Works good with 2 10.1
This utility from the market appears to work (CM10 Daily on a 10.1 Tab2). Super Optimized seems to feel better, but hard to say for sure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1753943
thanks guys for reporting back
there are mixed reactions to it
some swear by it, others say placebo effect !
i think our tabs need it
I notice an improvement. Before, when I would scroll web pages, then pause, then scroll some more, there was a delay from when i touched, to when the scrolling started. Much better with sgs screen booster

I noticed that iPhone have a way better scroll on browser than most of andriod phones.. Than i google a little about it and found that the iPhone uses hardware aceleration (CPU) to do a better scrolling.
Now i wonder if our developers community could get some sort of code on the browser to use more hardware on it, especially to scrolling..
There is any way of that happen?
I have access to a iPhone (my friend's iphone) and i really think that scroll on it is way more comfortable to my eyes, don't know really why.
Sorry for bad english (again), and no notion on programing skills.
Edit: OMG!! sorry, i post it on the wrong session!! SO SORRY!
No flash,simple as...

I think it depends on hardware capability. Like a computer, the vga must have internal vsync feature to minimalise screen flickering and cpu do the frame tearing and method. If we do it just by software I don't think can 100% perfect.
Cmiiw.

Use SGS Touchscreen Booster. Worked for My P970 and Atrix. Not iPhone smooth but smooth enough.
Motorola Atrix 4G
I'm using it too, with super optimized preset. Helps a bit haha.

Nice app.. works great.
Swipepad was working flawlessly on s2, with gb then it was occasionally killed in background on ics with cm9, now on my note with ics, criskelo rom, it's almost useless, it's benign frequently killed in background, the hotspot are also laggy, is there a way to bullet proof this app from being killed,
Any help?

I am using it on Stock ICS. Seems to work fine. A little slow in starting actions at times though.

Does it gets killed in between,i mean you have to open the app to relaunch it?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Hasn't ever done that as yet.

On S2 was perfect, on Note I cant use hotspots on the sides, only on the squares, the other hotspots are not big in size for this res and fails continually.
The dev doesn't even answer the mails and even using the notification icon to avoid the kill of the program, it is laggy and slow.
Kersh
As far as the size of hot spot is considered the new update has provided the option to increase the size of hot spot
But
I'm having the problem of it being killed in the background though i use the notification icon to keep it alive,
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
SwipePad does have the option to set the size of the hotspots. And it works perfectly well on ICS. I am using it on stock LPA.

Well I'm happy it's working fine in ics, coz I'm so used to it, May be a reflash shall work it out, I'm on criskelo rom

I'll suffering too. Only the corners work. The edges are simply not responsive. And this has nothing to do with the app as I've felt the edges to be unresponsive in other apps as well.
The dev is as unresponsive
what i have noticed is that the back key kills the app,i think its the way ics works, it keeps at most 4 in the background, if some one would help me in preventing swipepad from killed in the background would be nice

Have you found a solution for this? Swipepad gets killed constantly on cm10...
Just wanting to know what you all think. Not too much discussion going on here about them. I've used them all, good experiences. Pro, cons, whatever. I personally like the stock .230 leak. I find the smart actions very nice. Also like the app drawer with the different groups.

Personally, I like the 230 update... plan on updating to 232 soon, but holding off because every time I flash, another one comes out.
I'm not one for flashing nightly roms, but I've been itching to try CM9
Yeah I am a little hesitant about flashing .232. But I think it's good news that these leaks keep showing up.
I used the CM9 from the .2233 leak and wasn't overly impressed. I feel AOKP has more options. But these Moto leaks are just so nice in my taste.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium
I prefer AOKP but there are still some issues with it such as static in the Bluetooth. I have 2 phones on me all day at work and the use of a headset is a must. I am on stock .232 with Apex, init.d, and pull down toggles. I have pulled all the bloat and system crap that I don't ever use. There isn't really much at all running in the background. I have pulled some init.d scripts from different roms to speed things up more but not sure which one I'm going to use yet. As soon as AOKP has the BT issue fixed I will be flashing it though.

Sorry for the noob question, but how do you get the pulldown toggles on the stock rom?

You can download notification toggle from the play store and set your own toggles in your notification bar

That's pretty cool. I was thinking it had to be a modification to the rom itself.

