Just replace SystemUI.apk in System\app\SystemUI.apk. But don't forget backup the original.

You will have to unzip the contents of the zip file and then transfer them to the device. I f you downloaded the file from the website on the device itself then use an app like AndroZip File Manager[/URL]

My battery percentage seems off by 5%. Icon says 85 but system showing 90. Anyway to calibrate?
doesnt work on mine
Got this one from the nexus 7 forum. It works, however, it'll override the transparent status bar on pa 2.14 and up. Flash with cwm or twrp. It might give you some virus/malware warning during the flash but my tab is fine.

Here is some coffee your way.
Just added a photo so you see what you get
getting installation aborted for some reason
which link?
I found the problem. When I download the file from UOT kitchen to my mac the files get unzipped then I have to rezip it which causes the problem. Anyone have a fix let me know. I am working on reuploading the files now.
dmrusoff you should be good to go, I fixed the files and new links are posted.
For future reference if anyone is downloading zip files on a mac and the file gets unzipped go to safari, preferences then go to the general tab and uncheck the Open "safe" files after downloading.
This will fix the problem with having to rezipping the file and causing the error when trying to flash the zip file.
Cool, so I was able to flash it over. Works good, except the green is a different color than the wifi and signal bars.
Yea I don't know what color the signal icon is to match it. If anyone one knows let me know and I will make new files with the correct colors.

Here you go. I don't remember where I got these but you can simply overwrite the 204 icons inside the framework-res.apk. Your framework-res.apk must already be modded for the 1% battery mod prior to dropping these into the framework-res.apk.
Make sure to use 7Zip and simply open up the framework-res.apk and navigate to \framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi. Then drag all the icons into this folder and overwrite the existing icons.
Hope this helps

take a zip from a rom down load or a theme you downloaded and delete all the files out, leave the meta-inf alone dont touch it now place your file in the right folder.. for systemui.apk place it in system/app folder and flash it it recovery.
Better use this empty update zip made by he_stheone64, it's easier: http://www.multiupload.com/THCTLMRDBU
Btw, copying the whole drawable-hdpi also changes other stuff, better extract the SystemUI.apk from the theme, find the right icons and drag and drop them into the original SystemUI.apk (don't extract this one) from your rom. Then put it in the update zip and flash it.
Remember to do a backup first.

If it's too slow for you just change the fps in desc.txt but it should be ok
And before downloading, backup your previous boot animation by renaming it from htc_bootanimation.zip to htc_bootanimation.old
Instructions (htc rom)
1) Download the boot animation (rename it to htc_bootanimation.zip if needed)
2) Download root explorer
3) Open root explorer
4) Browse to system/customise/resource
5) Rename htc_bootanimation.zip to htc_bootanimation.old
6) Browse to the location you have saved the file
7) Copy the file to system/customize/resource
8) Make sure the permissions is set to rw r r
9) Reboot

Hello everyone
This got me with a real headache for all the day!
I wanted to install stock Swype on my Atrix HD with Carbon ROM.
Couldn't do it with a normal Titanium Backup restore, looked for some information on internet, and found that Swype needs a special file called "libSwypeCore.so" on /system/lib to work.
Then, I went to look for that file on my NAND backup of stock Moto ROM... It was not on /system/lib!
For everyone to know, the file is on /system/vendor/lib... Don't know why Motorola put it there, but there it is!
So... if you want to get your stock Swype on custom ROMs, just copy this file on /system/lib after restoring Swype with Titanium Backup (so you won't lose your personal dictionary), and there it is! Swype on your custom ROM!
Hope this helps.
Greetings,

How would I get stock Swype if I didn't correctly do a titanium backup. @skeevydude gave me the stock apk for it. When I did the backup I saved it to the internal drive and wiped that when I installed Pac. I really want stock Swype, I really dislike Swype+dragon. Let me know how I can do this. Thanks

I installed the stock Swype apk and copied that file to the folder your specified. I uninstalled Swype+dragon. I get an error message "Unfortunately, Swype has stopped."
You should first uninstall any form of Swype on your AHD. Then, copy the Swype apk to /system/app, check permissions (read for all, write only for user), and then open the Swype.apk to "install" it.

After doing that, copy the .do file on /system/lib, and try to activate Swype. Renember that this file must have the same permissions.
Don't know if it will work, but it should. I restored the apk via Titanium Backup and it worked.

Nevermind, i'm assusing that the .7z is a zip that I need to extract.
@leanix,
after extracting and added that file to the correct location, it works!!! I'm not sure if I will keep it or not, I like the themes available on the other version of Swype.
So I decided to extract all the new round Pixel Icons from the 7.1 system dump and compile them all into one zip. I removed the old zip and replaced with a new zip with icons from 8.1.
