Possibly not enough RAM available. Have you tried to close apps or reboot?

XDA is an Android and Windows Phone forum. Moved to Off-topic.
Looks like even this thread might close hehe..
Anyways, a reply to your question - even my friend had faced this problem i think, mayne the browser was different or something like that. Dunno exactly what.
I can't even ask you to fix permissions using rom manager or via recovery xD
Sent from Hell!!
Have you tried wiping browser cache and data? Try force closing it too. If not, you can always go to recovery and fix permissions. Oh.. wait...

I see that moving this to Off-topic was a mistake.

I just got my tablet yesterday and it seems to crash pretty often... it would vibrate once, freeze, then vibrate a few more times before it freezes and FC whatever I'm doing.
What should I do?
(From what I can tell, the sprint version is the least popular version )

Try to root it first, and change your rom and kernel. Did you install any applications or whatever that are, well, funny?
Moved to Q&A.........
Nope no funny stuff, completely stock. A lot of people have problem roofing the sprint one after ota so I didn't bother... guess I'll give it a shot.

hi guys, i used galaxy note (LA4)
after rooting LA4 and installing Abyss 3.4, rocket v20 and Rocketv20 JKay StockLook "'JKay Mod Alpha3" which was included in the rocket website, i downloaded applanet app from applanet.net website. i installed it but when i execute the app, the app says there was a network error and there are no updates or lists of apps i can download..
is there any way for me to make this work? Thanks guys in advance.
This is a widely spread problem, I think.
I handled it by clearing the cache and clearing all data of applanet.
Then it worked for me.
Otherwise it can be that the server is offline.
Here you can see, that the app server is currently offline.
http://applanet.tumblr.com/
Hey thanks for the quick reply. Wheb i see the website it shows two images showing on and offline with 1 year old marks ob bottom of each picture. How can you tell that its offline? Do you know it by the fact that offlibe is on top?
Sorry my bad.
You can see the status at the site http://applanet.net/.
Well it says "online", but no apps are shown too.
Maybe you can delete all data of applanet, redownload and reinstall the apk.
If this doesn't work i think it's because of the high popularity of applanet, maybe you'll reach it 10 minutes later.
Haha what?? Wow I didn't even know apps like app planet existed! I downloaded it and it didn't work for me either...says network problem....are there any other apps like it?

Last time I looked, Applanet is a Warez source, and as such should not be discussed on XDA.
Just sayin'

Here...
but since its down tomuch, i start using

have fun
I'm wondering if periodically clearing this is a good idea?
I was wondering because there is a lot of stuff in there, and I'm guessing this affects my usable cache??
Also with the V8 update downloading to my phone and me deferring the install, I wasn't able to update an app due to insufficient space.
So clearing it a good idea, or not? Also where is the stupid V8 update so I can delete it.
Dalvik gets made everytime the phone reboots. Clearing it wouldn't hurt anything but unless you have uninstalled apps that get loaded at boot then its kinda pointless.

rom links dead
I fixed the links. All links for the ROM and Gapps are posted on the Downloads page of my site from now on. Just follow the link.
I just switched back to Hanger's ROM from CM9 and I must say, even though it doesn't get as high of benchmarks, it feels a whole lot snappier and there seems to be 0 lag in his ROM. Very pleased and will probably use it as a daily driver now. Thanks a bunch for your hard work. Hope everything in your family is OK now.

I've learned after years of computer use and building and repairing them that benchmarks don't always mean anything. Benchmarks rarely test the average performance that a user will experience.

I'm still getting an internal server error when I try the link. Maybe it's just me.
Edit: I just went www.Hanger84.net/rom downloads and it worked fine for me.

Links should be working...yet again. Dunno what the hell is cause the links to get screwed up, unless someones deliberately messing with them...
I just went to ad fly homepage and manually entered the download code or whatever to the end of the URL. Worked for me.
Rom ui looks awesome. Running smooth so far. Little bit of keyboard lag but that's par for the course with ics from my experience. Can tell you put a lot of time into this.

