Smooth 4.0 Rom? - HD2 Android Themes and Apps

I finally got 2k13 on my phone and its working but really laggy. Is there any rom out there will remove this? Or does it have something to do with the kernel

How did you get 2K13 on your phone?
btw try another kernel if a aviable if not, clear some space, because much ram usage can cause lags

[Q] Battleheart miui 1.6

has anyone got battleheart to work on the latest miui. I bought the game off the android market and it works fine on iceandfire (supercharged) but on miui it wont work. can anyone help. It clsoes after the batterheart logo (stays on black screen for a while then closes). Im guessing this is a ram issue. correct me if im wrong
Charlie
P.s im using zepplinrox's supercharger for miui too
on the market it says it is compatible with moto milestone so i guess if u can run it on stock then ther must be sumthin to do with the rom .. cuz ive also experienced tht certain games dnt work on miui but work on cronos ..
if it was a free games i wud have tried it n let u knw ..

the problem with miui is the ram, that rom takes a lot of ram,so the games crash very offen

have u played modern combat 2 .. its very heavy on graphics n ive played it without ne glitch n lag on cronos .. with miui it did lag .. so i presume its the rom at fault ..
Yea I play modern combat 2. Its a great game. Can't believe its only £3. It seems to work fine on iceandfire.
Damn I was hoping it wouldn't be a ram issue with miui. If only the milestone had swap.
Charlie

sorry but what does swap do .. can u explain ? .. i got no idea ???
Well a swap space/file is like an extension of ram. Think of it as adding some extrra ram to your phone. But the issue is a swap space is no where near as fast as ram so it makes your phone "slower" when it is used. But then at least with a swap space/file apps and stuff won't crash.

i guess in less than 6 months all of us will have to get new phones .. with the technology improving the way it is milestone will b a milestone in history
Not neccessarily. I don't see myself getting a new phone. The milestone does everything I want and with its flexible voltage selection the battery lasts a long time. Hehehe. I'm sticking to my milestone since I have a herotab c8m to do all my gaming and films

MIUI can be RAM intensive over time even if it doesn't come accross laggy when running after a fresh boot.
However few hours after i have noticed random lags most probably due to RAM management issues.
IMO, the device is a bit limiting. and for obvious reasons.
mobile tech has been developing like a bottle rocket....
and milestone has been like the first generation terminator....
strong & rigid while easy with expansion/developement....

Faster gb rom...please

I am currently using cm7 and I an not happy with its performance. Its gets hot after ten minutes internet usage and then fc's browsers and apps with browsers.

I think you would be very happy with the following rom:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/chevyno1/150739-rom-ss-5-4-gb-2-3-4-5-31-11-a.html
Try Liquid Gingerbread. Works great for me alongside Chevy's kernels.
I am using milestone and I think that link is for droid.

If you are having that problem then a factory reset(wipe data and cache) should help. Basically starting the OS from scratch will help it. I had the problem of it getting very hot when surfing for no reason as well. If you haven't, update your baseband. That will help out as well. It's the cellular radio that is heating up like that. A new baseband will help.
CM7 is good, you can decrease the cpu voltage and the highest speed to get lower temperature, use opera 11 instead of the build in browser.
As far as Milestone is concerned, Cronos Ginger is the fastest and the one that run more stuff than the others. Unfortunately, froyo still is way better, Cronos Ginger or not. Gingerbread is not for Milestone, at least until someone find a way of running custom kernels or doing some swap... And this is most likely not going to happen.
Thanks but I don't wanda do a factory reset. If I do it then I will switch to another rom not cm7 again. Can you tell me how to update that radio?

I know gb is not for milestone but there is a feeling of being up to date that I don't wanna miss thats why I am on gb even though it crashes a lot. I will try cronos surely. Thanks got reply.

the problem of gb is that it takes too much ram. if we would have an open bootloader it wouldnt be that worse, because we could optimize the memory management.

[Q] Help. Phone reboots without reason.

My friend's samsung galaxy mini, running on cm9, sometimes reboots automatically... this heapens every time when he preforms an action wich takes some cpu. (Like whatsapp, playstore or sometimes even when just unlocks the screen. We tried a clean cm7 rom and a heavily tweaked cm7 rom. So they are very different roms, but still same problem.
Is this a common problem and does somebody know a solution for this?

