camera issue

ok sooo i unlocked my phone.. the camera worked before i flashed it .. but now it just shows up black and when i try to take a picture it says it cant communicate
do i have to update something or what?

Try a different Radio. The one you're currently using evidently is not compatible with your ROM. Also, could you post more specific information about what you've done to your phone since the camera stopped working?

umm the only thing i've done since it stopped working was use the kasier flash..
how do i change the radio i literally just got the phone.. and needed to flash it .. so far it's pretty sweet i've wanted one for a long time.. and i finally got one.. i mean camera isn't a necessity but it would be nice to have
i just noticed after restarting it i have windows mobil 6.1 .... could that be the issue

Did my Kaiser DIE ??? = / help please

Well guys i have a problem .. i was testing some roms and diffrent radios and the last one that work was this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=519715 and the radio was 1.70.18.02. then i found this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542712 and then i flash this radio http://www.4shared.com/file/98344808/81e44d8a/Raphael_Radio_1142505.html before i flash ROM.. and when i do that my kaiser just STOP WORKING :S :S it dosn't even turn on .. what to do ?? someone ??? = /

try to detach the battery and put it back and turn it on. If it refused try the soft reset.

try that allready .. i even pull out battery for like 10min .. and nothing happend :S i thkink that i brick it :S :S :S

Try the steps on the following link. This may help you to at least get back to the bootloader. This is the HTC what to do.
Next is the XDA-Forum what to do, found in the FAQ thread on the ROM DEV area.
Try the FOLLOWING
If the first process doesn't work. And don't panic, I have bricked way more times than I've succeeded.

Not to pour salt on a wound, but the quickest way to brick your Kaiser, is to flash a Raphael rom and radio on to it . What were you thinking ?
Try everything to recover, but I think it is done

well that was nice to hear .. :S i didn't know that i shouldn't do that .. i found radio here on the forum so i tough that it's ok ..

well fu*k it now :S and i finaly found rom that i like and look what happend to me :S this year wasn't good for me at all :S just sh*t and sh*t and some more sh*t :S :S

well tnx for good thoughts but phone is over 2 years old so there is no warranty anymore = / .. plus the phone is from UK and im from Slovenia .. so warranty wouldn't help me anyway :S .. I'll search for some more recovery tips but i think that i'll have to say good bye to Kaiser :'( it was to heavy for me anyway = ) it's bad becaus i was selling this phone and now i can say good bye to phone and to money :S that sucks :S and tnx for trying to help me = )

Bricked liquid ??

hello folks ! i received a "kill deal" with an acer s100 liquid ... the guy says that he flashed a 2.1 cooked android version and now the phone can't recognize his sim ... can this damage be undone ? he mentioned that all other phone's functions (WiFi , GPS , Bluetooth,...) except GSM ! what should i do ? should i trade my blackstone or not ?

ask him to reflash the bin..
He might have used a custom rom with a different bin..just ask him to flash some stable stock firmware and try..2.000.16 will be a good one to try..

i just wanna know if this s100 can be repaired . some of you had the same issue ? because if i tell him how to unbrick it , he won't trade with my HD ... so , is it worth the trade ? ( can u link some tutorials because i flashed only WM ) ... i must mention that he used superboot ... he flashed back 1.6 and still no change ! anyone help ? tomorow i'll go see the phone ! i need a quick advice ( ways to flash , progs to use , rom version , etc ) ... i'm noob when it comes to android

[Q] X8 Keeps rebooting

Hello all
I have a X8 .. was rooted and had installed the xrecovery a while back but until my phone froze and had to install the stock one from the pc suite. Well .. done that succesfuly ..phone worked like 10 minutes and then it went crazy again . Now it`s rebooting on and on .. Dunno what baseband i`m on curently now .. recovery doesen`t work anymore .. :| All I now is that i`m on android 2.1 update 1 ( I think ) and i have a logcat that goes like this http://pastebin.com/index/LDgYKHkM ( sorry .. didn`t knew how to make pastebin apear here :> )
I`d appreciate if anyone could please read the logcat .. and give me a solution.

Sorry i cant help, i asked a friend to look but all he said was to repair with pc companion or use flashtool to flash new baseband. There is a thread in x8 development on basebands. Sorry i cant be more help, i only posted to assure u your not been ignored. Il keep asking and searching until i find an answer. Good luck and if you find a fix would you post here in the hope that othes that might have the same problem stumble upon it.

Thx ... really apreciate that u replied I`ve flashed the last few days some Roms .. and nothing seems to work :| The best i`ve got from an official Rom was about 7 hrs .. and then it went crazy again ) Now flashing the 1.6 :| I`m starting to think this is not a software related problem .

Its very strange, it may be the kernel thats at fault, my wife updated to 2.1 through pc companion but somehow kept the old kernel and her phone went crazy. Random reboots, wifi drop out and couldn't install large apps like angry birds. It may have been that she kept old baseband but upgraded the kernel, i forget now. But the problem was solved when they were both updated. Did you root each time you fixed it? Or does it still mess up without root?

1.6 seems to work properly .. so I don`t think it`s a hardware related problem ... now i`m really pissed!

Check the baseband so. It's sounds like your on old baseband. Flashtool should sort it and allow 2.1 update. There's a thread here somewhere, I'm on mobile app so can't post link. I'm having a few probs myself, just upgraded to new froyobread 2.3 and everything force close. Don't you just love technology.

phone. But I didn't fix this problem. In Cm12,in Cm11,inCm10.2 ,in Stock rom and in Enox Rom.
I am using Enox Reloded 2 now.
What should I do for fix my problem?

You aren't doing nothing wrong, our phone is slow.
But with the right configuration it can be good .
For me, the configuration in my signature work the best, try it.
( add greenify to this configuration )
