^ they're pretty much the same... actually, have you tried using Root Explorer or ES file explorer to look for it.Don't forget to mount your Data first before copying...
Yes i have rooted, on my galaxy s in the root of root browser i have a dir called /datadata on the N7000 i dont have /datadata could it be cause with the unofficial ics i had on my I9000 /datadata was a shortcut to /data/data?

I guess it's in the
Sdcard/android/data folder

if you use ROOT Explorer, the Data folder (on the Note) is actually found in -- > /mnt/sdcard/data
Ok thanks for that, im guessing that /datadata on my I9000 was just a ahortcut to /data/data.

You have to set permissions of the apk as rw-r--r-- using root explorer or similar explorer.

Also mnt/storage or mnt/ext_storage. They're the default mount points on any stock rom.

After flashing pacrom 4.2.2 my GPS cannot fix on my location. Is there a fix?
A mate had same problem & he found a solution on xda. He downloaded a file & copied it to a file called "etc" with root browser.
Does anybody know where I can find it?

1. Extract the file
2. Replace "hosts" file in /system/etc
3. Mount /system as R/W and set the permissions as "rw-r-r" then unmount /system as R/O
This should work on any rom
