xda premium....well worth it
Xda same with tapatalk.font size still small. It only can select 2 font size.
I'm just using the standard browser of the GT8.9 (which is way better than dolphin, opera & the rest in my opinion) and it works perfect for this forum (in landscape mode).
I feel opera better.

i can't stand not having tabbed browsing so i uninstalled all my forum apps. both standard browser and opera are fine for me.
I also wish there would be a larger font option in the App besides two they have now.

Personally, I use tapatalk HD for this. Hands down one of the best app around when it comes to forum.

I can't seem to locate this 8.9 forum using the xda app.
It lists the old 8.9 Dev forum under 10.1, but not this one.
Or maybe I'm just sleepy and need to go to bed?

Rocket rom ics 4.0.3 v 1.3

Anyone else having problems with the ics browser?. It crashes if you type in the browser adress, fast. If you type very slowly, it works.
Sent from my GT-I9220 using Tapatalk
Install chrome or dolphin. Why you still stuck on the stock browser?
I dont think it suck. I just think its bad it doesnt work. Had dolphin. Think stock is better. Chrome isnt available in norway.
But i love the ics! So smooth.

I've tested all these browsers completely.
The ICS+ browser on the market is really good in that it has a permanent desktop setting and some nice gestures.
The only two third party browsers that hold up ( in terms of downloading heavy sites fast) are boat browser mini, and Opera Mobile. Now havent done my 5site test ina while and things might have changed a bit but the other browser whilefeature friendly are just slightly slower...or more than slightly in some cases.
Nice! Thanks man.

I use the rocket rom ics. Any difference in the browser there, and the ics browser in marked? Or is it just the OS that is unstable? Or the rom?

Have to use 1 process in " process in background" settings. Then the ics browser wont crash

I think Google Chrome (the beta version) was for ics, so I think that when we have a complete ics rom, we´ll can use Google Chrome in Samsung Galaxy Ace.
If I´m not right, please correct me, because I´m not sure if Google Chrome was for every Android 4 devices or only for Galaxy Nexus.
Sorry if I don´t talk very good in English, It´s because I´m Spanish and I´m Studying English, so I´ll try to talk in English as well I can
Nope.. Google chrome For android works only on devices with an armv7-processor.
The ace has an armv6..

That's a modded browser not Chrome.
Chrome hasn't been ported for ARMv6 yet.
Firefox, on the other hand, is under development by the Mozilla Team. Google for it.

flash player makes my browsers close on JB. It's not compatible anymore. I kept mine installed and froze the apk with titanium so I can use it for apps that don't crash. But like I said, all browsers I've tried crash with adobe installed on JB

Yeah i had some issue with browser, to be honest with u all of them behaving little bit strange.
Flipboard also going crazy from time to time.
I'll check that idea with freezing flash.
Why do people keep asking for flash on jellybean!?! when adobe said in December or January that no more flash after Android 4.0 also know as ice cream sandwich if you want flash stay on ics

No... He's right... We've known about this for a while. Flash is old technology it's getting abandoned. If you can't part with it stick to ICS....

U were right, every time I'm trying to access sites/pages with flash content on it, my browsers/Flipboard r going crazy.
Nothing left than freeze that baby.
This sucks.
Hopefully there will be some solution/walkaround.

I always found it to be pretty janky.

No defaults are set, that is why i am asking this
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Install Opera or Chrome from play store and whenever your phone is trying to open a webpage it will ask for a selection of browser. You can choose from that and set it to default by checking the option present at the bottom
Cheers
