[Q] system image Please !!! - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The only way to unbrick a KFHD is restoring the system image, since there is no "Recovery mode" to get ADB running to attempt repair. Could someone Please share an image taken by the processes explained here and share it? you would help a lot of depressed Kindle Fire Brick owners.
Again, Please help.

Kindle Fire HD Possible Brick Please help

Sorry guys for another thread bout this. But Im new and cant comment on some of the other threads. I messed up my KFHD. The framework-res.apk trying to mod my wall papers. I still have the original file but no help at this time. KFHD is now inop. On bootup, it takes me to recovery page. Reboot option or Factory Reset. Both option lead me back to the same spot, the recover page. I got me a factory cable. Im in fastboot. But pc recognizes the KFHD as Tate-PVT-08. Thus trying to issue fastboot commands via msdos (ol skool), it says "waiting for device". I keep reinstalling drivers hoping it would help. Tried to get SoupKit but link is dead... Can someone help me flash my system.img. I assume thats what i need to do...
Thanks in advance ppl

WHAT!? The link is dead? Strange. Thanks for letting me know...I'll get it fixed.
Oh by the way...The SoupKit thread specifically says it will not work for 2nd generation devices. You're probably very lucky it wouldn't let you download.

get then factory cable, plug intom fastboot and follow SR tool instructions carefully, and you can do it. I just bricked twice and unbricked and run as usual after the step-by-step guide to unbrick. this will save yourself all the havoc, good luck!

I perform all the steps of srTool. but the system does not start. system recovery screen and repeats indefinitely. system restore 7.2.2 I need someone that to share your system.img version 7.2.2 with me please !
Please note that the mentioned "factory cable" is NOT the USB cable that comes with the KFHD from Amazon. You need to buy the cable somewhere else.
After that, you could easily unbrick the device.

[Q] [HELP] KFHD 7 stuck in a boot loop!!

Please help me with advice on the best solution solve this problem.
I mistakenly deleted Launcher in my daughter's KFHD 7 and now the system is in a loop unable to start. When i turn it on, it starts and then stop a "Kindle Is Upgrading... Please wait..." stage.
I am a noob at this, but can follow instructions on what to do the fix it. I have already bought a factory cable earlier. I received the 7.2.3 update yesterday which broke my root and since then, the system has become slow and the screen will get stuck and then go completely black without obvious reason.
Thank you for all for your inputs.

Ok i have been able to fix this problem. The device is up and running. I read up on kinfauns' KFFB thread which is most helpful. Unfortunately, the factory cable i bought off of ebay UK seem not to work. After i connected the device to the pc using the cable and issued the "fastboot getvar product" to verify the Kindle Fire is in fastboot mode, I only got < waiting for device >and nothing else, just stuck there.
I then switched to the stock kindle cable. The kindle booted up like before. Ii issued the "fastboot -i 0x1949 flash boot boot.img", this got the device into Home area and I was able to side-load Launcher.apk backup file from dropbox into the /system/app folder and that fixed it.
Thanks to onemeila and kinfauns for putting up these helpful threads and to longthinkzhang for pointing me to the right thread.

Help with boot Recovery/Loop

Let me start by saying that I'm new to the Android scene and that I'm currently deployed in the Navy so Internet is slow and time consuming. So if you help can you please provide links to what I need and in specific detail? I would greatly appreciate this.
Yesterday I was trying to replace my stock Lock screen photos by editing the file framework-res.apk. All I did was replace the stock photos with photos of my own. To make a long story short it didn't work. Now when I boot my Kindle Fire 7" HD it boot's into a recovery screen. The boot shows a White "Kindle" and a orange "Fire". Once that's complete it goes to a screen that says
Kindle fire System Recovery
Your Kindle doesn't seem to be able to boot...
I tried the Reset to Factory Defaults but this doesn't work. My kindle was on FW 7.2.3 and was Rooted. I don't think I ever made a back up of anything. I guess I need help getting back to stock 1st and then I'll figure out how to ROOT it again. I just want the thing to work while I'm on deployment.
Thanks for the help!!
So no one has answered me yet so I did some digging around and have a couple questions that hopefully someone can answer.
I have a Factory Cable on the way so I can put my Kindle Fire in FastBoot mode. For some reason the computer wont recognize my Kindle through adb, so I'm using the below trend to install the adb, but not ROOT the kindle. That step will be later. Is this the best way to install the Drivers to access my Kindle? And will adb still work with the FastBoot mode?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069117
Once I have the drives installed and the computer see's the Kindle I plan on using the below trend to re-flash the .img back to the kindle. I also plan on upgrading to 7.3.0 as I'm on 7.2.3 right now.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1951254
If all goes well then I will re-root the kindle. I'm having all the installs and .img's sent to me.
Does this plan look good and does it make since to anyone that knows more than I do? Again any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I hopefully will get the KFHD_SRT v1.3.0 tool soon, I'm having it sent to me through the mail as seeing as the file is over 1gb and I can't really download anything to the ship. I know I'm still waiting on my cable. Once I get it I hope to be back up and running.
Thanks again for the help.

I seriously doubt the mods will shut down this thread (it might get moved though) but it would be highly beneficial if you could provide some usable information about your situation.
You should read up on a few topics so you will a) be able to fix the problem yourself, or b) be better equipped to provide the previously mentioned "usable information".

It would be in your best interest to tell us what device you have. As a matter of fact, the more information you can provide about your situation, the better.
