V6 Super charger with files
Prerequisites:
deodexed rom
Lengthy layman instructions:
Download starter kit (zip) and the rc11 script (pdf).
Download script manager from the google play.
Extract the zip (using file manager like root explorer or similar)
Open smanager ads (script manager)
chose browse with root
it will prompt SU permission, grant it.
now browse to the location where you extracted starter kit
chose start me.sh file
let it complete (let it use the files it says are the best, ex busybox etc). (running starter kit is a one time thing, you can safely delete it once done).
Now navigate to the rc11 script
open it
once it is running it ll ask if you want to use the optimized settings based on your ram. It is best to chose it. If not 1000hp or 786 are good.
i chose to use 3G tweaks (not sure if it does any good)
I use nitro lag nullifier as well
It ll ask you to change service.jar file (as we are using stock rom). Chose yes and select automagical install (make sure you are connected to internet over wifi/data).
It would be good to chose zip align and fix permissions as well.
Once done it ll ask you to super clean and restart, dont chose that.
exit
Now navigate to /data/99supercharge.sh and select to start it at boot (and give it super user permissions). As we are on stock rom it needs to run it on every reboot
Like wise you can set up zipalign/fix permissions on every boot (as it can help improve performance).
Now open rc11 file and go to 32 option (superclean and restart).
Done.
Please refer to the actual V6 supercharger thread for details as i am not the creator of this mod

Z, why revive a dead thread whos last post was in September. I can only give you one good advice. If you have to ask whether it works, or how to do ****, then don't bother to edit anything and stick to stock.
Just be patient and await the unlocked bootloader. Then you don't have to worry about **** because it'll all be clear then.

If you don't know the answer don't post a useless posts . And don't use those words ("**...") no need for them here .
He didn't ask you , he asked all of us so answering him is an optional choice .
And bootloaders do nothing for init.d .
Bootloader will let us use recovery & kernels nothing other that , every one thinks that the bootloaders will do everything for his phone .
And he can ask as this isn't break XDA rules .
@moss
Yes this will work , but for an easier way just download "pimp my rom" from play store and activate init.d from it .

Alright, so maybe I got a little over my head, but have you ever considered why this post is 5 months old. So before you ask an "optional question" like "does it work", why don't you do the world a bit of kind and just pm someone who is active on the forums, instead of reviving a 5 month old thread. This will not only encourage new users to partake in what I call, "non-ethical" behaviour. I don't expect everyone to understand, but what I'm trying to say is, try not to ask "non-development helping" questions. It irritates the crap out of me.

what is your problem in reviving an older thread? this thread is about "Creating init.d for LG O 4x HD" and he asked a question, relating to this topic/app/script. even if this thread is old, it's the best place to ask this question. opening an new thread just because of this little question would be garbage. and your idea about PM'ing someone is just hilarious in my opinion. how can you know who tried this? maybe you ask 10 people and noone tried this out? what then? ask another 10 and make them upset? no.
in my opinion did moss20 exactly the right thing :good:

Hey, it's not my problem if people like you prefer to spoon feed these users. I for one, personally dislike users who don't understand forum etiquette. In my opinion, if you are wise, you'll see the bigger picture that I am seeing. I understand where your perspective is coming from, but i can't say I support it. Asking questions that do not help in development, in the development section, always leads to petty forum spats like one now. I blame moss20 for not posting his question in the QnA section with a reference link to this thread.

I have added more soft keys to mine, all u need to do is edit the systemui.APK
The problem I'm having is that A) the from I'm using will not work with apktool in any way shape or form, B) when I did get it to work on one of the nightly builds of EOS I could not get the icons to stay symmetrical,
How every if u want to try for yourself read up on Modding the soft keys for ics,
I've written a few tuts on it over at rootzwiki, just search my user name over there and u will find them, its all in the galaxy nexus cmda thread.

Could you link to the tut about adding more soft keys, I can't find it and as I maintain the softkey theme thread would be great to add the search softkey.

