Just flash a official ROM with Kies and format internal memory card.
PhilZ touch based recovery 6.0.1.4 (temporary) will sort u out. Flash from stock or any other recovery and do factory reset

can you post the screenshot of the error that you get when you try to wipe dalvik cache? I read the error in your topic but a screenshot will be more helpful..
I always get that error, I just ignore it. I like to think it wipes anyway .

I think it gets wiped .. because if you boot your phone after that it takes quite some time.. like the first boot.. if the dalvik cache was not wiped the phone will boot up faster like normal ..

I think you had your data or cache portion wiped of formatted, so the recovery won't find the dalvik path.

As the title suggests, is it possible to run a SD-EXT Partition on a Class-4, 8gb Memory Card?
What are the issues that i may have to face?
Is it reversible?
PLEASE, Do not tell me to buy a new one
Thanks in Advance!

Glad to hear that
I read somewhere that it was irreversible! Thankyou for confirming it as false
Anyway could you provide a link to the complete procedure? Like from partitioning to using a good script? And do you suggest EXT3 or EXT4?
Thanks a lot

Best and quick way to partition would be via ClockWorkMod Recovery and it will automatically use EXT4 which is better.
And I would recommend Link2SD, no problem with it so far for me.

hey.... since your using a class 4 sd card remember not to flash new roms frequently as sd extension gets formatted every time you flash a new rom... and if formatted too many times your card is surely going to get damaged soon ... i'm saying this because i've faced this problem !!!
press thanks if i helped !!!
HI... i'am new in here.
Last day, i found a problem. That is S2E app its not working in CM10.1. (JB 4.2.1)
Then, i browse around google and XDA. ( LOL )
And after that, i combine several apps & scripts that i founds.
Finally, now i can make S2E work in CM10.1
You have same problem ?
Download it here :
DOWNLOAD LINK
DOWNLOAD LINK 2
Flash it via CWM
Tested on :
- XPERIA JB Build#2 ROM based CM10.1
- Touchwiz 5 ROM (V1, V2, & V5) based CM10.1
- CM10.1-20130108-UNOFICIAL-tass
- cm-10.1-20130215-NIGHTLY-tass (Android 4.2.2)
- CM 10.1 RC5
- Almost all CM10.1 built by rohan007
NOTE :
- Don't update the S2E app.
- If when you open it, then it say not granted superuser permission, open the superuser app first.
- If superuser permission still not granted/your sd-ext not detected, turn off your phone for a while. (Reboot is useless)
- If your sd-ext still not detected again you need to reformat your sd-ext partition.
- **Also work on CM9 & CM10**
Credits :
- Ahmad Safar for script
- konstantin12 for app
- Wah-idOne for combine
If this useful, please press thanks
..........it's nice to share...

What do you mean? jb-swap is to active swap partition, jb-a2sd by michie that is made for sd-ext. And, yes, it doesn't work on cm10.1 so we have this topic

hmm.. just flash it in your CM rom via cwm.
make sure no other script has been installed before, if there was remove it first, and don't forget to pray before start.
btw, what rom do you used ?

s2e move your app,app data, and dalvik cache to sd-ext partition.
s2e will free up your internal memory, but not extends it. (But, App Data not recommended to move by me)
you can use it in to your CM9/10/10.1 ROM by flashed it via CWM, (Fresh ROM recommended)
I'm sorry for my bad english if you are not understand with my explanation.

if you installed gapps right after rom instal, you will not get anything new in system with any flashable zip, cause system memory is full...try just with roms gapps to instal., then reboot

After flashing it, lock screen is not working...
Does anyone else have this problem?
How to solve it?
Thanks