Yea still CM9 is buggy and is stil nt gud for daily use. N rest of the roms are working fin like CM7 stable version or Cyanmobile experience or new experience by autoradio
Coz we nvr experienced des probs. These probs wil b in the initial versions of certain roms. So try stable versions of roms and you shouldn't get reboot probs..
Hit thanks if that helped u:thumbup:

Well that is not common, maybe he should not overclock his phone. try Cm7 by mebitek or creeds 4.0 rom. Maybe apps force close as he is doing heavy multi-tasking. If u think its hardware defect, u can flash a stock rom and play the dumb at service centres.

Help i have irritating problems with my note

This problem started since i was in kdv7.4 and my kernel was glnote core forgot what version it was the last version before hydracore.. using oc version and my voltage group is B
Here is the bug
Some times when i use the phone something appears in my screen its like a black and white wave going down.. after that black and white wave i will soon lose my signal.. at the same time i notice that the gnote is very hot.
I upgraded my kernel to hydracore still the same issue happening( tried to report my prob in the hydracore forum if someone can help me there apparently none)
The above bug was not that irritating yet because the bug will only last for about 5-8seconds..
Now i change my rom to asylum aokp rom v2.0 the problem got worst
The phome usualy goes very hot radomly even without playing games.. then black and white wave going to occur and will shut my mobile signal this will last in a minute.. to solve the prob i need to plug in a charger... tried to ask in asylum forum if they had the same bug they said that their rom is fully stable. And also sometimes when this problem occurs my phone just automatically turn off.. (battery around 50-70 percent) when i try to turn it on again battery now 1 percent dont know why??? Can some one help me with this??? I always do a clean install of roms and kernels.. help please..
Here is the video showing that bug http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OMqXzJKeqo&feature=youtu.behttp://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OMqXzJKeqo&feature=youtu.be

Try to format your internal sd.
Try speedmod kernel with kd v7.4
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Knock on wood, but I am currently using as well the latest KD v7.4 with the latest version of the speedmod kernel, and I don't have that kind of odd issue you have.
always use speedmod kernel this kernel is way better then hydracore kernel

+1 :good:
Once I had a real nasty battery drain, about 1%/min. Solved it with battery calibration. But never experienced such drain as you describe and don't know how to solve that yet. Does this happen even directly after clean rom installation, or could it be any app or tweaking settings you do afterwards? Do you have the time to check CPU+GPU speed when you notice your note suddenly start becoming hot, and also apps CPU usage, before it crash? Maybe you can get a hint there. Does the same thing happen if you start phone in Safe Mode? It's a good idea to backup rom before you boot into Safe Mode.

Not sure what u mean by 'Better', every kernel has its good and bad side.
Also try moving to Standard version instead of Overclocked. Some Note can not handle OC.
Really needs help. I post a video on youtube above to show the prob... i have erased my whole internal sd change my rom to pa rom. Standard version of hydra core and i still get the bug...

Hi Pierre.. I saw your video and I too am puzzled on what's causing your phone to just suddenly turn off.
just out of curiosity, you did not install some overclocking apps on your phone right? no tegrak mumbo jumbo stuffs to change or speed up your phone before right?
Now if your not using any overclocking apps... you can try using a different brand new battery on your phone and see if the issue still persist after.
Replace your battery.
I believe this is caused by your battery because i get that wave when i use a non original battery ( some cheap ****ty battery ) and that wave starts when im at low battery.
you can borrow from your friends to see whether im right or not

Thanks dude thats what im thinking about also. The funny part is that im using the original battery. But i'll try it. Is battery covered by samsungs warranty?

Don't forget to clean out the battery contacts at the back of your phone as well bud...

I mean, cleaning (not clearing..my apology :silly.. wipe clean the battery contacts at the back of your phone before you put in the replacement one.
go back to stock gb, clean install nothing custom, no root.
Test again, reproducible?
Yes, then Samsung service centre
No, incompatibility with what you had installed Dont go back, unless you install newest versions everything
Send it to samsung service .. they said that my battery port(at the back) was grounded that was the cause of it that also made my battery bloated.. they will change the whole motherboard for warranty.. Back to Scratch..

Lag gone crazy

I got a replacement SGS and I can't remember that my first was this laggy.it is almost imposable to use.
I have flashed CM10.1 and back to stock 2.3.6 I9000XWJW1. But both are laggy
I did a factory reset en cleared all the cash. is there something else I should do?
Strange things are happening with this phone. If i click the dailer ot takes about a second or two to open en sometimes just closes. Well that seems to happen alot. apps open then closes at random.
When i need to answer the phone it is hard to get the swipe to move. strange
Anyone have an idea what I can try to get this think usable?
It some times feel fast end then it stoppes dead.
flash some lagfix kernel for gb. although i already forgot which thread provides it, try to search lagfix for i9000
