CWM is optimized for GB maybe... If u are able to go in download mode just upgrade to GB via odin and then install CWM 5 zip
Install Samsung drivers.... Then odin will detect ur device

Bricked!! Help please!!!

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 7310 and it gets stuck at the logo. I can enter into download and recovery, even install the CMW recovery, but it does not get me acess to the internal memory, so i can´t install the previuos rom. Odin recognizes the tablet, buy I have tried a lot of roms (PDA´s) and it always gets stuck in the process, especifically when "writting image system". Any solution? Any rom flasheable with Odin which includes also PIT, Bootloader, CSC and Phone?
Thank you very much for your help guys!

Try this.. Go to download mode and install a custom kernel.. Then try flashing a new ROM by flashing pit file first..
Sent from my fingers to your face using xda premium.!
Or try a full wipe from cwm

It shouldn't matter if you use 32 of 64-bit windows, but when I flashed my Samsung Galaxy from x64 platform it became messed up. Ran it from my netbook with windows7 starter 32 bit, worked like a charm. Maybe it's the computer your flashing from and you should try another.
if u installed a new rom, then wipe data and dalvik... I bootlooped my phone when I didn't do that... try it...
If u have just flashed new rom u should wipe data/cache and reflash if it doesn't work flash via Odin, and should be ok

[Q] Brick my Tablet 8.9 (Problem Solved)

My Tab already back to normal, Thanks :good:
Dear all, i cut the crap:
I did brick my samsung tablet 8.9"
Before I already had manage to upgrade my tab into ICS base on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1893456 with "
[ROM][ICS][OFFICIAL][P7300] P7300ZSLP7 stock+rooted+voice calls" and upgrade the kernel into 1.8.2 based on A1
But some reason now i can't restart the tablet, I did manage to reinstall the CWM v5.xxx from ODIN because before i accidently installed the CWM with touch screen support (don't ask, my stupid mistake because downloading the CWM for the tab 2 for my father and installed it).
Now, my tab only showing samsung logo, but still capable to go to CWM v5.xx and recovery mode.
I did want to ask, is that possible to install CWM v6.xx based on kallt ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21194554&postcount=2 ) from ODIN? I did tried download the zip but the ODIN only recognized tar files, so i tried two ways: extract and repackaged it (failed) and trying to converse it (also failed).
Anyone can tutor me how to install CWM based on kallt from ODIN? Maybe after that, my proble solve.. Thanx
You're not hard bricked, if you were you couldn't get the logo. I'm assuming you can get into down load mode and Odin recognizes the tab. Flash the stock Rom with Odin. You can find the Rom at sammobile.com

[Q] GT-N7000 not booting after Upgrading philz_touch_6.07.9-n70

Hi Team XDA,
Few Days Back I have Rooted my Samsung Galaxy GT-N7000. I went to Philz's Custom Recovery and upgraded it to 6.07.9.
Process went on Successfully. But when I Re Booted my phone. I could only see "SAMSUNG GALAXY GT-N7000" Logo followed with Blank/Black screen.
Did I install a Custom recovery which Do not support my phone? Coz I saw last 4 letters of my Kernel name and then downloaded it.
Did my phone went to BootLoop? or i Bricked it.
Please Suggest.
