewhere that it was a big alternative app store.
However, I have seen that its "High-Speed Download" button serves a modified apk, with a lot of additional resources and classes. That seems fishy at the very least.
Does anyone know what 1mobile modifies the apk for? I wouldn't like my app to be associated with adware and bad practices, users to be stolen private data, or additional ads shown within the app.
All-In-One Toolbox
Hi I know 1 mobile's stuff, do you need it? Upload your app here is not bad choice.
Hi Maggie, I am wondering what are those 3MB or so that 1mobile attaches to my app's apk when the user clicks on "high-speed download".
1Mobile App Store is completely dead. I think you have to go with the Google Play alternative Android stores and even you can go with some mod app stores.
May be this list will help you in choosing that: https://apkfolks.com/app-stores/
Looks good buddy. Can it replace my day-to-day torrent downloading app or can I only use it for downloading videos? Can we also download non-videos torrents too?
{Info] YouTube Go
so YouTube has been announced and is slowly rolling out in India. YouTube goes seems to be a viable Tubemate replacement with all the little bugs that crop up in tubemate. YouTube Go will seemingly be for videos only but we'll hope that changes since it's has not launched yet.
Here is some info on it for you people (clarification: when I say you people I don't mean black people)
You can sign up for the service here
You can read about the Official blog post here
Hopefully someone find that helpful! :victory: and if you find a legit apk post a link below & i'll update the OP.
I find arkTube to the best so far
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gen...-arktube-ultimate-youtube-downloader-t3321818
It works with the youtube app so no need for switching to tubemate if you find a video you want to download.
ArkTube is nice but it's also a paid app. YouTube Go will be free on launch.
Edit--I should've read a little more. I was thinking this is a 3rd party app but I was off. Thinking this wont be available in the USA?
Hmmm it's possible considering the purpose of the app but either way we can just grab the apk once it's available and reap the same benefits.
cuz to be honest, I can't afford an unlimited plan so using Youtube Go on WiFi would be just perfect!
Just an update if anyone is following this... app is still in "coming soon" phase.
If anyone is still interest, it's available on ApkMirror.
Tried the app. Runs smooth and snappy. Can we mod this app in order to make it more data usage & battery friendly ?
1. Amoled black instead of white
2. White font instead of black
3. Instead of showing the video, can we only show the thumbnail.
It would be great.
How do I get this app on Nexus 6P running 8.1 Oreo? I die loaded but it said it's not for my phone and directs me to the Playstore but then it says not available
