Did you try clear data/factory reset and clear the dalvik cache? If you did and still end up in a bootloop, flash a new rom. If that did not work too, flash the default stock firmware through Odin. Hope it helped
This is sent from the moon using a 100gbps connection

Thnaks, but it doesn't work
my pc don't recognize ODIN, but i have all the controlators and the KIES of samsung

If you are able to get your phone in download mode (volume up + volume down + power) then simply follow any guide from this section explaining how to flash multipackage stock firmware. If ur phone is not getting detected in odin, that is also explained in multiple threads here. As long as u can get the phone in download mode, you should be able to fix the problem. Let me know if u still need exact directions

I had the same problem like you have.
At first you must uninstall Samsung Kies and install these http://www.mediafire.com/?n412p5v6golq4sn official USB-Driver from Samsung.
Start Odin 1.85 and Run it as Admin if you have Win7. Connect your Ace and check if your device get displayed in Odin.
Then go into the download mode and flash your firmware.
If you can't get into the Download Mode you must buy a USB-Jig from Amazon or wherever.

thanks

Ok, so I Flash rocket rom on my note and when i rebooted the phone it stucks on the screen of samsung galaxy note, i can not enter to CMW mode so i can do anything...What do i do? i think i just screw up my cellphone please help me
Probably get a usb jig. Take your battery off.. Insert battery and connect jig. Your phone will boot into download mode. Then remove jig and connect your data cable and flash any stock Rom via odin

Go to this site http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 and you will find Odin 1.85. Firmware for your country/region and flashguide. Register first, it`s free
It`s not so hard: download Odin 1.85, download the right firmware.
Put the firmware in PDA in Odin, close Kies and kies trayagent and PDLR in your windows toolbar (rightclick and go to taskmanager), put your phone in downloadmode, connect with computer and when you see ADDED in the left corner window of Odin and the the ID.com left upper window turns yellow press start and flash and let it boot. Done

Hence, i was told to use odin1.85 to flash back the stock rom.... during the progress... it stuck on factoryfs.img

Does that means i need to pay samsung to restore back for me?
Hello guys, even I am stuck factoryfs.img when trying to flash stock ROM.
I bricked my phone trying to install rocket ROM ICS.
I am using PC ODIN and LA5 firmware, I tired KL3 too, but no luck. I am just stuck at around 95% with odin saying flashing factoryfs.img.
PLEASE HELP
If you are able to enter recover, wipe cache, wipe delvic cache, wipe off data
then reflash
I am not able to enter into recovery. Only download mode is working, but when trying to flash the stock rom, it is stuck at factoryfs.img.

Not specific, you select any different, n as balok said connect directly to usb port, n close if antivirus running. Better download rom without antivirus, some time antivirus can cause problem, if any component of rom falsely consider as trojan.

I've put myself in a bit of a hassle. I think I accidentally flashed the wrong ROM through Odin into my i9000 when being very stressed out, since I couldn't be reached while at work because of a boot loop.
Luckily I got saved by the fact that the OS still boots, thus allowing me to enter recovery or download mode using ADB.
But, I can't enter recovery or download mode using the three button combo anymore, seeing as my current ROM is performing too bad I'm now afraid to flash a new one. If I get stuck in a boot loop now I wouldn't know at all what to do.
TL;DR: What can I flash into my phone using Odin to make the three-button-combo functional again?
EDIT: Would "[ODIN] DarkyROM 10.2 Resurrection GT-I9000" work for me?
Cheers

My phone is already rooted and temporarily using CM9, but will flashing these files provide me with the correct firmware? And by firmware I mean which ever software is on a level low enough to handle key presses before boot.
Thanks
EDIT: From what I've read, it appears as the reason I can't enter download mode probably is because I don't have a primary bootloader. I'll try to flash the version with bootloader included.

