Hard brick - Huawei Ideos X6

I know it's a wrong section...
I have axioo vigo 410 (similary with ideos X6), I try to install ideos Rom to my axioo, I do that cause my axio can't passed boot logo, altough I use factory reset from cwm...
I use Software update from other section n flash ideos ROM, but on process, it can't flashed, after that I plug out my cable data, n my axioo won't boot altough to the recovery...
Is it hard brick?, how do I solved it?
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app

do a fastboot mode and put cable data on your device, open command promt (cmd) type 'chkdsk /f f:' (without quote)
*change f: with whatever your images partition shown on your computer
if its done do the flashing with sutlr again..
i hope it will help you..

how to get a fastboot mode?

dude while entering fastboot phone won't vibrate. Please keep in mind recovery mode and fast mode is different.
Recvery mode : Power + Volume UP +Volume Down ------ Phone vibrate while entering recovery mode
Fast Boot Mode : Power + Volumen UP ----- no vibration

are flashing this rom? http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3781&tb=1
if yes, go to axioo service center. because it happened to me once, and even SUTLR can't detect download mode anymore. it just take 3 days on CSL service center, just reprogram/reflash it with their tool IMHO,

Entering recovery mode

Long story short, i need to get to the Recovery Mode without using the hardware buttons.
My home button broke, i was trying to flash stock rom from pc odin (to sent it to warranty), and now i cannot setup my phone (i'am stuck at the welcome screen, some processes FC), maybe because i did not wipe data.
So, can i enter the recovery mode without the home button? Via abd commands?
I can only enter download mode as i do not need the home button.
Or, is there some way to wipe data / factory reset via download mode?
Flash simply wipe rom with pc odin.
But how can get.download mode without home button ?with jig?

I can't seem to find that.
No, pull the baterry, insert it, then connect my phone (while turned off) to the pc + volume down. Doesn't work with volume up tho
Find on post #3 of first link on my.signature, you can find some wipe ROM there.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
That's odd, because that's the stock ROM i flashed ( N7000OXXLB3 ) .. But i think it did not wipe.
I will try to flash it again.
EDIT: Same thing, it seems to only format cache?
This is driving me nuts , am i screwed?
No, wipe.version.should wipe.data too.
Just confirm that rom is.wipe or not
Extract 1 step deep (to .tar) if you can see.data.img file is there, then only it is wipe rom.

Thanks, let me try another ROM .
Ok , i'am a little stupid, did not see the (WIPE VERSION) all around the names of the ROMS lol . I will choose one of them
if you just want to go to recovery mode.. minus your hardware button... no need for all the hassles....
look for an app in google play called quick reboot... it needs root though but when you tap on that app.. one of the options there is recovery... you can boot your phone on recovery just by installing and simply using that app and with your phone(rooted)
He has already use pc odin to flash rom, so naturally.won't have root, and juat doing for warranty purpose, so i don't think he.shud flash custom kernel to get root.with pc odin, as in defected device, you can't take chance to raise counter.

The thing is, i don't have access to the system, i'am stuck at the welcome screen.
I'm downloading a wipe ROM, i think it will be solved.
ok doc my bad... I missed some points there..

You can enter recovery with adb...enable usb debugging, plug the phone and open a cmd as admin in the pc. Then type: adb reboot recovery...Done!!
See above, i did not have access to the system

Broken Power button

Hi..
One of my friends has a Note but his power button is broken. He hasn't really contacted service center for repair coz he didn't really miss anything about the button..but now if he wants to root...flash rom etc..is it even possible to do that without a functional power button?
Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks

there are mods for ics .. like a toggle for reboot .. which when u press gives 3 options (reboot / recovery / download).
but i dont think it will be possible to boot in to recovery without the power button if the phone has a bootloop or stuck at startup.
You can flash roms but it would be really dangerous
If anything goes wrong after flashing a rom and got stuck, you cant enter recovery or download mode

Can you explain more details.
No adb-windows.exe this directory.
And what we do?
Read the build file damn.. we have full access to recovery .. on a powered on phone... forget the recovery ..
# Enable RecoverySystem to emit "factory-reset" reset string
# instead of "recovery" when doing a factory reset. This is
# useful when implementing factory reset without the entire
# recovery framework.

If you do the adb reboot recovery just once you should be able to boot into recovery by holding Power + Menu buttons.

Another method
1. Up the new rom that is rooted by odin. That's mean your phone has rooted
2. You install quick boot app from the market play. Then open quick boot and hit recovery

yeah, it also works with rom toolbox (-> rebooter -> reboot in recovery) and rom manager (-> reboot in recovery).

Bricked a I9000 with Vodoo

Hi all,
Yesterday i bricked my phone. I can't enter the download modus I hope someone can help me.
On the device was installed original Froyo 2.2
To root I installed via Odin I9000XWJVH_-_I9000XENJV4 and did a repartition > so far so good
after that i installed a kernel called CF-Root-XW_XEE_JS7-v1.3-BusyBox-1.15.3 via Odin > after that i only could update with update.zip. That was no option.
So i searched for a another kernel with CLOCKWORKMOD. I choose [KERNEL] Advanced Voodoo v666.1+2 (CLOCKWORKMOD 3/VOODOO SOUND/OC+UV) for Gingerbread 2.3.3. I installed voodoo-kernel-XWJVH-v1.4.tar. > He passed the flash via Odin.
Right now when i start the phone i only see the Samsung image and i can't enter the download or recovery modus. I hear a voice saying " convert data partition" then she said "not enough space on partition"
What can i do? Use a USB Jig?
can you enter recovery mode or download mode ?

OHH....I mean, instead pressing Vol. Up+ Vol. Down+home+power to get in recovery,
you need to press home+power+up+down (fast!!!!)
You need to have the keys pressed before phone vibration ends ! If you see clockworkmod logo under phone model, release the keys!

Wow .. Your solution is easier than mine I should have known that method earlier ... Usually .. when I stuck in bootloop ... I will Force the phone to enter Recovery Mode ...
1.Press the Download Mode Key Combination ( VOL down + Home + Power )
2.After that, the phone will warn you right ?? Choose cancel (VOL down)
3.After you pressed Vol Down the phone will try to reboot .
4.When the phone try to reboot, press the Recovery Mode key combination BUT without pressing power button. Press ONLY the three button.
5.The phone will enter recovery Mode.
6.Full wipe the Phone and/or restore your backup.
It works for me EVERYTIME ..
If it is not working for you, just try again .. Your timing in STEP 4 must be PERFECT !!