There are a few, note the few difference between tab and phone is the nav bar is the soft key location on phone and its status bar on tab,
Also search android event key code and u can simple replace the key code that is called when u press a soft key, change a few pngs and presto new soft keys
If u have a question search my name I've answered almost every question about this stuff over at rootzwiki

also if u tell me what rom u are running and post your systemui.apk and framework-res.apk I can take a look at them and give u some more info, and also I can see if apktool will work on it

OK, its rather easy...almost easier to do from tab, using any root file manager just copy the apks from /system/ app and framework to your SD card and use dropbox( free app from marketplace) long press on the file and send select drop box and upload, one uploaded open drop box click on file and select option share, then copy link. Then paste link in thread,

You need to do some major cleaning up on your tutorial. It's so hard to understand the way you have it written out. Paragraph breaks would be a good place to start.

it's possible double rom on my note?

Hello I need some information, i'm italian sorry for my schoolastic english, do not lynched me for the request if you feel absurd. I love cyano from my first Android device (zte blade), but lately the link samsung-sky has become so strong that it makes me not make root on my note to avoid the failure of skygo, so I came up with an idea, some time ago I read that for s2 (my ex devices first of note) it was possible to have a dual boot and it possible to have 2 rom together and choose which to launch, now I wonder: can have the dual boot for my notes? so I keep as the main cyano and when I would use skygo i start the second rom (stock no root) in which only install skygo.
I hope I was clear, thanks for your attention and sorry again for my english and google translate

[TUT]Making Noozy Work For Ace

In my previous thread i had given the MOD compilation to get the best sound out of our Ace, where members constantly reported about the force closing of noozy studios 3.
!* WILL NOT WORK FOR USERS WITH Rwokesome Engine ON Simplicity v5 *!
So this is a tutorial for making noozy work, it sounds weird but it works like a charm(it did for me), so here it goes:
1) Install noozy on internal storage.
2) Go to your homescreen and long press the screen.
3) Select widget from the pop-up.
4) Choose any of noozy's widgets.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
5) Touch on the forward/next song button( it looks like ' >>| ').
6) If the song plays(it will) then Voila !
7) Proceed to your app menu and open noozy.
8) It wont force close from now on
Critics, please just follow the instructions step by step correctly and then and THEN ONLY comment.
Enjoy :victory:
I havent tried......neither i am gonna pass any critical comments. But one thing that i would like to ask is why did you make a new thread for this.?..you could have easily edited the previous thread. Moreover it would be difficult for newbies to find it. Did you give a link to this thread there?

Expected someone to ask.
My friend, if you had gone through my previous thread then you might have noticed a bunch of people asking, complaining the same thing again and again.
So i posted the fix right on that thread but as the posts increased, the pages did too obviously and i dont think that any of us check the mid pages. Its just the first n the last pages that we check. So yah the pages moved on n the newer people now asked me again....
Now you can only assume my face palming situation.
So yeah that is why i HAD to start a new thread.
My signature contains the link to this thread so i didnt give it there, instead mentioned that there is a thread for the fix.
Now you can just enjoy noozy or you can go on and report for the deletion.

You didnt understand what i said. Newbies wont even no that they can get to this mod through your signature....signatures wont show up on phone app. And yes as rahul said....you could have edited the OP ( Original post or Opening post .....whatever you may call it) . You can even change the topic...by mentioning new mods and editing date.

That is a very good point which had crossed my mind too, but it would've just made the OP very long which i do NOT prefer.
I know you guys are doing this so as to keep the general section clean(which i very much appreciate), but considering that the number of people making new threads for noobish questions,share roms etc. are too many, and hence my reason for opening a new thread can be very much accepted.
And most newbies visit XDA through computers.
Now can we just end this please ?:good:
Ok
We spare you xD
Enjoy
I didn't use the mod will give it a try

Lets assume there isnt anything wrong with you and my tutorials n MODs are corrupt, but then other members wouldn't appreciate my work. But they do. This contradiction has arrived because of our incorrect assumption.
Therefore, something's definitely wrong with YOU.