I managed to start the download mode by pressing both volume buttons, and while having done so for about 1s I connected the USB. This brought up a message telling me to press VolUp to get to download mode and VolDown to reboot again. I was stumped by this seeing as nothing happened as I pressed VolUp, I then decided to press VolDown which got me to Download Mode.
I'll try to install XXJVK now. Cheers!
TL;DR: VolUp+VolDown -> Insert USB after about 1s -> Press VolDown even though it tells you to press VolUp

odin and download mode problems
hi there
i'm not just a Noob, i'm also very far from being a pro', so all the professional terms mean nothing to me. this is why the forum is very confusing for me...
I got my galaxy S Hebrew OS on it, wich turned out to be a troublemaker. i'ts a phone I bought in china, so it sill has strange chinees notifications no one can understand... and no facebook access, and I can't download skype (it says "skype is not available in your country", even when I had an israeli sim and israeli wifi).
I want to upgrade to Gingerbread (2.3.4), assuming it will erase any sign of the hebrew os, plus improve my phone generally.
I have a guide, odin3 and all the necessary files. when the phone is on download mode, the odin won't recognize the connection. I don't have kies, and when the phone in on ordinary mode there are no connection problems (i'm on "mass storage" in the usb options). I tried it with an israeli sim in, a chinees sim in, and without any sim at all. nothing works. everytime the computer reacts with sound and everything (this sad sound of "i know there's something there and can't connect it"). it's a new laptop with windows 7. I don't have another computer, but I can go to a friend's house if there's a chance win xp would work... should I? are there any other known solutions for this problem?
in addition- do you know (or does anybody know) how can I fix the chinees problems (blocks?) with facebook, skype etc.?
*** i'd be glad to receive answers by mail instead of filling the forum with my stupid questions
thank you anyway

Android is an os, gingerbread is a version of the android os and jvk is a rom, if that makes sense, like I am using Android (os) Version 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich and my rom is dark Knight 5.5
So what u are flashing is a rom

I have this problem before and i managed to use ODIN3 v1.83 (can use Odin3 v3.07) to detect my phone and flash a stock rom onto the device. I followed the advice given on this excellent thread by Supermini.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970
As mentioned on his thread make sure you have the latest stock firmware from the sammobile site or by using Check Fus Downloader as per the guide in Rafael thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156, a working samsung USB driver to detect your mobile on your PC and a copy of ODIN3 v1.83 (or v1.84, v1.87, v3.07 run ODIN in administrator mode if using in windows). Ultimately if this this fails you could always try a USB jig which can be purchased from ebay, etc. to get the phone into download mode.
Good luck and if this helps make sure you send a thank you to Supermini.

So . . . last thing to rescue your phone is buy on e-bay or in other place JIG if it isn't help you then try in phone service and say you tried install new ROM with Kies and your phone is brick (maybe it'll work).
Say to Service Centre Representatives that you kept your at charging last night
And when you woke up
It was not booting up
Pretend as if you dunno anything about root or ROM
They fixed my bricked phone
I am not sure if I am breaking any forum rule by telling this
Hey bro sorry for the late reply also, please before you do anything else try following my instructions.
1) download Odin v3.07
2) source the stock firmware you want to flash from sammobile.
3) make sure you have the Samsung mobile driver.
4) open and run Odin as administrator and load the single file in the PDA and highlight the tick box.
5) shut the phone down and take out your Sim card.
6) put the mobile into download mode as normal (press both up/down vol keys +power)
7) connect the phone to the PC and check in Odin to make sure its com port is detected.
8) then flash through Odin as normal.
I understand what your saying about no download screen appearing, I have found through experience that custom kernels can cause no download screen to appear. Normally with stock kernel this is not a problem but with custom kernels sometimes all you get is a black screen. Ignore this and just make sure that Odin is detecting the phone and try to flash, chances are it will flash the stock ROM and kernel. If you get the setup connection error in Odin and the fail 0\1 just try another USB port on your PC and keep persevering.
Please keep us updated so we can help you if you need it.

Why will it be hardbricked if the custom roms are based on s5830i stock roms?
But it is probable that we did I not flash the rom properly as per procedure..so is there a chance that it be bricked? Else the rom may have some problem... just telling the probability

Follow this and don't worry about black screen just make sure Odin detects your PC com port.