I stayed on the .232 leak for a couple days, enjoyed the new "Blur" but there were just a couple thing i didn't like. The launcher was alright a little prehistoric compared to today's standards with Apex and especially Nova being so fast and smart. Not being able to change the Lockscreen shortcuts aggravated me but overall the Lockscreen with its separate Camera, Phone, Messaging, Sound settings, and Lock is nice.
But after I flashed CM9 i wont look back. You can customize everything, there is shortcuts to everything, its very responsive, and Cyanogenmod Team really made there stock applications wonderful. You can tell they took there time in making everything run smoothly and look great as well.
So i would go with CM9 especially Axiobeam.06_TARGA. Thats what i flashed and i love it. It includes alot of extras worth having.
I'm currently on 232 and love it. Tried AOKP and CM9, and while they are both solid, they both lack one CRUCIAL feature- Webtop.
Since I am addicted to my Lapdock, I'm staying with Stock ICS until a good rom comes along with a working Webtop.
Not a big deal though since stock ICS is pretty damned-near perfect.
The CM9 u tried, was it the unofficial one ported by dhacker29?
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda app-developers app
While I do love the features of CM9, there are small things that I really like about the Bionic ICS, like the text app. I like the black background versus the white of CM9/AOKP. I haven't toyed around with Apex enough to know its potential, but I have no complaints about the stock launcher.

I've flashed 2231, 2233, and now 232, and all of them have had constantly high CPU and RAM usage, making my phone painfully slow to use. However, on the AOKP ICS-leak builds I had no such slowdowns (despite other bugs), with almost all of the same apps installed.
Has anyone else experienced poor performance with the stock leaks?
Occasionally I notice the slow downs, but have definitely noticed the high cpu usage, even after switching governors.

So I've been using AOKP for a few days and noticed the light behind the capacitive buttons never shuts off. Even when the screen is off they just dim. Any ideas for a fix, or is that part of the ROM?

You really only need to ask the question once in a given forum. But honestly I haven't noticed in on either the ICS leaks I've used.
EDIT:
Actually I just noticed it but I think it is as designed. If my phone is locked, not just screen timed out, and I have an unlock pattern (probably pin too) the status bar does not open. If the screen is timed out the status bar can be pulled open.
Not sure, and don't see why it would be a deal breaker. Currently using AOKP with no problems at all.

Only thing that's turning me away from cm9, AOKP or even liquid is the crt animation is down towards the bottom of the screen and when I scroll from screen to screen is glitchy unlike the ics leak
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda app-developers app
Yeah that was bothering me so I turned CRT off. I just recently installed CM10 and its nice aside from the lack of camera. Definitely very promising.

Hello!
I want to buy a used Galaxy Tab P7300and I wanted to know if there are some specific problems for this device: some touchscreen issues, some display rendition issues, anything. Something similar like "black clipping" specific for galaxy note and galaxy nexus...anything
I'm waiting for your answers..
I do think it is worth highlighting the lag/smoothness which sometimes occurs when swiping between screens in TouchWiz. Other launchers help and hoping this will be addressed with ics update. This was my only concern with it out of the box. Search lag or similar in these forums and will see a few hits.
Btw, I still love mine and reckon this is the best form factor (few products in its league).
With the ics update the 7310 it is quite perfect. Super smooth and fast. Zero lang switching between homes.
I believe that the ics for the 7300 will work just like that.
The only thing that you should consider would be the nexus 7 vs the 7300.
Cheers.

Thank you for your answers. I appreciate.
I don't take the Nexus 7 in consideration because of the size (I have already a Galaxy Tab P3100), because it doesn't have a camera, a LED flash and the 3g facility.
Thanx again!

The con of the nexus 7 is indeed the size... although I just find it small when it comes to video... to the rest is quite great.
The pro is the update... it already runs JB... We are just getting ICS... a OS that came out almost a year a go...
Your choice
I just found out samsung all share and I'm overwhelmed! #win
Galaxy camera is pretty slow.... any performance tips?
Any suggested overclocking apps?

I think it's going to be a case of 'lets hope newer updates will help' mine is pretty sluggish too, but I've noticed a few new firmwares appear on Samsung-updates with big jumps in the change lists, so I'm gonna give one of them a go.
Sent from my GT-N8000 using Tapatalk HD
Cool, would you let's know if any of them are good
So far so good.
Well one thing is fixed, for me at least, it doesn't change the storage location on boot up now!
Maybe a placebo, but the whole thing seems loads more responsive.
The camera firmware got updated too, not sure what difference the changes will have made, as I've not used it in anger since updating it.
BTW, The one I flashed was the Australian version.
