Posted a review up over in the RAZR i forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32673702#post32673702.
Edit: oh and in case it's not obvious, the i and the M are the same except for the dedicated camera button on the i so cases are largely interchangeable.

it will be good if you can do a search before starting a new thread, if you look in the accessories thread, all the info you need is available.
Check out the videos Ploone posts. They're very informative videos of various cases for the Nexus S.
I personally use the Case-Mate Pop at the moment. The review is found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4auzR3OVB8
To this very day, I don't regret paying $34.99 for this. There are some flaws with it though, some of the rubber falls off. But I peeled it off and now its fine. The highlights of this case is DEFINITELY without a doubt the easiness to press on the sidebuttons and the grip that the case provides.
I'll be getting a Ringke case this week for a review. Some user experiences of the Ringke case are: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1026779

The Ringke case slides in and out of my pockets just fine. Some users think the back is slippery, while others think otherwise. It doesn't have a sticky texture or anything like that, just a matte-like texture. SGP also has a similar case to the Ringke, although I like the details of the Ringke case much better. Someone else posted a review of the SGP case.

I've got a video on the Active X and the Ringke. I find the Ringke to be smooth with a slight texture to it for minimal grip.
The Active X is decent, offers good protection but doesn't look particularly great.
I suggest skinomi.
Take a look at the feather case from incipio. It is not an extreme protection kind of armour but it's stylish and it has a surprisingly good look and feel. It can also can take a couple of drops (done it!)

the incipio no good for me.. i slides well from pocket but the whole top and bottom are not protected at all.. i do want for it to be a little protected.. but as i see no case that is both protective yet not bulky and good slide from pocket...
which one is better SGP? or ringke???
Rearth had sent me a case to do a review as well as gather feedback for their product from the XDA community.
I'm aware that there are many other Nexus Ringke picture threads already posted, as well as Ploone's video; however, I thought this video went into a little bit more detail, and was worth creating another thread in case anyone was interested and didn't want to go digging through posts.
Rearth is being very proactive regarding improving their case, so if you guys see anything that you like, don't like, or wish that could be added, then feel free to leave some feedback so that we could see it in their season 2 case. (Ex. one thing that I've mentioned before, is possibly adding some texture design to the back of the case)
Here's the link to my video review. I can take pictures on request, but there are already plenty of Ringke picture threads available.

Very detailed video - you convinced me to grab the case.
Have you tried their screen protector? If so, how is it?
I liked it and found it to perform well. Fitment was 98% there. I applied the protector on perfectly but still had a 0.5 mm screen lift on the top edge. I had it on for about a week and found it to be a good protector. I had to take it off because I accidentally creased it while playing basketball. I can't compare how it performs against other screen protectors because I've only used this and ghost armor.

Aww awesome. Thanks for the reply.
I've heard that they purposely make the screen protector a bit shorter because of the shape of the Nexus S screen.
I guess I'll find out when it comes in in a couple of weeks.
First of all, i know there are a few reviews of this case in this forum, but since it's my independent review, i would like to start a new thread, as rearth has kindly sent a free case for me to review, and to gain more information and comments on what people really want from a product whether it's a present product or something in the near future.
any comment whether it's good or bad, i think it's good for a manufacturer to listen in order to make a good product.
rearth has contacted me and a few other members to do a review, which does show they are interested in what people has to say.
If the mods do think this thread needs to be combined with the other threads on the ringke case, please do so, also listed below are 4 other reviews if members need to compare.
Looks like they added NexusS4g cases on their website now. Great review!
looks like they are out of solid black
I just ordered some of them, they look really nice. I have the sprint black case on my phone now so it doesn't get beat up, but i really dont like it at all, the plastic is too hard for a soft case, just feels cheap and its hard to hit the buttons
the button work very well when compared to other cases.
For people who wants to buy this for the 4G version, please confirm this with rearth first, the site says it works, but from the info i have gathered, the power button is position a little higher, than the i9020.
kms108 -
To say "will not fit the i9023 version", is misleading. People will assume that you won't be able to get an i9023 into the case at all.
I gambled and bought a rearth ringke case (wine red), for my i9023 and I must say it more than does the job. It covers the rear and sides of the phone and the volume and power buttons work as if no case were present.
For people who are undecided, worrying that their i9023 would look like a bodybuilder wearing a t-shirt from baby GAP. It doesn't. Take it from me, you won't find a higher quality silicone case for the Nexus S i9023.

it's not misleading, when people buy a good case, they expect a perfect fit, and i cannot state that this will fit the i9023, as it was not made for it, otherwise rearth will state as i9023 compatble, i'll have everyone behind my back giving false info, just like i'm helping rearth promote their item, if you say that this fits, then all tpu and silicone case will also.

Kms,
I apologise. I meant no disrespect. I shouldn't have used the word 'mislead'. I know you weren't trying to deceive people. It's just I found your statement to be so absolute.
You are quite right, whilst the case is not a perfect fit on an i9023, it does however provide a 9/10 fit. i9023 owners such as myself, aren't exactly spoilt for choice with quality cases, and should perhaps consider getting one of these cases.
I'm going to give away my maroon ringke case soon....
It's actually pretty nice... I've been using it for a couple of weeks now as my daily.

Hi Everyone !!
Thanks for checking out my review, I hope you enjoy it. I had fun discussing the last case I got with everyone so I'm reviewing my newest one.
One of the things I really enjoy about this case is the softness of the leather. It is very soft to the touch and feels great.
This case has two viewing angles and 45 degree and 25 degree. The 25 degree angle is unique I believe, and it's my absolute favorite viewing angle.. It's perfect for reading and taking notes while leaving you're Nexus 7 barely raised above the surface and you won't have to worry about it falling down.
The case is very thin, only 17mm in thickness and not bulky by any means.
It's very easy to access the notification menu from all viewing angles.
Lastly, I know I've seen concerns about other cases regarding the sound holds, and this case does not block the sound whatsoever and the sound is great.
Below is the video review as well as some additional pictures that I'm sure ya'll would be asking me about..

VIDEO REVIEW
Nice review. Thanks for sharing!
Hey, thanks for the review it was great. I've been looking for a decent cover for my Nexus 7 and couldn't decide on just one. I watched your review and then headed over to Amazon to get one. Thanks again.
If your looking for a good case that comes in some very nice colors and offers really great protection check this case out.
i embedded the video but its not working for me so i also linked it
i'm sorry everybody i havent tried to use xda to make money was just trying to pass on info about this case.
i guess posting a youtube link is affiliate spam also since it was removed?
Mod edit: Affiliate spam removed.
Do not use XDA as a means to make money.
Was kinda interested when I looked at amazon link but after seeing a few videos I dont like the looks. Has a cheap plastic look with the color and shine.
And my first thought about your video, Why did you rip the port covers off (destroy feature of case) before the review? LOL. Only saying because port covers are a must for me.

I got Artech21 case. Compared to the Otterbox I think the materials are better. I have a Defender I bought in late Aug when I got my Note 5 and as usual the innershell squeaks and the outer rubber has begun to loosen. The Artech21 is a harder outer shell and doesn't deform.
I hate the screen protector on the Artech 21 but it's still better than the Otterbox because it does fit a bit closer to the screen. I have two Artech's so one I ripped out the protector and use tempered glass and the other I left the protector on it.
Thank you for the review. I used code Artech21 for a 20% discount on Amazon. I echo your thoughts. I didn't like the screen cover but it was easy to pry out. This case protects the phone and feels good in the hand. I also like the way the buttons still have a "click". I don't mind the headphone and USB covers so I left them on.
