hi bro
if your note is in warranty just go service center and tell them that while updating new ics rom , your gnote bricked.
they will replace mother board because our gnote have EMMC brick bug.
if its out of warranty then tell me is it powering up and giving samsung galaxy n7000 logo , are you able to go download mode.. ie.. power button+vol down+home/menu button.

Did u do a full wipe on stock kernel?
If not, i don't think it is bricked. It only the ota update got something wrong.
Have u tried to flash stock rom from pc odin? If not, try first. Download the stock rom from sammobile and give it a try use pc odin.

Are you not on Imika ICS ROM with Angelom kernel??
If it was gingerbread, then yes, unplug, back to download mode, and start again.

If it was angelom ICS kernel 1.2 and you performed a wipe before, that's a whole different story.

Welcome to the forum AND the land of the bricked!
A lot has been written about wiping in recovery (on ICS).
Use the search option and you will maybe find a way out.
It is superbricked.
Flash stock kernel and return it to samsung service centre.
Don't tell them about root, custom roms etc.
Btw, which version of cf-root did you flash ?
and please post question and Q&A.
Samsung.
Service.
Center.
Don't worry, act stupid and it will all be good. XD

obviously it seems to me like a brick... I think you have to give it to samsung....
get ur mobo replaced if you have warranty i have got mine few days back
I had ICS 4.0.3 installed before which was rooted using CWM and then I decided to install CM9 nighlty after installing the CM9 Rom through CWM i rebooted my phone and it got stuck on the "samsung galaxy note gt n7000" logo.
Ive tried installing many stock roms using ODIN and all of them are stuck on the same thing (2.3.5, 2.3.6, 4.0.3)
I can boot into download mode and recovery mode but in recovery mode my phone gets stuck if i select wipe/data option.
Please help.
You should flash the cm9 from gb not ics. There is a warning there that it must be flash from gb.
sorry but you have brick your phone next time follow the developer instructions before flashing theres a thread on how to revive your phone around search it here in xda

Thanxgood: for the Info guys, but I gave my phone to the service center. thought ill just be worsening the condition of my phone.
Will update you with the procedure the service center people took to repair the phone.
Lol,
Next time flash gb with pit file, then from recovery do factory and cache wipe. Reboot

I had flashed my phone using the 16GB pit file with re-partitioning checked, but that too didn't work. Just waiting for the service guys to fix it. :fingers-crossed:
Sorry you've run into troubles. Can you let us know if you get the phone back OK?

dude did they fix your note? beacause i already went to service center waiting for my note...
Hi guys just got my phone back from the service center, its working now:laugh:. They replaced the motherboard of my phone and also the binary counter is zero now.
Please suggest me the best way to install CM9 as the stock ICS is not at all good.
and is there a way to get the SNOTE applications on the custom ROM?
follow the isntructions i nthe roms first post and you cant go wrong
no snote only works with touchwiz not cm9/aosp
Make sure you flash stock gb first with pc odin, don't flash anything else from ics, you'll brick for certain.
Then you need to root and cwm and perform full wipe under gb before flashing cm9.
There are various snote alternatives in the play store which I'm sure others will be able to advise you of, but no toucwizz Samsung apps will run under cm rom.

Thanks for the response! Yes can enter download mode holding the power, volume and home buttons. I've tried stock Australian roms and stock Hong Kong roms as I'm not sure whether its a AU model or HK model.. They're 4.0.4, I'm not sure what you mean by GB? Do you mean ginger bread actually and I should try download a rom that isn't 4.x.x??
Thanks for your time..
Yes i mean gingerbread(2.3.6)
Try flashing a stock gingerbread(2.3.6) rom

Be careful, you might have one of your partition broken...
My friend had this before, and he finally succeeded to flash N7000DXLR5 firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
But then he checked his storage capacity was reduced to 7GB...
Do you have a warranty? If you've got some binary counter or yellow triangle, it is better to remove it first using a jig
Then go to the nearest Samsung Service Center, hopefully you'll get a replacement...
hm... definitely I'm sure one of his file partition is already corrupted...
@OP, you may need to check the thread on the PIT file method to revive your Note(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667886)... perhaps you might have the dreaded bug already...
Hi Guyz...
I was on Android 4.0.4 Stock Indian Rom & stock kernel
I found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953847
and i went to it.. than i downloaded that rom..
now it was time to install it..
I went to recovery mode than i selected CWM.zip and flashed it..
than in CWM I wiped Data
but i think data was not wiped ! phone automatically turned on... and was hanged on Samsung logo.. i thought it has been done
now i went to apply zip from sd card.. i applied the zip provided by eybee1970
Done.. it installed.. now it was showing Samsung's New Logo on startup..
i was happy coz i thought now m on JB !
than I waited 10 minutes but phone was hanged on samsung's logo
i thought maybe it is installation problem..
I again went to recovery mode.. now my recovery mode was changed ! i was directly into CWMR
and i seen kernel also changed ! it was Philz's Kernel...
I thought now its perfect for my Note.. Now i can install JB
i again flashed that Zip file..
But again phone was hanged on Samsung Logo !
i waited 30 minutes...
than i again went to recovery mode and I wiped Data again..
than again i Flashed that zip file
Now phone was Showing -
Galaxy Note GTN7000 Only
again i flashed zip for 4th time.. now i thought it may be a problem of that zip ! it may never install...
Now i changed my mood and connected my note with pc and opened odin and tried to install - N7000DDLR6_N7000ODDLR2_N7000DDLR1
but it was also not getting installed ! Odin gaved error - Fail !
i tried it 2 times.. now nothing is happening...
My Note Not opening
now it is showing error -
Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again..
What Can I Do Now ? Please Help Friends
and sorry coz i do not read the whole post and do a direct installations do not prepare and care for instructions..
plz help guyz plz
First off all always read related thread carefully before trying new rom on your Note. There are lots of warning in this forum not to use recovery mode when you are on stock ICS rom.
Anyway try to install stock gingerbread rom on your note using pc odin. It is better to use Dr. Ketan`s step by step guide to root your note and installing new rom. I hope you are able to go to download mode. BEST OF LUCK

I guess u bricked ur note..if odin fails, then try claiming warranty from Samsung, if your phone is under warranty..
If not, try jig, JTAG, PIT file methods..*after reading & understanding completely & thoroughly*
I've been there buddy....
1. Download a safe kernel *.tar for flashing from pc odin
- after install u'll be able to get into recovery
2. Get an original firmware from www.sammobile.com
-u r gonna flash it from pc odin along with the PIT file.
-- boot into download mode
-- flash firmware
-- finish... now can continue flash new kernel and ROM
Refer to dr.Ketan's flashing / brick guide

Try flashing another tom
And if you are not sure about flashing a rom,its better to take it again to service center
was it proper Samsung service center?
what did they say? did they change the motherboard?
check if your usb storage is 11gb, if yes, then flash a safe kernel and do a factory reset and test again