OK its been a few hours now and the keyboard lag is getting really bad in some instances. Also, in the messaging app, hitting the button to start a new convo just crashes back to the home screen. That's all I've really noticed so far.

Hanger doesn't check this thread regularly; if you have a "bug," see OP and report it in the bug tracker so it can be addressed in the next update.
Are you guys using the stock keyboard? Give swiftkey beta 3 a shot or the new JB one

Did you make sure and do a full wipe first? You didn't by chance restore data with TBU did you?
I've been running this ROM for weeks and I don't have either bug on my install.

Love the ROM but have some lag...
I'm having lag to the point of frozen. I've had to pull the battery about 4 times in the last 3 days. It's not related to USB issues since I'm not plugged in when it happens. The apps (not any in particular) seem to overload the phone's ability to process. If I'm lucking it reboots - otherwise it's a battery pull.
I did restore data using TBU and I'm using the "lazy" kernel configuration.
Other than that I really love this ROM. Seriously. It has every buzzer and whistle I could hope for and they all work.

Yeah when i was testing for Hanger and i ran in to similar probs in the alpha builds don't restore data via tbu. the problems for me went away when i didn't. Also double check your cwm version, make sure it's the newest for the inc.

Hi all,
My first post, and as of yesterday my first custom ROM. Despite some sweaty moments it worked fine thanks to the guidance on this forum and some leaps of faith Can't reply to the relevant thread directly since I'm n00b.
Was very happy with this, however one killer issue that's meant I've had to revert to stock is that Google Talk (installed via GApps link with the ROM) crashes to desktop (no FC dialog) when i attempt to use voice or video within it. Skype seems to work fine though. Anyone else experienced this? I haven't seen it previously reported on here which makes me think maybe I didn't clear something properly (I used cwm recovery 5.5.0.4 to wipe cache, factory reset and clear dalvik prior to flash). I tried repeating the entire upgrade twice from scratch but same issue is still apparent.
Thanks for the coolness and hopeful for some help and further development.

Hey.
You're not the only one. I have the same issue with Google Talk. I, like you, thought that I wasn't installing something right. I even went as far as using an outdated gapps package, namely 20120726, to no avail. If you've gotten help with this, please let me know. Otherwise, I have no idea what else to do. I don't want to revert to stock because, quite frankly, its terrible. Also, to anyone else reading this, any help would be appreciated.
Try uninstalling talk after you've flashed the Rom and then reinstalling it. Had a similar problem with Google search.

I just checked the tablet and i dont see an option for uninstalling the app. just force close and disable. I also checked the play store to try and download the app, but i dont see it in there. maybe i'm missing something? like i said before, any help would be appreciated.
I'm not familiar with Google talk, is it the same as voice. To uninstall you'll need tibu or something like that.
I did find talk to chat in the play store which maybe the same thing you're talking about

Hey, I just want to thank you for your response. Its been a big help. Unfortunately, google talk isn't the same as voice. Its the chat client that is found in gmail and stuff. They just have a separate app for it on android devices. I think i may just use skype to video chat since i can't seem to find a fix for this and I can't bring myself to go back to the stock rom. If anyone happens to find a fix or knows of one, please let us know. Thanks.

gtalk doesn't work
My first ROM as well and facing the same problem with GTalk. Skype & Hangout on Google+ works fine. I was also wondering probably i missed a step.
But this ROM is so awesome don't want to restore. Other problems I am facing is that USB is not getting recognized on tablet and 3G not working. Any of you facing similar problem with 3G and USB?

As far as 3G, my tablet is the WiFi only, so I can't help you there.
With the usb, have you tried turning on the MTP setting? When you connect the tablet, go to settings>storage> and in the upper right hand side of the screen, if you press on the 3 dot things, you are going to see USB computer connection. press that and you will see the option to turn on MTP. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the replies, glad to know I'm not alone with g talk. Finally got stock ics ota but it's terrible! Prime example is Swype keyboard often appears the size of a credit card. Going back to cm as soon as talk fixed also had the USB issue but didn't try the workaround
