Ouufffff.
Here it is!...
Galaxy s (gt-i9000m) was with Bell
UNlocked to use with another provider
Screwed up patter lock, Gmail not working (possibly because i changed providers?!?!?)
Three button recovery does NOT work on this firmware.
USB debugging is OFF (cannot turn it on!!!!) Kies, Odin don't detect.
I can however call from my home phone and answer and talk, but anything else returns me to the ''too many pattern attempts''
Is there any way to activate USB debugging other than through the phone.
I tried the call-myself-answer-press-a-button, No go!!
What are my options other than sending it to get repaired?
thanks

Hello guys, I am sorry if this kind of question has been asked and answered already, but I couldn't find it.
I want to use cracked paid apps on my phone. I know I have to unlock the phone first and then download a .xap file and load it on my phone. I am completely new at this and have no idea how it's done. Could someone please explain to me step-by-step how to do it? Thank you in advance.

from which region is your phone?
I am not really sure because I bought it used. The loading screen says O2. I am from Bulgaria, so I guess it's somewhere from Europe.

Did you get the box with it? If yes is there any signs that it is the German or English o2 device?
No, I didn't get the box. Isn't there a way to check this? And is this so important? I thought the process of unlock was the same for all European devices.

Its not the same for every hd7 device. If you want to know from which o2 provider it comes you need to hard reset your phone, the language it boots up is the native language if I'm right.

you hard reset like this: you power down your device and then when you push the power button and the volume down + volume up buttons all together and hold it until a white screen with blue letters pops up.
This says it will delete all my personal information. I don't want to do that.

Nice! Okay here we go,
What you need
Micro SD Card or SD Card: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-micr...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334328013&sr=1-1
Card reader: http://www.amazon.com/Micro-SD-Card...98/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1334328085&sr=8-11
Y-Cable USB: http://www.amazon.com/Utstarcom-Uni...BM/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1334327842&sr=8-17
USB Gender Changer: http://www.amazon.com/USB-Gender-Ch...N4UY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334327986&sr=8-1
First download this
Schubert_HD7_O2_UK_GoldCard Pack : http://ul.to/pw4y404k
1.Make sure you're battery is above 50%
2.Format the MicroSD Card to fat32
3.Copy the .nbh Image to the MicroSD Card
4.Launch Goldcard Tool
5.While ignoring the cid box, choose "Load GoldCard.img" and select the goldcard.img you just downloaded
6.Press "Patch MMC" and wait for confirmation
7.Unplug the MicroSD Card
8.Connect the Y-Cable and the USB-gender-changer like shown in the picture
9.Connect the MicroSD-Card
10.Connect your phone
11.Connect the y-cable to an ordinary usb port
12.Hold Power+Camera+VolumeDown until the USB Host Mode appears
13.Wait about 30 min until the update completes. The phone may reboot a couple of times.
14.After the update completed, unplug your phone and reboot
Now your spl should be downgraded.
A simple click on the "Thanks" button would be appreciated
Regards, Thomas

You can also build your own Y-cable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCnhb8BfVfg&sns=tw
But to answer your question, there is no other fix yet.
Oh, I guess I'll never unlock my phone. Thanks for the help though.
:what:
Ok, I have some spare cables at home so I might try to build my own USB-Y cable. I have an embedded (is this what it's called) card reader on my laptop. Can I use that or it has to be a separate device?

No you need an external card reader
OK, I'll get a card reader.
Just to clarify, if I do this, I won't lose any of the information on my HTC and will be able to use applications that I've downloaded from the Internet, right?

Assuming you're trying to GSM unlock, you need to be rooted and do that command in Android Terminal Emulator.
However, you can just use this and it will do it automatically.

Same issue
I have an unlocked Sprint HTC One M7, but it kept dropping the network. After some research, I was led to believe that if I changed the setting to WCDMA Preferred, I wouldn't have to keep selecting T-Mobile as my network. I dialed *#*#4636#*#* and changed the necessary setting, but it did not work. THEN I became curious and accidentally selected some kind of lock. I erased my entire OS and had to flash a Stock Rom (Rooted and Deodexed however) using OTG/USB. BUT THE PHONE IS STILL LOCKED :crying:. Someone who knows what they are doing please help me with this $500 Paperweight. I'm learning the hard way apparently. BTW, I don't care about the SIM unlocking issue anymore. I just need to be able to use the phone.

Kk. I've tried to do the fix even though it probably wouldn't affect anything, and it didn't work. It might've been because I was on 4.4.2, and the guide was probably made when Jelly Bean was out, so Sprint might've patched it. Anyways, let me know if you get it working and post your steps on how you did it if you followed it differently.

For mentioned model i do not get any type of Bootloader interface detected as hardware in device menager. Which also means i can not access it from adb in order to unlock bootloader. I have found some talk about switching into Unlock mode from Odin mode but can not find a way to do it. This also happens while i did USB debbiging and OEM unlock set on. I have latest Pie on it if that makes any difference.
I hope anyone has some advice on how to solve this and that you in advance

Here is what ODIN shows when I try to flash TWRP https://imgur.com/raTPoPA