When they wrote the thread, no JB for I9070.
If you get into download mode (remove the battery from the phone, put back and press volume down + home + power) you can reinstall JB stock firmware with Odin.
Succes!

I do not understand ... If you worked with Odin, you should know how to get into download mode, right?
You need to have the computer and stock firmware in Odin shape (xxxxxxxxxxxx.tar.md5) which to select in PDA in Odin.
Read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1985398 and succes!
There are to modes recovery and download. So did you the wrong mode for installing twrp?

broken Recovery Mode.. help needed

Hello,
first i want to excuse me for my bad english, i hope you will understand my problem.
I have a rooted GT-S5830 with Froyo (2.2.1).
The plan was to install CWM and then a custom Rom.
I've downloaded CWM 5.0.2.6 for the Galaxy Ace, renamed the .zip to update.zip (it doesn't work while it was named CWM_XXXXXXX.zip), copied it to SD-Card and installed it via the original Recovery Mode.
The Installation went well, i rebooted the phone and everything was fine.
Now the problem: I can't go to the Recovery Mode.
Every Time I press Home and Power, my Phine stuck at the second SAMSUNG-Logo and, after a few minutes, it boot to the"normal" Mode.
I've tried to do an update via KIES, but my Notebook says that the Phone will not be seen in Download-Mode...
Odin didn't see the Phone (same Problem...Download Mode...)
So... Is there any Idea to restore the Recovery Mode or renew it or... whatever.
Thank you all
greetings
stanse
now everything is broken...
OK,
thank you for thinking about it, now the Phone doesn't boot any more.
It stucks at the first SAMSUNG Logo.
In a german forum i found a .exe which will bring the phone to recover mode, i've tested it and now evrything is broken...
LESSON LEARNED...
Thank you all

Here is the link on how to install stock Gingerbread rom using odin along with all firmwares. Go to the "Preparations" section and download all the necessary files including drivers. When your notebook cannot detect the phone, its usually the drivers. To go to the download mode, hold Vol Down+ Home + Power button until you see "Downloading..." in the screen.
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
Once installed, go to recoverymod and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,

CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
Do post the result. Hope I Helped
Thank you for your post.
The biggest problem is that the phone will not be shown in download mode, so Odin says that there is no phone connected.
I have tried 3 different driver packages...
The link to Samsung says that the phone (GT-S5830) is too old for letting me download any driver.
I think that everything will work when the phone will be recognized by computer..
Thx

Can you tell me what happens when you hold Vol Down+ Home+ Power button?
Then the download mode starts...
It looks different like at my Galaxy S4, but there is written "downloading" in yellow letters
No Samsung Logo before, no sound, no animation...
Hope that this is the right mode...

Sorry for the new post, xda-app won't let me edit the one before...
My Notebook says that the last connected device can't be identificated and that there is a fault in the enumeration if the device (i've tried to translate it from german, even in german i don't know what that means).
Thank you for your help

That is the Download Mode of Galaxy Ace alright. All you have to do now is connect to the odin and it should detect the phone. If not please reinstall the drivers. Hope I Helped
I've done exactly what you say nearly hundred times, with different driver packages, different computers, different cables, yesterday, today, at morning, afternoon and evening. I don't know what to do now...
I think that it is a driver fault, but no chance to fix it.
There are lots of problems wich are more important than this...
Thank you for your help, but i think that i need a new way to solve the problem.
Time will tell.
Thx

Another Ace, another fail...
Next try with Windows XP, hope i will find a computer with XP...
Is there anyone who connected an ace to a linux OS?
Is there a live CD with an OS wich will be
Supported by all necessary programs?
When there will be no solution, than there is another question: WILL IT BLEND???

I don't know what you mean by connecting to Linux. But if you meant using odin in Linux, then well it will not work even with Wine. Wine doesn't work reliably with things that need hardware connections.
