No, don't install Incredible 2 ROMs on an Incredible S. They won't work because although the phones look very similar there are important differences in the hardware. There's an MIUI port for the IS in the Android Development section of this forum.
Ok. Thanks

just rename and flash through fastboot? or i need to use adb way ?
can you please tell me if this is the one ?

Yeah that's, the right one. I use ADB as it's easier and ppl have a higher success rate with it. But obviously it's your choice....

Ye, the ics radios are working with gb. Ur radio is one of the most popular. But rmbr, every1 doesn't live where u live so test it out. If you get 3 to 4 bars its good

Wow! May I know which part of Australia you live in? Coz now I only get around 2 bars

I myself have been using the 17.00.24_M radio w/ Playground ICS for about a week now (optus also).
I can't say that I've experienced any issues as of yet, so I guess that's a good sign.
Havn't noticed any improvement in reception or battery life that I can pinpoint for sure but I havn't had a problem getting good/full reception here in South-East Melbourne, Australia.
The .29M ROM Works great with Gb ROMs and the radio in my signature works great with ICS ROMs also.... You may choose from .29 M or from the radio as given in my signature.

What kind of wrong radio will brick my phone?
Sent from my Incredible S using xda premium
No radio will brick your phone unless it's foyo. There are however region released radios. However it doesn't really matter, boot any radio newer than yours and you'll be fine. Reception doesn't really change between choices unless you skip a couple months.

Thanks for helping

Unsigned radios can brick your phone too.

check the md5 checksum which is provided. TO check md5 checksum google for "md5 checker" or similar
Yes it will, and it will increase data speed, providing you find the right one. I'm using ViperVivo Rom with 11m works best for me.

I also updated my radio and i think the battery and signal also improved!

It's confusing, uhmp last question. Maybe i choose other option to keep my phone s-on. Did you guys have a recommended ROM that can use it without s-off the phone? Thx.
Sent from my Vivid 4G using xda premium
You can use most of the roms without s off the only downside is that every time you install a new Rom you have to flash the boot image separately using fastboot.
