[Q] 2 Darky's problems

First off, sorry for posting here but I'm not allowed to post anywhere else.
I flashed Darky's 9.5 to my captivate last night and am having 2 problems with it.
The first is that the home button just acts as a second back button.
The second is that when you plug a headphone jack all the way in, the sound still comes from the phone. However, when the plug is just halfway in the sound plays through the car speakers. I'm guessing this is a darky's issue since the audio worked fine the day before.
I am using mixzing for music app if it makes a difference
You could have posted in the Darky's sticky at the top of this forum.
What ^ he said. You are more likely to get a faster answer posting in the Q&A thread.

[Q] ICS Headphones not recognized?

I upgraded my Vibrant to Onecosmic's ICS for Galaxy S, and it runs extremely well, however, my headphones are no longer recognized when they are plugged in. Even when headphones are plugged in, music plays through the external speaker. In addition, sounds are also played through the external speaker. I have tried clearing user data/cache/dalvik, but no success. I even tried flashing TeamHacksung's ICS ROM and it didn't recognize the headphones either. I tried with two different sets, one full sized and one set of earbuds. Before ICS the headphones were recognized with no issue, so I'm fairly sure its not a hardware problem. Is this a known issue with ICS or is this just me? I searched through a few pages on Onecosmic's post and found no mention, although it could be in there with the 500+ pages...
Also, as a side issue, the volume rocker buttons seem to have been reversed, with the "up" button turning the volume down, and vice-versa. It not only occurs in Android, but also in CWM. Anyone else experiencing this? Again, this was not noticed before ICS.
For reference, my previous ROM was CM7.
For me too
Hello
I have installed cm9 modded rom with 2.6.x kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1403113
I have the same problem in ics on my desire/bravo, any solution for this problem?
Must be a vibrant-only bug. My GT-I9000 recognizey my bluetooth headphones and my cable headphones.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I have been using TeamHacksung's ICS ROM build 12
But dont have any such problem...
everything is working fab..
Same here it doesn't work on my SGS "team ICSSGS RC3.1".
I able to listen to songs but headset controls are not working.
For voice calls the volume is very feeble.
Searched all over the ICSSGS thread but no luck.
Any help/fix would be appreciated.
works for me on teamhacksung build 14 without any problem
I have ICS from team Hacksung on my Fascinate. I get the sound through my headset but have no control of audio from headsets. Mic does not work either. Any idea?

[Q] [q] No audio on speaker rear

Hello guys,
My galaxy s advance is no audio on speaker rear. I was watching Netflix, and suddenly, the audio goes out. But, there is audio on speaker front. I can conversation.
The room was 2.3.6. Now, I changed to 4.1.2 with another kernel, but the problem is still.
Could be a hardware problem's problem? Or I should back to 2.3.6?
Thank you
If audio went out during using not right after upgrade i would think of hardware issue.
It happened on (stock?) 2.3.6 and you upgraded to JB after, or it happened on JB with custom kernel?
I know there are some mods that can put more power to speaker (making it louder than standard) - maybe you were using that kind of mod and it just burned your speaker with too much power pushed to it.
To rule out system / drivers / etc errors go back to configuration that it was working on (stock GB or sth).
If it will be dead on that ROM then it is completely dead and I guess you will need to bring it to service center (clear your custom binary counter for warranty - there is thread on how to do it here on xda)

Stereo Speaker Test in Service Menu

*UPDATE*
Sorry, used the wrong forum - started new thread in xperia tablet z4 device forum, this can be deleted
I´ve tried the stereo speaker test in Service menu today and i´m a bit confused - on screen, left speaker is shown while testing but sound comes of right speaker, then right speaker is shown but sound comes out of left speaker...is that normal or is there something wrong?
