[Q] HALP.... installing cm7 rc1 please

How the hell do i get cm7 on my i9000?
Im running the stock rooted 2.3.4 with the help of odin and a nice tutorial.
Can someone please point me to the proper method {tutotial} ...
This is not my first Android but is my first Samsung and i swear this is killing me

You need to flash stock froyo, then a kernel with cwm, before you flash cm7 in recovery make sure you go to mounts and storage, format system, data, cache, datadata and wipe dalvik cache, then flash rc1

Do I need to restock if I want to install another ROM?

Hello everyone,
I was able to successfully installed Overcome ROM using the guide on the Overcome website.
Now I want to taste the ICS ROM like CM9 or AOKP.
If I want to install those ROM's, Do i need to restock it again but don't install the Overcome ROM or I can copy the ROM to my SD and install it from Recovery?
Maybe someone can give brief step by step procedure. thanks a lot.

If you are using overcome ROM then just wipe data/factory reset and wipe dalvic cache. Then follow the instruction of flashing the ics ROM you want, you will find it in the first post.

AOKP SGT7 bro! it has best of both worlds I think.

I tried to install a rom from stock rom to this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410662
After i flash it by cwm. Then i keep rebooting with lg logo....
So i restored my phone to stock rom again by flash with kdz
Can somebody tell me what dd i do wrong....
And how can i flash this rom

I think you need to go into some studies of how you root your phone, before flashing ROMs. Look for NV-flash!!!

Did you do it correctly?
delete the cache and dalvik cache then restore defaults/format or somethign then install the .zip or did you just install the zip?

You mean double wipe? I did.

If you are on stock rom, first install CWM, then wipe/data ,wipe/cache then install rom, if it is not helped try to format / system/data/ then try it should work.

you have to install on a clean 20s.

[Q] Please help....

As am using the SGSII JB ROM v11.2 [7/3/2013] ROM, It got stuck after some time..After that i will have to switch off the phone. This makes annoying. Please help ??

Reinstall the rom with full wipe.
And format cache and dalvic cache after you will complitly install the rom.

There are some issues with that ROM ...don't worry ..if you want change your ROM

When I use mebitek rom lastet rom
11/11/2011 I can't connect to my wifi but with another rom I can connect. I follow this to install it.
1.wipe data&factroy rest
2..wipe cache partition
3...install the rom
4....install gapps
5.....wipe diveliek cache
6......wipe battery status
7.......Reboot

Wrong section...

Right.
You need to post your question on the corresponding section or on the dev thread of the rom.
And the problem is you didnt wipe data and cache after you flash the rom.
