Does any one know of an app that I can change the dpi of a specific app but have the rest of the phone at a different dpi. The reason is because I like my dpi down to 160 but the phone app on aokp is incompatible with anything lower than 200.

Try Paranoid Android ROM. You can set every app with different DPI.

Im pretty sure its 160 the standard DPI
Is this specifically made for tablets? I used 160 dpi and its to large, I went down and used 120 which seems really close but still off.
There is another one for 190 dpi which fits, but has some transition lag.
This as far as I could tell was super smooth even though it did not work properly on my device, droid incredible. Regular dpi 240.

Sorry this is specifically rebuilt for the Xoom and would need to be modded for other devices
If you send me a screenshot I can try to edit to fit your device

Nope I found that using the flip adds serious lag to rom

What's the point of changing the dpi settings? Dpi is a matter of hardware after all!

Make things look bigger/smaller. In some roms, like ice cold it triggers tablet ui, complete with soft keys and navbar

I like paranoid android rom coz it offer something original & diferent. And I like the tablet UI @ 220 the most. I wanted to know what other PA users are using. Does anybody use the phablet ui? Sori for my Inglish.
I uses tablet 200 as a base and settings is always 160. Some apps looks best at 240.

I have searched on here (and searching on Google is a pain, if i wanted HTC One X results i would have typed the X into the search!!) and i cant seem to find anything....
On Samsung S3 and Note 2, to change the DPI, it was a simple case of using Rom Toolbox to change the build.prop file to a different DPI (240 was the way to go) and after a reboot, there it was. Opened challenges with certain Touchwiz items, but in general it worked great.
How do we do something similar on the One? I had a brief flirtation with Slim ROM (very brief as i couldn't get touchscreen to work), but it had a better DPI and looked slick. Sense 5 on the same DPi would be just perfect for me.
Thanks
Stokie
If you use Venom rom, it has built in setting in tweaks..

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, I'm on my phone and have no way to see rules or anything like that. Anyway, I would like to use miui on my Galaxy S3, however MIUI is 320 DPI by default (ridiculous) and changing the LCD density totally breaks the UI. In order to be able to enjoy using my phone I need to have at least 240 DPI. Are there any themes compatible with the decreased DPI?
